1. Petr Cech and that’s it. I’m a united fan. Saw schmeichel. Absolutely love him. He’s my favorite gk but cech was different. The guy nearly died and came back then was the best itw. Saving chelsea loads of time

I think these guys took the whole “Cech injury caused him to decline” thing a bit too far. Yeah the injury obviously had its affects. But I don’t believe they really affected Cech like these guy are claiming. I think the whole Chelsea team in general was less dominant at the time and obviously that would include Cech. But I feel like these guys used Cechs injury here as a way to just say that Schmichel was better

Cechs injury was 2006 guys….literally near the beginning of his chelsea career. Went on to record the most clean sheets, win a champions league , premier league and various other trophies until 2014. You man are making a meal of the injury.

We can revisit this when Alisson retires, but it’s actually a bit embarrassing to see him thrown in the mix right now. I love Alisson for all that he’s done for the club, but top 5 PL keeper ever already? No way.

Grizz the football man, how can you forget about pepe Reina when mentioning Liverpool goal keepers of late.. Pepe Reina won the golden glove 3 seasons in a row.. 66 clean sheets in 3 seasons.. Not bad if you ask me. He was also a very good penalty stopper.. UNDER RATED

The Prem is 30 years old and it's changed significantly would be great to split it so you get the nostalgia blended with the new age. Guys great show! I do agree with most of the goal keepers picked however I do dress the fact Turkish, big Steve and grizz have missed one goal keeper in the top 5. Tim flowers for Blackburn rovers literally along with shearer won the title for Blackburn that year! Flowers was amazing in goal that season and watch the game between Blackburn vs Newcastle at Ewood park. Flowers won the title with the Dave’s he made! He was in general a good goalkeeper

Grizz is really underestimating Ederson’s shot stopping capabilities! Alisson is more error prone, Ederson is excellent at shot stopping as well, it’s only because of Tite’s bias, people underestimate Ederson.

Just a suggestion but it would be better if everyone picks their top 5 keeper before the show and get the average from all 6 for the top 5 spot. Keepers who doesn't make the top 5 can just be in honorable mentions

People do not comprehend how good Jens Lehmann actually was. Guy was a leader, a monster, good at penalties, commanding and an elite shot stopper. Lehmann would be number 6 for me behind Seaman. With De Gea, what I think about in my first thought is how many blunders he made. He has cost Utd loads of goals whilst also saving them from finishing below 10th so hard to call but he’s barely in top 10 for me

Cech was still only 32 when a 22 year old Courtois relegated him to the Chelsea bench. He soon moved to Arsenal where he flopped. Cech was washed in his early 30's and still people want to put him above greats with like Schmeichel, Buffon and Casillas. It's like comparing Ronaldhinho to Messi and Ronaldo, at his peak he was comparable but never had the longevity to be in the same conversation as those guys

De gea is a top keeper and deserves to be in the list for right now but I don't think it will last as people need to remember he won only one title and has never won a champions league... i also don't think seamen will stay in this list either he has titles but i think it wont last. alisson has one premier league and one ucl in a shorter amount of time. Same with ederson who also has wayyy more trophies already 3 league titles one being a domestic treble let's wait and see how history remembers alisson and ederson because I'll bet anything they'll be above de gea and seamen. I reckon if this list is re visited 2030 it will be 1 Schmeichel 2 Cech 3 Van de sar 4 Ederson 5 Alisson I think Ederson is certain to be there Alisson will depend if Liverpool manage bag more trophies.
