18.5 was what got me into jordans to begin with. I don't know what it was but something about see that design in an Eastbay back then made me fall in love with shoes
The 15s are the most comfortable Jordan tbh them damn 19s hurt my feet so bad 😩😂 I had at least one pair of the numbers 1-23 before my feet started getting fat 😂😩🙄 I had to sell most of my Jordan’s but I’m slowly getting them back 💪🏾😎
The 10's are some of my absolute favourite to ball in! Waiting on those Red Steels to drop! Those 22's with the Basketball looking leather and MJ mural are lovely! My homie had a pair and they came with a brief case; dude's parent's were divorced and his dad would always cop him some nice j's!
I promise you if they put any later models in the store on the shelf. They would sell, especially if they released more colors at the same time instead of one release of a color. Thats how they sold shoes in the 90s. Jordans actually came out with both colors at the same time. Inagine seeing the concords and breds on the shelf at the same release.
Honestly these weren't bad performance shoes in general, but I can see why many people didn't buy them or weren't interested because some of these designs are terrible. 😂
Still have the white & Red 18's, clean from OG drop, same with the black & Red 15's, got the 22's....i used to be a asst. Manger at the foot, but was a Jordan fan before i worked there....
They are probably not retrod due to costs reason. It's cheaper to retro the earlier Jordan/sneakers models as they were simpler in construction and less complex/more basic materials. This means the profit margin in higher. See Adidas that endlessly retroes those 70s 80s originals and very few of the later ones (90s,2000s) when there were much more interesting models. Personally I think performance/material-wise and even design these shoes were Jordan peak. At that time Nike Jordans used to stand out from all the other bball shoes. Their materials, build quality, fit, performance and technology used to be second to none. Distant times. I remember up until Jordans XXs decade you still had that feeling. Jordan XX1, XX2, some that followed were impressive even when touching them, let alone when putting on feet. Jordan xx1 was truely impressive (fit, materials, lock-down, support, traction). Cushioning was on the firm side but the xx1 PEs had better cushioing. Jordan XX2 was a bit more performant, comfortable shoe. Come back recent times, Jordan 37 materials feel cheap and flimsy. If I tighten them for a better lock-down they will strangle my toes. Cushioning is almost non existent. Jordan 38 is a bit better but they are kind of slippery inside, hard to get a lock-down, very annoying because of the constant squeaking sound even when you walk. Cushioning is slightly better than 37 but still average relative to other bball shoes. Materials look ok but nothing jaw-dropping as it used to be. Ok even fi increasing the price, Nike please come out with some ground breaking technology, good materials. Like some Chinese brands(Li Ning, etc) are doing. It's shocking to see how they took innovation lead. Ok they demand a premium price for that but perhaps there is a customers niche for that.
15 is terrible but all of the other designs are great. I do think they went a little too far with the foot coverings/spats (16 did it perfectly) but at least they were different.
I kick myself everyday not getting the 18's back then I wanted the black & blue suede ones The only way i can get the 15's now is the Billie Eillish ones but close enough though Thank God i got the 22's when they dropped
AIR JORDAN 17’s & 19’s are both HOTDOG 🌭 CASSEROLE 🥘….!!! I like my 21’s, 22’s & 23’s…& haven’t had any AIR JORDAN’s Beyond The 23’zz…!!! My nephew is wearing the Aqua 38’s for AAU BASKETBALL, THEYRE AWESOME PERFORMANCE SNEAKERS’DOE….!!!
Jordan 15 don’t belong on this list, in my opinion it is how a high tech future Jordan should look like, the tech and design on this shoe is crazy, especially when it was out 25 years ago…
I can't even believe this is a video.. i think u need to put an age limit on who likes these sneakers.. ppl who were kids n teens when most of these came out would still happily wear them
With the exception of the 15 which btw I did own back in the day I think these r some of the better Jordan's that have came out since he retired. For me the worse Jordan's r easily 24/25/27/30/15 and lastly 39 cuz wow their terrible and bland. Aside from those 6 they all have some decent qualities and coloways.
