Here’s how I would make the doom syndicate an actual threat: - lady Doppler: has full control over the surrounding air, being able to summon dust, sand, and fire storms out of practically no where, she can also manipulate electricity into a defensive or offensive weapon, she can also use the air to levitate and even fly - behemoth: besides his obvious immense physical strength (which far surpasses that of his comrades) he can use his extreme body temperature to burn or melt almost any material, he can also harden any part of his body to become nearly invulnerable to attacks , can breath fire and spit streams of lava, and finally, any material behemoth melts, he can absorb it to grow in size, the more matter he absorbs, the more his size, strength, durability, and abilities multiply - nighty knight: can turn into a dark mist, becoming invulnerable to physical attacks. He also has superhuman strength, speed, durability, and reflexes in his humanoid form, and from the shadows he can materialize any know bladed weapon, and mastered in the wielding of each one - Pierre Pressure: his mind control range and effectiveness multiplies, as in he could now mind control an entire crowd of people with just a flick of his finger, and can shape shift as well as a bonus, they're now also much more cunning and ruthless. Also, they don’t get into pointless arguments nor bombard the audience with bad jokes

*Here's how in my eyes they could have 'fixed' Megamind 2.* *First off, make it so this isn't 2 days after the events with Tighten, have it be at minimum a couple of months.* *Instead of having Minion changing his name because of a legal demand that is a meta joke at the minions, have it instead be the owner complaining to change his name because it is 'allegedly' confusing people, but Minion himself decides he wants a more fitting name, and then resolved by the end with him deciding 'Ol Chum' or whatever by then climax or near ending.* *Have annoying kid, rather than be some streamer trying to film Megamind, be a kid who preferred Megamind as a villain and thought he was cooler. And wants him to go back to being a villain and tries to 'corrupt him' but grows too appreciate him better as a Hero. Could have her become Megamind's sidekick or new student(Since Minion is now his partner instead of Sidekick) or such.* *Instead of just being an idiotic asshole, have Megamind run into a similar problem of the first film; He had no one too fight. Villains need hero's and Hero's need villains, but just because he swapped roles doesn't change he lacks a villain to fight.* *He can still help but he finds the job boring without someone actually a threat to fight against. Could potentially end the film with him resolving to use his position as hero too help people rather than just too fight crime, use it to make Metrocity better than it was before.* *Instead of being 'founded' by Megamind being a core member, have the Doom Syndicate be a group of villains that were inspired by Megamind and came too Metro City too convert him back into Villainy, which would make them a foil with annoying kid's new role, as they are a far more vile example of genuine villainy rather than just 'He was cooler as a villain', could give them sympathetic backstories like Megamind, give potential for redemption or just leave them in jail by end of movie as the new villains he will get to fight.* *The idea that Megamind was considered by other villains or people to be an inspiration would show even as a villain he was popular or liked in a way.* *Have Metro-City a bit more conflicted on Megamind compared to Metro Man, he did 'kill the guy' so it would make sense they are a bit hesitant to trust him, even if he stopped Tighten, could end with him fully being loved by the city or accepting that you can't please everybody.* *Could do a subplot with Roxanne as without anything interesting as a reporter without a big villain to fight against the hero, news would likely decline for Metrocity, not sure how that could be resolved, but plenty of ways it could if the Doom Syndicate are now the recurring villains.* *Have Megamind be hesitant to fight the Syndicate, not because he can't, but because he is sympathetic too their life and tries to potentially redeem them, could end either with him ultimately realising it doesn't excuse what they do(Being likely more murderous versions of him without remorse for killing, in comparison to Megamind as far as we know not intentionally ever killing anyone).* *The closest he ever got was Metro Man and even then it doesn't count as he didn't expect him to die, nor was he actually dead). End either wanting to redeem them still or accepting them as his new enemies, giving him more excitement in life.* *If Machiavillain actually exists, instead of a mentor to Megamind, have him be another of his race who survived the destruction of their planet(Either body destroyed or having been traveling space) which could play into a third film or whatever if it is done.* *Alternatively, bring back Hal potentially regaining his powers and wanting revenge...* And finally; He beats them using the f*cking dehydration gun :) I'll fully admit, this isn't a perfect idea for how the film could have gone, as I am not a movie writer, but I feel it would have at least worked better than what we actually got.
