thank you so, so much for you tutorials on manga studio! I have been messing around with it for a couple months now, but there are things you need to be explained to know... and, well, now I know! so thank you so much for this!
Thank you sooooo much for this tut! :D I just bought Clip Studio Paint today and I love it far better than Manga Studio EX4, even though they're made by the same company, something about this program seems to have an easier interface, better brushes, more art and layer functions and customization features. It's like Sai and Manga Studio's lovechild :V! Only questions I had were figuring out the panel/frames function and 'voila' this vid explained it all perfectly! Just one suggestion though, if you aren't going to use your voice maybe add some music next time? I personally don't care but I do know it's a nice touch and attention getter.
I am having some troubles... If i decide to bend the tale to the speach bubble, how do I end the bending? If i click it just creates another bending point. Also, when a panel is selected, and the rest is blue, how do I get rid of the selection?
I just got manga studio 5 today, thanks for the tutorial. (its much less talking more showing) lol I am currently encountering a problem with pen pressure with my wacom intius 4, it won't give me pen pressure. do you know anything about it?
I find it extremely difficult to draw on the tiny panel spaces.. I guess doing digital art isn't going to work for me :(.. But still, I may as well get used to the way it is.. Draw the size of an Ant XD Thanks for the tutorial helped big time!!!
Helpful video, but my advice to aspiring artists is to not use tools to generate your word bubbles. Draw them all by hand. Let your linework give life to your drawings.
I agree. I'm generally against using tools before learning to do stuff properly by hands (one of my pet peeves is perspective. too many people learn it by using digital tools BEFORE knowing the basics, and it's just a mess. those tools are there to help you be quicker, not to learn from zero) but this was a video tutorial about how to use the tool and I couldn't very well say "don't use it, do it by hand instead!". Mostly because it's full of people who already knows how to do it by hand and just want a quick way to do it and don't have a need for hand-drawn bubbles for their comics. It is also very time consuming doing them by hand and resize if you didn't draw them correctly for the words, not everyone in this job can afford extra time for bubbles
