*the regular block does do the exact same thing, tho the umbrella does make a slightly bigger hit box than the regular block*

@@tooterp I don’t like the hi jump Kirby power either because of the one level of nutty noon it took me forever to get that last gear in return to dreamland deluxe I think the power doesn’t work properly

The Copy power is also quite useful in the Milky Way Wishes chapter of Super Star since it's one of the very first powers you can obtain and you can't gain abilities by eating in that part of the game.

Also, Copy is useful in Milkyway Wishes because it acts as your normal ability.

@@tooterp And what about Mini, Ball, Crash, and Light? Mini is only in The Amazing Mirror since strips away your abilities and leaves you completely vulnerable, Ball only appears in Kirby's Adventure because it is nearly impossible to control, which makes it impractical to damage enemies, Crash is a worse version of Mike as it is a one time use, and Light is pointless, since dark rooms are completely manageable, and the ability doesn't hurt enemies whatsoever. Also, just like Crash, it's a one time use. But thankfully, just like Ball, it only appears in Kirby's Adventure. I also forgot Broom, which has a very small attack range, making it unviable for killing enemies.

Fair enough some of those are bad but I actually did consider those I just didn't mind them as much lol. And I actually kinda like ball lolol

@@greninjamariokartpokemonfan Ball is best when used as a mini-Hi Jump. Just use one bounce at a time. Its damage output is insane: it'll two-hit KO the mid-bosses/Shine and Bright, and most of the bosses you can use it against won't survive 4 hits. Limited-use abilities should probably just be their own category. Dynamite only hurts you if you don't crouch while it's going off. There's no tricky timing or anything. The fact you can get hurt if you deliberately decide not to do this is a small price to pay for an unlimited screen-clearing ability.

@@tooterp Yeah, a case where it's sound in terms of _gameplay_ but feels silly to have be a "special power" - as are the majority of powers that are just "Kirby is now holding a weapon" (you mention Staff, Parasol, and Cleaning but honestly Sword, Spear, Whip, and a few others are that way, just with things that make sense to actually use as a weapon...aside from a whip being a _worse_ weapon than a staff IRL).

Personally, Hi-Jump was bad in Kirby's Adventure, but was great in Kirby's Dream Course.

But you can play as the real Kirby and he has copy abilities too Also king dedede is from the Kirby universe so theoretically this copy ability exists even without smash bros, I just used smash as an example for convenience lol

You QUESTION THE EXISTENCE OF THE WORTHLESS *LIGHT!?* At least Sleep is meant to be a joke, and even then, a small selection of later games gave you reasons to intentionally use Sleep as opposed to avoiding it like one should the bubonic plague.
