My top 10 are all from the worlds top knife maker: Victorinox. You cannot beat a Swiss Army knife for quality, useful functions, versatility, variety & good value for money. These 10 SAKS all fit into the 5th / coin / ticket pocket of my Jeans, either completely or stick out no more than half an inch so that they can be comfortably taken out by me. 1) 58mm Midnite Manager 2) 58mm Midnite Mini-Champ 3) 84mm Cadet 4) 85mm EvoGrip's S17 & S18 5) 93mm Pioneer & Pioneer X 6) 93mm Farmer X 7) 91mm Climber 8) 93 mm Swiss Army 6 ( AKA the Rancher ) 9) 84mm Sportsman 10) 84mm Tourist . I have other SAK's such as the 84mm Waiter & 84mm Bantam, the 91mm Spartan, the 91mm Huntsman & 91mm Camper that fit into the 5th pocket but as a rule I don't carry them in there & mostly pocket carry the Huntsman using a SwissQlip.

Maileah is my favorite fifth pocket knife. The Spyderco Dragonfly (conspicuously absent from your list) is a close second. Great list overall.

LOVED the CRKT Pilar shout-out! D2 blade steel is an option. Can’t believe the Kershaw Shuffle or CRKT Squid didn’t make the list. Both are exceptional (older) 5th Pocket options!

Benchmade Lerch Impel has been my 5th pocket carry for years now. I hated it when I first bought it online because I didn't realize how small it would be. It's neck & neck for my number one at this point though. Awesome little automatic knife!

Surprised you didn't get the Maileah with Micarta scales (White Mountain Exclusive)! Not surprised that the Maileah would be iin your "Top 10". You are probably the "Father" of the Maileah for discovering and promoting it when it was just a prototype. Kudos also for early reviews and raves on a lot of your "Top 10's" like the Finch, Cyber, Stubby and Damned Oni. Odium black/jade combo really looks great. Good vid.

My favorite is the Kizer Flip Shank. It looks like a mini Bowie, action is awesome, and it’s S35VN steel. They’re discontinued, but can still be bought on Amazon and the other blade sites. Under $100.

I have the Odium it's a great knife.

I really like the CJRB, I didn't know about it until I seen this, I'll main it, I can carry any blade length in TX, but I like small knives for being compact, and especially since swaggs designed it, she will have to do more she is a natural.

I've never really been all that into small 5th pocket size knives, but recently, I've been carrying my Pena X-Seies Barlow an awful lot. I've really fallen in love with it. I probably should pick up a Finch 1929 now that I've kind of gotten more into the smaller knives. It's another very classy looking little knife. I like the look of that stubby kwaiken too!

The We Mote is a great 5th pocket knife too I love my maileah too .. it has a great story Savannah’s friend Leah was small tough and sharp and she wanted to honor her late friend … but my Oni is number two behind the maileah I think 🤔

I like my ZT 0022 titanium framelock carbon fiber cpm20cv It's tiny and tough fits great in the fifth pocket

The Finch Drifter makes my list... Also, the Peña Barlow and the SbD Micro Evo Typhoon (though those two are both 6.75 inches)

I like my 5th pocket knives to be on bargain side. Kershaw Cinder with lanyard is my #1 for summer. Deep pocket knives opens a new door. Thanks 😊

One of my favorite 5th pocket carry’s would be my Spyderco chaparral sun and moon because it’s so slicey and I also like my Mkm isonzo in jungle fat carbon

I love my CKRT Pilar, always my secondary knife in my coin pocket, if not that it’s the Spyderco Dragonfly.

I’m with you on the Pilar. I have the CRKT Batum with the 2.5 blade that I love but it would be so much better with a little better blade steel.

I always like to carry one of the smaller Kizers in my fifth pocket, like the Shard, Cyberblade or Catshark...

One of my favorites that you should check out is the Steel Will mini Modus. Great action and a good D2. One of my go to knives along with my PM3.

To me the Spyderco Dragonfly K390 is hard to beat, unless you want to go dope and flashy, than a Pena Barlow or Apache front flipper is too damn good. Awesome video wayne. I currently edc the Kershaw Launch 11 in the 5th pocket for work everyday. Absolutely love it.

I've started buying smaller knives just this yr. I've got the lil native, Chavez TAK, the half track wharncliffe, and the master of fidget called the whippersnapper. The latter of which is probably my second favorite knife now. I'll be checking out some of your recommendations for sure! I completely forgot I have a blue protech sprint. Can tell how often I carry it lol. It's a cool little knife and the action has a lot of thump for such a small knife.

Good list. I am not real big on 5th pocket knives. Would have gone to the larger Tuff and as far as 10 I would say the sheepdog even though I am not cleaver fan. They have a flipperless version you may want to consider.

My 5th pocket knife is Giant mouse ace Riv, I really love the knife, elmax,titanium ,totally awesome but expensive.

Fantastic list, for the most part. I gotta say, I cannot believe anyone would put the Maileah above the Oni, Sprint, Exotec, or even the Odium. Personally, I just didn't care for that knife. But,a lot of people like it. I don't have the Oni, but I have the Djinn and that is definitely my favorite small knife. But, I just got the QSP Hamster, which, so far I am loving (s35vn 2" blade with titanium handle).

Don't know if it's been said or if you've already looked into it but the newer sheepdog with the thumb hole and no flipper is awesome, it fixed some of the issues with the original and might even have cemented it's position on this list. I have the regular size by the way. If you do look into it, wouldn't mind a video on your thoughts about the different sizes and if they all work well.

Most of these knives would be a pain for me to 5th pocket. Back in the day I used to keep a Victorinox that would hide in the little pocket, till I learned the hand sharpening skills that made me swear off Swiss Army knives. While I’ll main a mini Bugout or lil’ Native, I believe that they’re two big and I want something that hides in the 5th and/or when I use it. The best for me now is KnifeJokers Spyderco Jester in 20cv. Amazing blade in every way shape and form. To bad it’s a limited edition of a discounted style that was inexpensive.

I only have one small knife and that's the spyderco Chicago. Looks like I'll be getting the maileah and pilar soon.

8crmov is a fine beater steel and its good for folks to get into sharpening/stropping the crkt version is super ok they treat it well and in its modern incarnation its really ok. (no ones saying its cru' or anything like it - but as a working knife steel its fine)

love the Maliah! the Pilar kinda big and heavy should be lower on the list the boker should be above it.

I think the fifth pocket is a good place to carry a serrated blade to supplement your primary straight-edge, but there aren't many small knives with a serrated option. The only one I know of is the Spyderco Dragonfly, but a Lil Native with the Spydie Edge would be my #1 if such a thing existed. UPDATE: it does exist! Just not available in my country.

If I'm going with two pocket knives (particularly two folders) I usually go with a medium single blade slipjoint and a small-medium locking knife under 3.5 oz.

My 5th pocket choices are the Spyderco Bug and the Opinel #2. These are the two smallest knives on the market that are still “knives”.

Mini sheepdog would be number 10 for me if i could actually fit it in my 5th pocket for all of my pants. I love the knife and carry it a lot, but i will say it's an honorable mention for me.

I have the CRJB Maileah and I have an issue with it. The side of the handle where the liner lock rests when closed is slightly different than the other side. The cutout area leaves the handle much thinner on that side and it digs into my finger while the knife is opened. This makes it my most uncomfortable folding knife to grip. I'm about to buy the Odium. Good video either way.

As an Aussie we can't legally carry large knives (if we can at all). Some of the US EDCs just looks so OTT to me esp. when I see a reviewer opening a small box with a 5 inch blade etc.

Don't know why this is sticking in my head so much, but it is so I feel compelled to post this - having an option to use a knife as a money clip is a great idea on paper. One less thing to carry, easier to organize your pockets, if you're so inclined it does provide an interesting conversation starter (and you can show off a little), it makes it more likely that you're going to have a blade on you in an emergency, etc. However, all of that pretty much gets pushed aside the first time you have to cut something and you have to take your money out of the clip and find somewhere else to shove it temporarily. Now think of how you're going to be doing that countless times every day. I much prefer money clips that have a small blade and another tool like a pair of small scissors.

Pilar is too high on the list: heavy, poor steel, and I've never seen a well-made CRKT. Re. the Mini Sheepdog: the new flipperless one should DEFINITELY be on there.

I’m surprised not to see the CRKT Squid on this list. It’s built like a tank, the 8Cr13MoV blade will handle whatever you need a 5th pocket knife to do, and on sale, you can find them for less than $15. Thanks for the video!

I own the Odium and Maileah. The Odium is nice but I HATED the Maileah. I have to respectfully disagree on that one, to me it feels cheap as hell and the grind on mine was totally off on one side to make it even worst. I also prefer the Civivi Bo over the Odium personally but it's slightly longer. But love your videos...

Not impressed with the Pilar at all. One of my most regretted purchases. Love the Ergos but the blade kind of sucks. It's heavy for its size. And CRKT build sucks. Really disappointed by the Pilar.
