How often does PPF remove the underlying paint when removed? Esoteric just did Ed from VINWiki's Ferrari. When they took the PPF off, I believe it removed paint with it. Is that a Ferrari thing or is that possible on any vehicle?

It is a rare occurance but it is a risk. Ferraris are notorious for poorer paint quality and are more prone than other cars to run into issues when removing ppf. Poorly repainted panels are also susceptible. It is quite unlikely but it is a possibility a vehicle owner needs to know going into an install.

Are rock chips more noticeable once PPF is applied? And if so, what would your team do to remedy it pre-install?

They are not more noticeable but the film will certainly not conceal them. They should be touched up or the panel should be repainted prior to film install depending on your expectations for the repair.
