Could have put Ulberg in this list too. Issy was bigging him up on embedded to be a future lhw champion only to gas out after the first and slept in the second.
I lost respect for Tony when he told that soldier, who was giving him props for dealing with his mental health because he suffered from ptsd after war, to fuck himself.
@@appleid3151 i understand but he could be having an episode right there and then, we never know how a mentally ill person will react to the most mundane things in life
10:43 speaking of pre-Poirier Gaethje, I'm so glad Gaethje was able to take that loss to learn and put on a performance like he did against Ferguson after. Leaps and bounds better.
Chael is a very weak and breakable rock. I wonder why they named him that? Is there another rock called the same thing, that is the biggest and baddest rock in the entire universe? Has to be...
I mean Rob shouldn't be absolved of any criticism with his fight against Izzy simply because he's a fan favourite. He kept backing up to the cage, letting Izzy dictate the pace of the fight and was gun-shy.
And Jones would just say to these burns, "Why do people want to judge me? No one is perfect and I answer to the Lord above 🙏 I'm working on myself and will do better! (Insert religious BS quote). Then a few months later he commits another 2 or 3 misdemeanors and felonies.
You guys seriously forgot Aaron Pico? Bellator paid him for 2 years even before his pro mma debut and the media like Ariel were calling him a “prodigy”. Then he gets dropped and guillotined in his debut in 24 seconds
It was awful nice of Chael to give the fight to that guy to help boost his confidence, because he felt pity the poor guy was locked in the cage with the GOAT. It’s crazy to think the biggest arm and the most charm in west Lin Oregon really retired undefeated and undisputed #1 pound for pound king
Being Fedor's protégé only means you we're his favorite heavybag for the month, nothing else. Do you guys have any idea how many Russians that trained with Fedor we're dubbed his protégé?! 2 guys in Bellator just last year people called Fedor's protégés. And I'm pretty sure they both loss
Bullshit, I've followed Fedor's career since he was PRIDE champ, and Kirill was the *first* guy to be promoted as his protégé. (and for many years afterward, the only one) Before him, I guess Sergei got some hype since he'd been training with Fedor and Aleks and RTT since they were all young and shit, but it was a teammate thing, not a protégé hype. I haven't been following MMA as closely as I used to these last couple years, so I don't know about the Bellator dudes/duds. But Kirill was definitely special, and the fact that he mimicked Aleks' stance was another reason that got the Emellianenko fanboys like me all excited.
Gotta call bs on that a bit haha . Nemkov is legit AFA and is said to be his protege so is the guy who lost to Bader . Maldlovsky( not sure how it’s spelt )
@@TheSquad4life - I believe you, I haven't been following Bellator super close these last 2 years... But I maintain that Kirill was the first "Fedor protégé" if you don't count his brother Aleks. And "Baby Fedor" was his only protégé for a good while.
@@magnuskrauss3451 and? Hes in the big leagues now and he had a massive height and reach on him AND Wells ran into the canvas im the opening seconds of the fight lmao
@@magnuskrauss3451 anybody could be matched with a BJJ black belt their debut. It’s not like it’s rare in mma to have one, dude was just crazy overhyped and flopped
Wow the narrator for this video (Bayliun) seems to have taken some of the feedback from the community seriously, much less monotone in this video. Great job!
I’ve always thought that bayliun was a pretty enthusiastic narrator it’s just there was this narrative in the comment section that he wasn’t for some reason
I was looking forward to seeing what exactly made blood diamond ‘special’.. clearly it wasn’t his wrestling, but still looking forward to seeing how he throws hands
@@laurbster2680 I would think that he gets that. I think he was referencing his mate, Izzy, who is a great striker but is not known for his wrestling nor grappling. And as difficult as it is to get right, Izzy has shown that it can be done...
@@siliziwencanywa1138 people think islam hump style is so good but who the hell has he fought in terms of elite grapplers? moises and thats it lol. even though this makes no sense as a fight to make i would love to see islam or khabibs hump style vs a guy like ryan hall just constantly going for subs and weird shit while being 100% comfortable and confident on the mat..
@@laurbster2680 I don't know, Bro. Maybe his size helps him with that but he didn't look good against Jan, Marvin and Rob. I am not saying that he didn't win the last two. But it was a tad ugly...
Charles Bennett didn't start that backstage fight. That's an edited version of what actually happened that they released. The guy with Wanderle actually came over and three-pieced Crazy Horse, before he jumped up and started grounding pounding, then he got choked out. THEN he woke up and knocked out Silva...
Christiano Marcelle I think was dude's name. Crazy horse was trash talking like always and Christiano came over and suckered punched Charles. They shuffled and Charles got caught in a triangle choke. Awoken and slept vandy on his his way out running while cursing and laughing at vandys whole entourage. I know I spelled Wanderlei wrong but my way is easier.
@@skinnyWHITEgoyim Yeah but it wasn't Crazy Horse that started shit talking -- and why would he? He just got done with a match, and was in a room filled with roided up Chuteboxers.. he was just watching tape on the TV and they kept hassling him because he was in their locker room (Since Pride just stuffed them all in one room)
How about the Diaz Bros Protoges... Avila missed with a Stockton slapp and got cracked 😆.. then That other dude who recently got sparked by Semelsberger in 16 seconds 😆🤣.. I don't even remember his name, just that he was on the Card because he was Nick's boy..
The most funniest part about Blood diamond first fight is the fact his opponent ran into the cage and almost KO'ed himself as soon as that bell rung. 😂
I swear Jeremiah Wells deliberately did that to confuse and bait Blood Diamond into a trap, and amazingly it worked. I gotta say when I saw Wells running across the side of the cage I cracked up laughing.
@@Mike-qz4by Izzy's guys have some pretty cringe nicknames, the sort of name to make you sound cool but have no idea how cringe it really is. 'Black Jag' being one for Carlos Ulberg and Blood Diamond being another.
Idea if it hasn't been stated already: top 10 participation trophies. The star of this list in my mind is CM Punk for his late-game attempt at MMA, although it would be cool if the list could be portrayed in a better light than say, this video. While many trashed hard on CM Punk, I give him props for moving into the MMA scene from the WWE scene and giving it a fair attempt. With a lot more work, he could have amounted to at least an average fighter, maybe never a champion, but at least he has done what a lot of people wish they could have done. He gets my respect for that.
I knew Blood Diamond was going to be on this list. If not being the reason for the list lmao he had everyone's bet bc he had izzys backing. The guy he fought was a black belt so I knew he was getting subbed.
How about " top 10 corners that did their jobs and saved fighters by throwing the towel". Let's get rid of the stigma that you have to fight until you can't.
Is that Paul guy that beat Baby Fedor,, the same guy who says "don't fear me, fear the consequences"?! ... it's on a lot of the embarrassing MMA moments vids, because the crowd doesn't know what he's talking about, and doesn't join in! 🤣🤣
that number one story is some gangsta shit, Krazy horse gets choked out by a legend then wakes up and knocks out another legend and escape, then proceeds to talk shit...only to have his cake and eat it knocking out Wanderleis hitman 😄😂guy is a savage
A big factor is just performance anxiety. Not speaking for everyone but like for example when I was in highschool I used to destroy the kids on my team in live wrestling, maybe because I had their number or knew how they wrestled, but even in actual matches. I did better in tournaments, but rarely won my first match so I was usually screwed out of placing in the top 2. But the kids on my team that went to states used to get beat in practice by me, I even beat the kid that won regional/states in my weight class on multiple occasions.
Charles Bennett is nuts man lmao. Definitely an even wilder wild card than Michael Johnson or Johnny Walker... Dude could lose to random nobodies, then out of nowhere, sleep K1 champs and distinguished veterans in Pride ... ----He even Ko'd Candylei Silva! And the myth turned out to be true all along! Wow.
It erks my nerve that we nvr got to see a consistent "killa" version of Hall, the guy was so nice he didn't want to hurt people, his power is that scary just wish he could have got threw that mental block ..I herd some say well Georges is a sweat heart of a person but he dominated even tho he didn't want to hurt people , well he also didn't have that power and if u say well look at Silva , n I say cuz people deal with things differently 🤷🏽♂️ Silva is a super nice guy always was but he can turn on that "killer", keep that self conviction away
I only ever saw a couple of Crazy Horse's fights and know more about him thru watching these kinda videos, but i always thought, 'this dude is the ODB of MMA. and I love it!!!' 😵
I remember seeing Papi Abedi on Spike TV when they re-aired the PPV because it was a tape delay or something. I was 13 and thought he was kind of choochy. Pleasant surprise seeing him on here.
Whenever there is a video on MMA On Point which focuses on negative aspects of MMA it's ALWAYS narrated by Bayliun. I Don't know if it's because it's his video ideas or he just narrates, but it is kinda crazy. I only tune in to those videos to see if it's him narrating again and then i click away. Maybe he only got hired to do that type of videos or maybe that is only what interests him, but either way, it says a lot about a person to only focus on the negatives. Hope he reads this and come to realise what he is actually doing
Yes, I'm sure Baylien really needs career/ life advice from some random hater on the internet. Why don't you take your own advice and realize what your doing, Karen.
