@@litaf4889 Because there are a ton of places online to find that info very easily and if you like the coaching and schematic aspect of football I don't see why you wouldn't
same… I started to keep my eye on him since the end of the 2020 season… i was hoping my team would snatch him up in the 3rd or 4th but he starting to get noticed. i wouldn’t be shocked if he goes in the 2nd now 😞
1st time watching, and I love your attention to detail. There are plenty of "experts" who spit the same stats as everyone else, but don't give the details that are necessary to differentiate one player's talents from another
That explanation of the tight end positions was very helpful! thanks for not assuming everyone knows what they are like the other guys and actually explaining it!
Daniel Bellinger is my favorite TE in this class, He fits that Kittle prototype intangibly, athletically, toughness etc. Not. saying that he will 100% reach that level of production but I think he has that ceiling. Hoping my niners can grab him in maybe the 4th or early 5th
If Falcons can get McBride they don’t really need #1 WR. They can move Pitts to X and can do with a bunch of #2 receivers. They can also move CP around. Probably pick up another receiver in Round 3 or 4 but they would have a good receiving unit
Thanks for doing what you do Marcus. You're an incredible evaluator and always a delight to listen to in the draft lead-up. An amazing repository of information on this channel. Happy Easter!
Finally someone who is as concerned about Dulcich as I am. He just is not a top 3 TE in this class. Great comp for him as well. Great work yet again, agree or disagree with your rankings I still love your work on these videos.
That's what I'm thinking he's a good recieving te just needs the right qb and coach to scheme him open especially with good players around him. Just bring him along slowly like Falcons did Pitts and open him up as the year goes on cuz Pitts had a quiet 1000 yrd season last yr I hope green bay gets him
some food for thought here, Mike Shanahan evolving his schemes into, as you estimated, 15 NFL Head Coaches in insanely influential. How is Shanahan not in the Hall of Fame? during his career he won 2 Superbowls and is now copied by half the league.
Could you do a video before the season starts on what schemes you think each team will run? Offensively? Defensively? Maybe thats two separate videos? For example, you talk about certain players fit in a Shanahan scheme but other than obviously the 9ers, I don't know who these teams are. I'm just getting into (slowly) learning the inner workings of the game over the past 2 years other than just watching for entertainment. I think some break down videos could really help us who are learning
I understand why, but Cole Turner (NV) is underrated in my opinion. He's predominately a redzone target but no one could cover him on fades. Corners and Safeties are too small and not physical enough. LBers aren't athletic enough to hold up on those fade routes. Would not ve surprised if he becomes a 7 - 10 TDs a year TE.
Honestly a Cameron brate comp is high praise, he's a very skilled TE just not very strong or athletic and was good for 500+ and 8 tds when he was a full time starter
Charlie Kolar is an awesome guy as well. He often got put in a position where he had to bail out Brock Purdy, so he didn't get to show off all of his potential as a deep route runner.
Have you taken a look at Lucas Krull out of Pitt? Kid is 6'6" 253 and is one of the most athletic TEs in this class with a RAS of 9.73. He's all over Kenny Pickett's film.
I watched Pitt all season including in-person at the UNC game. Krull was a glaring drive-killer w/brick hands. Their other TE as true freshman was their primary TE target. They also had the best WR in the country in Jordan Addison. Krull had so many opportunities to make something happen and was not impressive
Yep! He fell throughout the pre-draft process for everyone. Did not impress at the senior bowl and tested quite poorly. Excited to see if he can keep the momentum going, he looks great so far.
From what I’ve seen of Dulcich (my favorite TE in the class) I think tonyan is a fair comp. Engram is a borderline slot receiver listed at tight ends. Dulcich is a receiving tight end but he’s a true TE. I comped him to Goedert. He also doesn’t have engram level drop issues
@@ThatFranchiseGuy I think the ability to catch the ball is a big enough separator. It’s literally the most important trait for a tight end/receiver. It’s the difference between a Deguara/Engram dropping a wide open pass on 3rd down in the divisional round and a Big Bob being a consistent chain mover and red zone threat.
@@ThatFranchiseGuy as long as Sean Becton is the TE coach at Nebraska, you might as well pencil in NU TEs in your short list of TE prospects every other year. He does an excellent job coaching his guys up. Jack Stoll was very average until Becton got there. The next man up is Travis Vokelek. Decent receiver and great blocker.
@@spursdynasty7378 you can't test that poorly and get drafted imo. There is 0 athletic upside. His testing really just backs up his tape, technically solid but not an NFL calibre athlete.
I was thinking the exact same thing with the Chiefs and their last 2nd round pick for the Iowa State TE as a Kelce replacement for the future. Just hope he never gets Patrick killed with a missed block!
This is a serious hard position to evaluate. No head and shoulders guy. Always wondered why NFL teams did not use TE position to block on the left side,
