In todays Skyscraper video we count down the top 5 Largest/Most impressive City Skylines in the UK. This countdown is based off both number of high rises, the height of the buildings and votes on Skyscraper forums. It was a very close battle for 5th and 4th but 3rd, 2nd and 1sts placings were set.

Birmingham photos looked 20 years old also the Octagon is 155m tall in Birmingham.

I just used whatever photos I thought would best showcase the skyline. Yes they may be missing a few buildings but show more complete views than others in my opinion. I’m not sure what buildings your talking about, there aren’t any 150+ buildings in Birmingham, the tallest are around the 130 mark.

I think the building your referring to is still under construction. Hopefully to be finished sometime this year.

Yeah it’s crazy aye! Even the change from Leeds to Liverpool to Birmingham Manchester is massive, it’s a bit like here in New Zealand really scales up from 5th biggest - biggest.

If you’re going to the uk, I would personally visit London Edinburgh and a historic city like York or Canterbury

I love Liverpool’s skyline. It has a mix of new and historic skyscrapers. Kinda like a less dense, less tall New York

Yeah I think it is a lovely little skyline and despite its “lack of height” (if you can call it that) it really looks quite impressive and gives off a great vibe. Cheers, thanks for watching
