Excellent content once again. I was trying to think how we could push the Beemers up the list a bit. Perhaps add in capacity, e.g. HP per kg per cc. This would advantage the 999cc bikes, with the added bonus of wiping out the electrics 🙂
I had similar thoughts. What is interesting is the competition package for the M1000RR focuses on weight and aero, at the end of the day performance is more than just power as they have to turn corners and slow down ... the fastest bike doesn't always do that the best e.g. the H2 when its on a track. I am definitely biased towards my Beemer.
Interesting aspect to compare bikes. Did the wet weight consider a constant fuel capacity? Great to see you back uploading videos again, keep up the great work 👍
hey thanks mate. No the wet weight was based on having all oils and fluids in the bike with a full tank of fuel. So if tank size varied, it would obviously impact wet weight. Felt like the fairest way to compare.
