Really great video, Tez. Incredible the extent to which Van Gogh dominated the list, with circa a third of the most-valuable sales on your list. My favourite, though, was the Renoir at #8, an absolutely stunning painting.

You should hear Monet's Tommy Cooper, it's spot on.

This is why i subscribed some time ago...the subjects are very different but almost interesting 🤔 These are staggering/stupid prices and they will just go higher. A good video a per usual, but there is some cr*p out there, most of them I wouldn't give the pickings of my nose for! You did make an error though on number 16 the label says Gaugin but you said Cézanne.

Tez, come on. Significant figures. Tens and hundreds of millions of dollars shown with cents. Lol. I would hazard you could have got away with just showing tenths of a million dollars eg $33.1 million; perhaps one more decimal place in the case of a tie. Showing cents feels... weird. Lol. I'm only 4 minutes 32 seconds in, but had to break off. Anyway, Back to the video. 😅

Nice list, but somewhere very near the top of the list you missed out Rembrandt's pendant portraits of Maerten Soolmans and and Oopjen Coppit, that were sold in a direct sale from Eric de Rothschild to the joint ownership of the Louvre and Rijksmuseum in 2015/2016 for merely €160 million, which in today's money would be about $231 million dollars (See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pendant_portraits_of_Maerten_Soolmans_and_Oopjen_Coppit ) As individual paintings (the amount divided by 2) they would come in at about number 22 in your list, but if you consider them as one sale (which I think you should as they will never be separated) they would come in at number 4 in your list, and their images are definitely in the public domain.
