I love how the "Where Yorick" meme evolved into "Where Hat"

Firelight Ekko is potentially getting upgraded to a legendary skin, but god forbid Yorick gets a hat

The TF skin hit me hard. I voted for that skinline because TF is such an iconic character and deserves a real legendary skin, not one that was made ages ago and wouldnt sell for 975 rp these days.

I feel like missed potential is just skins that should of had Ivern in them.

Yorick's been done dirty this entire year. Not only did Riot mess up the pentakill skin, they also completely boned Yorick in the Ruination event. Yorick's *entire existence* is about fighting against the mist. Then when there's an event centered around the idea of *fighting the mist* , he's nowhere to be found??? Oh nvm, he got a whole three lines of dialogue that *immediately contradict his lore* ! (For those who don't know, Yorick gives the Sentinels each a drop of his holy water basically. Yet in Yorick's lore it's specified that losing even a single drop of it would result in Yorick dying, and Yorick has let people die before rather than give away any of his water)

I never even noticed garen and wukong got battle academia skins

Remember when Yorick got his Life's goal taken away from him by a doll with scissors and the Prince of Persia? Yeah, good times

as a nami main i was so upset that they made her so., human in the bewitching skin. i saw a comment when it came out that said “if you cut off namis bottom half and told me this was a lux skin i would have believed you wholeheartedly.” and i totally agree

There's something kind of poetic that Yorick is the punching bag character since his entire character trait is that he's miserable and depressed lol

I personally hate Ruiend Pantheon because the skin dont care about the point of pantheon which is having a very strong will that help him stand up to a god. Then an edgy emo boy comes and say "Now you are under my control". WHAT? Why is this canon?

I love how Riot basically ignored the entire concept of a poll (most people voting for something is what people want) and gave the debonair, the second place, more love because apparently that’s how a poll works. Come on Rito, it’s not a crime to focus on sales but if you are going to do it like this why even fucking bother with the other countries voting anyway?

As an ex league player, I'm saddened they never added the hat to that skin...my guy yorick never gets anything, he's just there. It truly makes his line "What hell is worst than this limbo" very accurate.

as far as cotumes generally go, ive just kinda assumed that they function similarly as the mulitverse spiderman does. they get portaled in and somewhere somewhen missfortune stayed a pirate and went ghost hunting instead of putting her boots up for a bit to tanle with graves.

The Crime City Nightmare and Debonair makes me so mad. It’s so obvious riot is just pandering to a Chinese audience. Imagine if we actually got a legendary TF skin or some other champions into crime city nightmare. Imagine Crime City Swain or any other champ that fits that theme. It’s so frustrating

I know the Syndra mains nutted for Bewitching Syndra. Having Syndra throw pumpkins was such an obvious choice. Thing is that Syndra's design is admittedly kinda boring as just "witch who throws stuff" so giving her a "witch that throws pumpkins" skin was obvious. It's harmless. Not good not bad. Bewitching Nami and Fiora however? They're trash lmao.

2022 missed potential: Porcelain Kindred with half mask and year of the tiger skins not including Rengar, Yuumi and Nidalee

You know, 2022 has barely begun but I can already say with confidence that Porcelain Kindred will be featured as a top 10 worst skins of 2022. That thing is an abortion, and a far cry from the majestic skin Spirit Blossom Kindred is. Where Spirit Blossom Kindred managed the incredible feat of delivering on BOTH the cute sim dating anime character and the fearsome Incarnation of Death while also featuring amazing special effects and a gorgeous splash art. Porcelain decided to throw Wolf to the fucking side, make Lamb a boring cute anime character once again but without the symbolism that came with the reinterpretation of the Kindred tale with Spirit Blossom as a frail humanoid character rather than a frail lamb, and worst of all, make it look fucking boring. What a astounding failure of a skin.

I mean, Am I the only one to like Gwen’s skin. Her release skin is very bad for my taste but this one suits her perfectly. I love the forks on ult and the effect on Q and mist. Overall, I really enjoy it ;-;

Stop ruining monster champs... Not everything needs to be human :'( nami, thresh, brand, wukong, etc... you can let them be non-human and still fit cute/fancy skins. Like bewitching nami would be amazing if she was a deep sea creature with a more halloween tone.

As a Yorick main, even though I love Pentakill 3 Yorick (it has a brighter vibe that makes him feel more badass than Pentakill 1 where he was like random tombstone man) the thing that upsets me the most isn't the hat, it's the fact that there is no background music playing while your ult is alive like they did with Resistance Yorick, I was hoping I'd get to destroy towers while listening to Pentakill, and I was realy disapointed

The toggle option on skins SHOULD be a mechanic, cuz there's TONS of skins now with hoods, masks, and yes, HATS that the characters either wear or DON'T in game. God forbid we cover our bases to futureproof content.

A sad thing is that human thresh and xerath had potential. They were both human once and,from a lore perpective, it could have been interesting to see how thresh looked like back then and Xera could have given us insight to how Shurima people dressed thousand of years ago. lore heavy and interesting concepts ditched to have Thresh/Xerath with abs...really...

FUN fact about Lunar Beast skin line! Ruby Chroma for Viego's skin makes him look like Dante! For this reason alone, skin is worth it on him. Too bad it's locked behind a 3k RP paywall.

I really don’t like when riot puts two champions in the same splash. The characters aren’t given a real chance to shine on their own unless you’re actually playing them and it makes them kinda boring :/

as a Yorick main we are burden but also blessed with his little attention since no one knows how to play against us but we also don't get many buffs and the last buff we got was immediately nerfed and made the ghoul ad ratios lower than it was before the initial buff

Just recently got into League and watching videos about it as well and I gotta say, I'm enjoying this channel a lot.

For 2022 already we got porcelain kindred where they made lamb a generic human and her skin and lissandra’s are indistinguishable from one another.

So on board with number 9 here. It was one of the first major skin lines where I *really* started to see some same face syndrome coming out of Riot where I couldn't figure out who at least one of the champions were just by looking, and that problem has only gotten worse

Say its because im a Gwen main, but I like cafe cuties. Not typically my style, but it's got good SFX, the outfit flows Really well and the abilites look really good. It's just a massive improvement over space groove for me.

Nicky you should harness the void event power by playing a league match but everyone is a void champ. Like Rek'sai jg, Vel'Koz mid, Cho'gath or kassidin top, Kog'maw of Kai'sa as the adc and Malzahar as a support (somethin similar to this)

The TF skin annoyed me. It's still a good skin, but it should have been a legendary considering he sold the skinline, he's the main antagonist, and could have looked better.

Imo i loved the lunar beast skinline but you are right about darius and jarvan. They still looked very cool and the rest looked fantastic except viego. Idk what went wrong there but his colorpalet was different from the others which made it look bad. If they all had different tint it probably would've been fine.

Aight we have totally different opinions. Bewitching is great. Especially Elise's little pumpkin spiders. You set up old god malphite like it was going to look awful in game, then you showed it, and I was like, "wait that's sick"

Honestly, I like Cafe Cutie Gwen just because the SFX are so satisfying. Yes the concept is a little off & the VFX aren't that special but I still like it, even if I will never play. When Batlle Academia Garen & Wukong were chosen for the skin line, I was really worried when I noticed Garen was hot xD Malzahar is just Malzahar so I will have to agree there. PROJECT Sylas was a strange choice for the skin line as well because there were so many other champion that could have gotten. Arcana Xerath is just great in every single way, although if the next 3 skins on xerath are going to be e-boy style I will be disappointed. Bewitching skins were really mediocre in every aspect since we have seen really similar skins & we didn't get any males this year... Ruined Miss Fortune is a recolored version of her Star Guardian skin in terms of VFX. Old God Malphite was a great idea but because his model is garbage the final product doesn't live up to expectations. Lunar Beasts were fine I guess. Unbound Thresh was just disappointing. Personally I disliked all of the new Pentakill skins as I found most of them underdeveloped.

What about dawnbringer yone? Ingame he lookes completely overdone almost like out of a mobile game

Stuff like Battle Academia Wukong and Nightbringer Yasuo always make me check the models before buying a skin. The splash art of these skins look pretty nice but then you see their ingame model and its a trainwreck.

As a Kindred player, Porcelain Kindred was one of the worst and most disappointing skins ever. They saw how well "Human" lamb did in spirit blossom and tried to do it again, but without any of the redeeming qualities of Spirit Blossom. They just slapped a half mask on a human girl and went "look guys, lamb!" And I've seen an edit where all it does it change her face to be more animalistic and it just looks so much better. China's sway over skins and Champs in this game is too much
