Imu is terrifying, but Sabo jumping in without a second thought against the ruler of the world and the gorosei is so ASL. Love his bravery. Nefertari D. Vivi is one of the coldest names ever. Her worrying about Shirahoshi, while being held captive shows more and more why she's a Strawhat. Oda is amazing!
If we go by the theory that the D-clan are actually descendants of Joy Boy's pirate crew, Lili's situation might actually be similar to Vivi's. After all Vivi is also a secret Straw Hat Pirate but had to stay behind to rule Alabaster. If we go by the same parallel, the ancient Kingdom might not even be one place. When Luffy finally becomes Pirate King, his "Kingdom" will be all the different people like Alabaster, Fishmen, Minks, Wano, Shandorans, the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, and other allies, maybe even giants after Elbaf arc. Similarly Joy Boy's ancient Kingdom might also have been all these different races that supported him and the Kingdom getting destroyed simply means the alliance was defeated and became isolated from each other.
all ancient kingdom people are D. joyboy isnt a pirate he just needed to be named as pirate because the only option is to sail on the sea.since the ancient kingdom was eradicated joyboy had to attract pirates to help him fulfill his promise. joyboy attract pirates by using onepiece but he was mainly attracting the good people like luffy who has their same beliefs
@@JaelLo-uu3zm is this a theory? You seem to be stating it like it's a fact.... Anyway both our comments are equally theory/head cannon. Who was Joy Boy, who are the people with D and what exactly was the Ancient Kingdom have still not been revealed by Oda. We don't know if Joy Boy was a pirate or not, but Joy Boy did not attract pirates using one-piece, that was Roger.
@@elpsykongroo8308 joyboy made the glyps & lily spreads it so its joyboy who attracted pirates. roger just reignite it so new gen of pirates would have a greater desire to get the onepiece. but to me onepiece is just a sideshow to attract pirates. the point is imu and other kings/queens 800yrs ago are bad guys and joyboy failed to defeat them. yeah these are not facts
@@JaelLo-uu3zm True joyboy made the glyphs, but I don't think they have attracted anyone to become pirates. Before Roger's execution people became pirates just for living outside the law and having wealth and treasure in general (not specifically one piece). Even Roger decided to find the last missing island because he found out he was dying and wanted to go on a last grand adventure and he had been one of the top pirates for at least a decade before that. Even after Roger's execution when people started setting out to specifically find one piece most of them never even know that you need to find the ponoglyphs to reach there. So, I don't think we can credit people becoming pirates to joyboy or the ponoglyphs, they were made specially for the second coming of joyboy which he seemed to know would happen about 800yrs later.
Given Wapols escape, the five Elders and Imu have to prevent spreading any information by themselves, so they can't chase him as they were at that moment. Remember that the Reverie is still happening. And Wapol, being the coward he is, plus his DF, just runs at max speed in a straight path through the castle (and it's walls). Him able to escape might not be too unlikely
So my theory is that they are “angel”fruits. Imu has the hito hito model satan. There is the saying “the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist” which is exactly what imu did. If devil fruits are born from the dreams and desires, the angel fruits could be born from peoples nightmares. The arrow that pierced sabo and cobra looked like a classic cartoon devil tail. Oda stated that g5 is hard to draw because luffy is the only one who makes jokes and uses toon force when he fights. Luffy vs Imu would be a complete toon force battle with a cartoon devil and would do justice to g5
keeping in mind that Imu is pretty much confirmed to be 800+ years old, having lived while the ancient kingdom was around (and having won a war against them) Imu and the Gorosei could have some serious ancient power we can't even imagine. Maybe Devils were hunted into extinction during the void century, sealed into fruit so they cannot express their power themselves. Imu might be the only living Devil in existance, posessing tremendous power since that power doesn't need to be expressed through some human who doesn't know how to wield it.
- Imu I think has the leviathan which is a serpent that can connect to Umi which means sea - Karl Marx aka Saturn is some form of bovine but I think he has a Ushi Oni fruit - Gandhi looks like some form of human fruit awakened I guess it is a human yokai which would still allow him to use his sword - Lincoln became the big humanoid in particularly a Umiboku - Itagaki Taisuke is the the bird creature which is either a griffin, basilisk, or Ziz - Gorbachev has the behemoth (which in some depictions is a hippo) & that horn is actually his mustache
I think Lili laid out the ground work for a 800 year plan to overthrow the WG obviously, cause as this chapter explains she intentionally let the poneglyphs out to the world, and she of course kept one of the most important ones in her home land of Alabasta. Which of course contains the location of the weapon Pluton which we know is in Wano. And we we know Oden after discovering The One Piece alongside Roger, he learned he had to open Wano for Joyboys eventual return. And the sea kings saying the 2 rulers will meet soon also means thats another ancient weapon in Joyboys hands. The Ancient weapons are meant to help Joyboy (luffy) fight against the WG And its very likely Dragon is timing his attack with Luffy's ascension to Joyboy
The real question is how they know for sure that another joyboy only come after 800 years Even when roger find the laugh tale he said I come too yearly what’s the mystery behind this time period Another character toki also said the same thing how do they know that joyboy will only come after 800 years do they have future reader amongst them
Ancient weapons are meant to maintain peace among the races that came from different parts of the universe. Luffy definitely abbreviation of the Lucifer the lightbringer. Romance 'dawn'. Luciferian idealism = Luffy's idealism of freedom. Land of Lucifer is America, where Hanuman city was found among Mayan Ruins. Hanuman, who ate the Sun is referenced as Ah Kin, he of the sun in Mayan myths. By flipping it, pronounced Nika. Dragon is themed after Quetzalcoatl, serpent spirit of air that communicate with the sun and Vayu, father of Hanuman. Monkey (Hanuman) D. (Devil or Dawn or Deus, same thing) Luffy (Lucifer the light bringer) from Brazil (America) who shines thousand seas (Thousand Sunny). Oda suspects hindusm moved to America, and the church referenced their deities as devil. Like Rayleigh says to Strawhats, history has to be found out on our own because the winner writes his story. Only in modern society, thanks to social media, fake news has been exposed. Imagine back then when people couldn't even speak foreign languages properly, lol.
Lily: Toki, you must time travel 800 years into the future to find those who will bring the dawn back to the world. Toki: How do you know that 800 years will be enough? Lily: I don't know, but I believe
the theory about manifesting the inner devils of the fruits is actually makes a LOT OF SENSE because if you can remmeber - the gorosei actually talked about how luffy's fruits always seems to escape them - maybe nika fruit is the one exception that the gorosei cannot control like any other fruits
There is a theory that links imu with the child who thought he was a king and the 5 monsters accompanied him and do everything the child basically says, in this theory Imu is the child that thought he was king and the 5 elders are the 5 monsters that help the child and make him think that in every way. Interesting theory and it is not out of the realms of possibility
@@rainynight02 99% sure the story is Where the Wild Things Are, and this theory actually makes a little sense considering the main character Max (the child) wears a crown somewhat similar to Imu
bruh, people really pulling from Where The Wild Things Are? A book where a kid goes to an imaginary land to come to reality with his parents divorcing?
@@jase276 haha I don’t agree with the theory but I could see why people would believe it since a lot of people are saying imu speaks like a child in the Japanese manga along with the factsome believe the Gorosei are what stops Imu from causing mass destruction (ex. Topman’s reaction to Lulusia)
Saying Lili might have been responsible for the creation of the Ponegliphs made me immediately doubt the idea. "Who could make a nigh indestructible material on the fly that survives past the devil fruit user. I mean Barto's shields, but we've never seen anyone who..." Wapol. Wapolmetal. Lili used the munch-munch fruit to make the Poneglyphs. And guess who just suddenly wound up accidentally saving the descendant of Lili we all know and love. It's way too possible. XD
This could be a possible thing. Wapol metal is pretty much indestructible. We can only imagine if someone made the poneglyphs with the munch munch fruit
The kozuki were responsible for creating the poneglyphs but Lily's blunder seems to be how she accidentally dispersed the poneglpyhs, only scenario that i can think of atm is that Lily had the paw paw fruit and the WG had all the poneglyphs, she was tasked to send them into space or the moon and she sent them all over the world and claimed it was an accident
She did not create the Poneglyphs, that was Wano. What appears from the dialogue is that the world goverment had the poneglyphs back in the void century, but Lily (who was one the founders of the goverment) somehow scattered the stones into the world.
The from Wano were the ones who created the Poneglyphs. The language used in Poneglyph were coming from Kozuki Clan. It was taught from generation to generation. That's why Oden could read it, other than the people from Ohara.
I think it is important to remember that Lili probably didn't rule Alabasta for the entire void century. The previous ruler probably sided with the other 19 kingdoms and when Lili inherited the throne, decided to help the ancient kingdom.
With the flame flame fruit and by himself Sabo was able to escape the most powerful 6 people in the world. Meanwhile ace became a donut and had his whole crew trying to save him
One Piece is just getting better and better, every single chapter. Ohara’s reviews are so interesting and good, I don’t know what I could do without them!
My own theory for this is based from legendary Homer's "The Odyssey" Circe is Imu Her 5 sons are 5 Gorosei Circe in Odyssey is a powerful goddess who can turn her enemies into animals. I also noticed this while Im reading Odyssey Helios- Nikka/JoyBoy Circe- Imu Glaucus- Poseidon Scylla- Nefertari Lily now Zunesha Helios is a Sun God and his daughter is Circe - This might be related why there was a big strawhat laying down in Imu's chamber. Based on Odyssey, Circe fell in love with Glaucus (a sea god) but he rather chose Scylla and Circe got mad and she poisoned the whole sea where Scylla was bathing and it turns her to a giant monster (which is Zunesha)
Yeah but the story of Skylla and Glaucus is not part of the Odyssey, but is a later tale from the romans. In the Odyssey, Skylla is already a monster born from the sea deity Phorcys, not a cursed woman. If Oda only followed the Odyssey, them that story is not happening.
What if those 5 are ancient high 5 rankings during void century ,but then want much power ,just like any historical during medieval era and ancients times, that abdicated any emperors.
Lily being zunesha is an interesting theory because zunesha has a road poneglyph on its back. What if after being turned into a giant elephant she spread all the poneglyphs around the world? And how the upper yard in skypiea was "knocked up into the sky" And has one of the poneglyphs..
I wouldn't be surprised if the celestial dragon where actually a projection of Imu's powers, and are just essentially shadow puppets. Perhaps this is why Akainu is so suspicious of them, as I am sure his judicial intuition knows something uncouth is occurring.
i think the greatest plot twist would be Akainu coming to his senses and joining his most-hated enemies (revolutionary & pirates) in taking down the 5 elders... If he felt that the biggest betrayal was actually from the top onto his sense of absolute justice, which could potentially turn him 180 degree around and become the ally we need but don't deserve.
Hey Manu, since I caught up with the most recent One Piece chapters after a five-year break, I've been faithfully following your videos. Every time a new chapter is released, I eagerly await your uploads so I can watch them right away. It has become a routine for me now, and it amplifies my excitement for each chapter, thanks to the exceptional quality and thrilling content of your videos. I truly appreciate the effort you put into creating them.
And now that we've got that out of the way: what the hell is the name of the brand of your sweatshirt? And please don't tell me it's only obtainable in Japan... But seriously, the first message was the truth.
I think that imu will have the ink ink fruit, which entails forth wall abilities: after all ( speaking from ideas mindset), an artist imagination is only held back by their ability to draw. This is supported by oda making gear fifth silly to have fun drawing fights. Imagine a fight between the embodiment of imagination and the embodiment of an artist. Edit 1 : also supports why he is always blacked out
@@rockstar-made wtf one terrible and lame theory on the internet have to do with the one piece series? The way you said that seems like Oda is a random scrub from youtube comment section LMAO
I like the idea of Imu being connected to the devil fruits in a more direct way. I noticed that when Imu spoke and referred itself to Mu, it was noted that Mu means void, but can sometimes also be used AS...dream! And vega punk said that devils fruitd are people dreams turno reality. So what if Imu has the ability to make dreams come true...making nika and imu very similar, yet so different
One thing to consider is that Lilly may have tricked Imu which may also mean that they were together, as in allies or friends or something. Because when he said "blunder," usually that meant people had a plan together and were working together. And when he said, it may have been done on purpose, it also implies treason. Which furthers his hate for the "D" clan.
She absolutely did that’s what I took from that dialogue was that 00Lili was a back up plan. Like Imu said if it wasn’t for that blunder there would be no poneglyphs scattered across the world there would be no pirates looking for them and then hence there would be no one getting strong enough to rebel
My theory about the poneglyphs. What if Toki could also send OBJECTS into the future (people with clothes and weapons)? Theoretically, Toki could have sent the poneglyph time-shifted into the future and the LAST would be on Laugh tale. Perhaps a reference to Laugh Tale is that in a certain year the "One Piece" appears on this island and therefore Roger was too early. That could maybe explain why Shanks said that is NOW the time to go for the One Piece.
I have a theory about the "D." name. Maybe the people who have D. in their name had ancestors who were in the crew of Joyboy. The Joyboy was the enemy of the WG, maybe his pirate crew was a menace for the newfound WG. Maybe Lili left the land of the gods and joined the Joyboy crew and that's how she gained the name "D.", it would be a great parallel between Lili and Vivi who is a honorable member of the Strawhats. It would also be a great irony since the Godvalley Incident would actually be a war between descedants of the members of Joyboy's crew (Monkey, Rocks, Gol). Edit: I just read the comments, there are other who also thought of this.
I think the Gorosei and Imu's abilities are Dragon Zoan. Like true Dragon Zoan, not like Kaido's fish fish fruit. It would make sense since at least Imu was once a member of the 20 world nobles that joined together to form the Celestial *Dragons*. Mythical Dragons are often depicted as Hoarders and in the One piece story Imu and the Gorosei are hoarding knowledge and power. A bit of a stretch i know but it seems to fit with the Silhouettes shown in the latest chapter and the arrow shape piercing Cobra could be a dragons tail. Im surprised that the poneglyphs were not mentioned as much, considering Imu basically stated outright that it was Lili that put them where they are, and we know that some of the poneglyphs lead to Laugh Tale. So whatever mystery is the One Piece, Imu does not want it found.
I agree with you. I thought the same thing but just for Imu that he has the og Dragon fruit, cause of his arrowshape tail and when he ates Sabo's fire and the turning of his eyes
I think that the D clan, were actually a pirate crew, the dawn pirates (or something similar), in this chapter ace said that if sabo wants he can be a d, and the d of today have no direct connection, so just like luffy his crew and vivi chose an x, joyboy could have chosen a D, and the symbols we see, on the arm of king neptune, on the alabasta flag, on the kozuki clan symbol, on the skypea symbol, a big circle with 8 small circles around it representing the sun, and now with the nefertari revealing themselves d we have 8 families with the d in their name
Imu was talking in third person, referring to himself as "Mu", which means void and also dream by the manga info. I think if Oda-sensei would reveal later Imu's DF power called Void that may grant him through the adjective definition "legally binding" with certain powerful devil creatures beyond understanding from either the Void Century or a hidden location in One Piece.
Imu could also be talking in third person due to them having another person in them like blackbeard, thinking Lily and Imu are kinda the same person tbh
Truth be told I think the Gorosei are a part of Imu and her ability, similar to what Vegepunk did, allows her to make different personalities of herself. But I could be completely wrong with this take.
I don't think the D is a matter of family or blood, Lili was one of the 20 original kings & they would've known if she had it in her name, I think she added it later to her name which would make the people that have D in their name more of an organization or a group than a family or a clan, and maybe anyone can join them by joining their cause (whatever that may be) and joining that group is symbolized by adding the D to one's name *-*
I think you're right. It's made more clear with the flashback. It was silly like it usually is, but I think when Luffy said Sabo could just add it to his name if he wanted is proof that that's how everyone did in the beginning.
Ohara sweating intensifies with each chapter that comes out on top of the absolutely well thought out and researched theories he makes. Oda really dropping fire out here on us 🔥🔥🔥
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this theory but here goes. Check out the sky Island arc. On the cover of one of the chapters it shows Enel looking at ancient "hieroglyphs"/art that shows what appear to be small robot humanoids. Looks like that were built by the lunarians and it's possible that Imu could be one of those beings that ate a devil fruit. Now look at the kanji for IMU.
I am still intrigue that in ARABASTA ARC episode 102 which LUFFY, ZORO and CHOPPER separated with the crew and VIVI where LUFFY found a shaded rock for them to get out the heat then ZORO fell from a sand whole then found a PONEGLYPH lying in that massive historical place under the sands of Arabasta. Maybe that is the letter where LILY put it and where IMU was looking for its missing pieces he wants know about. i hope this would help...
I can agree with you that Egghead could be another Sabaody. If the final battle is looming, then there's a reason the SHP would get separated again. It would be to warn their allies across the world. Its almost certain that Wano, Fishmen Island, Remnants of Big Mom Pirates (esp Katakuri), and Kuja Pirates would join the final battle. Wano obviously have not ended yet. Hiyori's role is still mysterious considering all Kozuki have function of all their names and Pluton is still beneath Wano. Their goodbyes wasn't good as well made me think that Wano will have a second arc of opening the border. WCI seems to have this as well, it was the only place Luffy visited that had no satisfying conclusions and Germa/Caesar being still in the place in Cover Story suggested that the arc could be revived. I think if this is a parallel to Sabaody, SHP would be separated again to conclude the unfinished arc. Maybe they will go in teams of 2-3 people including 'defected' Cp0 members. Luffy and Lucci will end up in Amazon Lily. Zoro and Kaku probably will end up in Wano. Sanji and Nami probably will end up WCI again to get his family and Katakuri's help. They will likely devise a plan to rescue Pudding as well. Robin and Usopp will go to Elbaph. I definitely can see this happen. There probably would be no enemies in Elbaph due to it being Shanks' territory, so Usopp probably will just have some kind of 'trials' here. Urouge may will be introduced here as well.
No one is talking about what Wapol said he saw. A giant skelleton. It's the one from joy boy. As we know from the giant hat, he was a giant or an Oni. And was in a freezer like in Thriller bark
Granted Egghead is very very similar to Sabaody but I DO NOT want the strawhats to lose. Wano was so fucking long and the losses were piling up for Luffy there. Every arc (for the most part) has the strawhats struggling then growing. For once I want to see them come in from jump and fuck shit up like the real Yonko crew that they are now. But it's whatever I'll still read and love it anyway. But I'm not looking forward to Egghead anymore given how crazy everything else has been around the world. So if we go back and the strawhats lose that will be so annoying and redundant.
To be fair if they're really a yonko level crew shanks wouldn't try to protect them (greenbull attacked them after a week) Speaking of greenbull he literally stated that he wouldn't attack wano if kaido still in control and at the same time he was ready to fight literally everyone except shanks a yonko
This channel is great ...cause i have seen many RU-vidrs who puts fancy thumbnails...on a certain topics...but in the video....... subject that has been mentioned is explained very few... And most of the time are explaining facts outside the topic but ohara is great...! Love it bruh...!
I feel like Imu might have powers similar but opposite of Luffy’s. If Luffy is the “god of freedom/dreams” and is limited by his creativity, what if Imu is the “god of nightmares” who can use his nightmarish creativity?
Imu's fruit might be called "the moon devil" since he used a arrow similar to a devil's tail to stab cobra and sabo. Another thing is that he controls the world which is opposite to joyboy who wants to free and bring smiles. One more thing is that he could tuns the goro se and maybe other people into demons since they chose to follow him
@@legendary_boy5452 makes sense…and that’s why D. stands for Dawn…a word that was heavily associated with one piece from the get go. Dawn refers to the arrival of the sun god and the driving away/defeat of the moo devil….(okay moo was a typo for moon but is kinda cool that it sounds close to Imu who refers to itself as Mu but anyway)
Vivi being a D. clan member and now having such importance to the story makes so much sense for her to be an actual strawhat, might as well see her in the sunny go soon!
Am I the only one that is reminded of the creatures we saw in the Thriller bark arc when I saw the gorosei and Imu's transformed shapes? What if those weren't just an outline, they might just all have mythical zoans of the creatures we saw in the florian triangle. Hell what if Imu is the only one with a devil fruit and she has the power to grant others that ability? More of a stretch ya but it would be final villain worthy
I think Imu has some sort of chess-related power, he even looks like a chess piece, the ability he used to counter sabo’s fire was called “rook check”. So he may possibly have a chess power.
@@kiro0989 no, thats what sabo said. Rook Check is a new ability of his, and is why there was a large blast of fire heading up towards Imu after he blasted the five Elders with Fire Fist
So that is why Wapol was with Vivi in the Morgan's ship, which means they got away safely from Mariejois. and that explains why Wapol was so paranoid at that time.
I feel like the "D" initial had something tp do with Joyboy, as maybe all of his crew members got the "D" initial, as maybe Lili was actually a spy for Joyboy put into the world government to maybe stop them and their plans. Also Joyboy's crew was "The Dawn Pirates," so it isn't entirely impossible in my opinion. Another thing is that maybe the 4 godly devil fruit, or gods mentioned on Skypea will somehow come into play here.
I think Imu has a Nightmare Devil Fruit. Referred to themselves as Mu in the translation I read which said it could mean dreams. Fruits are peoples dreams and Imu is the worst kind of dream. Could set up for an interesting battle between Luffy and his "sun" toon powers vs Imu's Dark dream powers.
Wonder if Lili had the Paw Paw fruit and just spread the poneglyphs to unknown locations - it would explain why there's one underwater in Wano, give a bit more flavor to Kuma's fruit, and possibly explain his bible since it seems we're coming to a religious climax
When Doflamingo tried to kill Gecko Moria in the Marineford war he mentioned that the order was from a higher level of the world government ! I believe imu wants gecko moria's shadow ability for achieving their own motives
In my opinion the letter D is not a family name or a name of a race. It is a letter added to the name of people who fought against the government forces 800 years ago and they are the one's helped to put the signs for the next joyboy. What I mean is that anybody can become from the D and carry the will of the D. Imu for sure new LiLi family name, but he/she wanted to know if Lili added the D to her name, meaning that she did what she did in the past in purpose and supporting the D will
I just really hope that this story doesn’t go the “oh, Imu isn’t even the final villain, blank is actually the secret villain! Muahaha”. Imu is mysterious and very powerful, so hopefully he is the main antagonist at the end
For some reason I can't stray away from the idea of summoning devils that was mentioned in the video. For the longest time I thought the D. initial was for "demon". Like the very top brass considered themselves gods/angels/saints and branded those who went against them as demons or devils. Now I'm thinking the D. initial means that those are the people who may have brought the devils into existence in order to fight against Imu and the Gorosei. Kinda far fetched but I like the idea
I feel like Robin knows that the knowledge on the poneglyphs would put the strawhats in more danger. So she doesn't tell them for their own safety, kinda taking the burden on herself. Like IF the crew got captured and they tried to torture information out of the members, it's could save them just saying "she never tells us anything".
Something to think about: In Wano we see models of the dragon dragon fruit but we don’t actually see it (kaido has the fish fish) so Imu might have the dragon fruit 😮
Yup and not to mention that kaidos fruit is a legendary zoan fruit but only in the fish classification, notice how kaido's azure dragon had no wings and needed to turn into his dragon form to fly and only did so by using flame clouds, a true dragon would be most likely be model from the snake snake fruit since dragons are just flying serpents
@@MonkeyDLuffy-zc9bv true, i just got too nuanced with it lol kaido still counts as dragon. I expect Imu to be more of a primordial dragon so that it doesnt feel like he/shes a kaido 2.0
I just want to say something related with dragons. In the Rogers' ship they had a giant egg that could be from a dragon. And now is hidden in Elbaf (best island a dragon live). And the only important persons that know about it is Menkey D. Dragon and Shanks, both having it represented in their ship.
And Dragon is Uranus, being a person like Momo and Sirahoshi, that can controll a giant creature, now an air one. The other ones are in land and ocean.
There is a theory circulating that compares Imu and the gorosei with the story of "Where the Wild Things Are". I can't explain it all here but Imu is a kid that explains why bounty posters and the straw hat looks giant compared to Imu. The power that Imu possesses is making mu (dream/void) we can say nightmare becomes reality, so he is Luffy's polar opposite. In the "Where the Wild Things Are" there is a boy called Max who wants to be the king of monsters that look a lot like the shillouete of gorosei.
Interesting. Imu being a child/child-like person that desperately tries to be an adult (therefore their stilted way of talking) would be an interesting parallel to Luffy, who is an adult that basically just wants to be a child and acts like one.
I think that it is possible that Lili maybe be a previous user of the Ope Ope Fruit, either her or Joyboy, causing Imu to be able to live until this day, thus creating the relationship between the Netafari Family, Joyboy and Imu, which is why even if Vivi is a "D" she her picture is not slashed up during the reverie arc, due to the past. This would also explain why Lili did not end up back in Alabasta, but it's all just speculation, Oda could pull a fast one on us, as even if we know they are devil fruit users, people like Blackbeard are also able to use more that one fruit which due to their "special" body, damn there are so many things I wanna know
I think Akainu is also secretly a D. Would make more sense why he hates the celestials and also give him a reason to turn against them. Just cause he killed Ace and a couple of his own men during Marineford, doesn’t make him a bad guy.
what if IMU really did eat the dark dark fruit (blackbeards) and BB fruit is actually a miss-named fruit similar to luffys. 1085 silhouettes would make a lot more sense if it’s because IMU can do things like make other people “dark or hidden” and the ability to make “dark tools” like the arrow shot at cobra
The gorosei are probably the (summons/parts of him) of imu, if you ask me. We have already seen big moms soul fruit that can give life to things. These things can't go against her and her will. There is also the thing with vegapunk, he split himself in multiple people with science. My theory is based on the fact that imu (if it is old 800+ years) would not trust people. It would need the new gorosei every 100 years or so, and as a secret as big as it is about his existence, how could he trust soo many people after gatting stabed in the back by lili. Pls also give your opinions on the idea
I hope we get a void century arc fully flushing out the back stories of the know characters from that era like Imu, Zunesha, Joyboy, Lili, Toki, etc… that’d be great 😅
I believe Imu is actually a dragon, like a real dragon. Thats how they were able to eat Sabos flame. Dragons in many mythologies are able to shapeshift and take on a human form. Could explain the inhuman lifespan without the ope ope no mi and why they want vegapunk to recreate dragons. cause Imu would be the last dragon alive and might just wants her race back after every dragon died in the void century.
This makes sense, I also looked for dragons in japanese mythokogy and I found: Ryujin, a dragon deity of the sea with the ability to transform into human shape.
Theres a bird and snake myth through many mythologies that are related to immortality, the Bird being the Phoenix(garudas are lunerians in this case) and the Snake/Dragon which would be Ouroboros the tail eater and the Infinity dragon, the Ouroboros can also represent void/nothing too within the empty space in the circle so i believe imu has the snake snake model : Ouroboros fruit since he/she represents both void(Mu) and Infinity(Mugen) and Luffy/Joyboy represents the Phoenix being immortal thru the will of D never dying or dying and rising from the ashes. Also in your gorosei name video for 1073 i called the gorosei being mythical zoans however the verdict is still up for debate if they are the 5 heavenly beasts of china or not, the silhouettes suggest that they arent but i dont trust any of odas silhouettes lol
Imu's powers could predate devil fruit. Same for the elders. Devil Fruit might be a 'nerfed' form of a power that was more common pre-void century. We know Haki and even things like Fighting Intent, as seen with swordsmen, can produce 'abilities'.
The original 3 Admirals were all Logia users so it makes sense that the people above them all have stronger devil fruits and Haki. In conclusion the 5 Gorosei and Imu all have mythical Zoan Devil fruits
I'm going with the polar opposite of Luffy theory. Instead of hope, light, freedom, heat, and a shorted but meaningful life span, Imu has a fruit that deals with despair, darkness, oppression, cold, and immortality. Since fruits are based on dreams and desires, It would be neat of the Nika fruit and whatever fruit Imu have end up as the only true devil fruits and every other fruit is somehow a derivative or distortion of old legends of the 2.
Maybe they all ate 2 devil fruits. The devils inside aren't trying to kill each other but they cooperate through the same will. That's why they look like monsters.
Imu's transformation reminded me of the monstrous form of Money. So i think that Imu has the Ocean Ocean fruit or some other water type fruit. The distorted silhouettes of the Gorosei are because Imu shielded them from the fire. Haki wise i think Imu has the opposite of Otohime so she is good in transmitting/projecting her own feelings to other people. Cobra got hit with an arrow in much the same way as the trope in which anime characters who get their feelings hurt are struck by an arrow. I think this will have consequences later on in the story since Luffy's last battle might mirror the Alvida, Koby and Luffy scenario. So the players will be Imu (a beautiful women who considers herself the ugliest thing in the world), Koby and Luffy. Now Koby as an empath would be weak against Imu's Haki and thus fight Luffy on Imu's behalf until the power of friendship (fist of love) kicks in.
Called Lili D. Nefetari in the last chapter vid's comment section and a bunch of other stuff. 😎 Chapter gave me Full Metal Alchemist the "Father" vibes with the Gorosei being like the homunculi. If they're not part of the 20 families they might just be artificial creations of Imu or even a part of his Devil Fruit abilities. Or even abilities that transcend Devil Fruits and are just innately a part of his/her powers in a more natural way. (Could be evil/devil incarnate)
cobra mentioned that lili left a letter that letter could be the poneglyph that luffy and zoro accidentlly found in alabasta in the middle of the desert just like joyboy left a letter in the fishman island to apologies for not being able to keep his promes (he probably promessed them to live in the normal world and noa (the boat) was probably where they where gona sail to live up in the normal world) soo yeah...
Just got an idea. What if the Void Century is called the Void Century not because it was erased from history but because someone with Void (As in the emptiness between stars) Powers shaped and formed. Imu. In case the whole, lived forever thing is also true.
Everyone saying Imu is terrifying but forgetting the fact that Sabo rushed the “most powerful people” in One Piece all at once and survived to tell the tale like how powerful exactly are these people🤔
I mean from what we saw he was badly injured and it was basically a one shot in a sense though you can argue he wasn’t paying attention and was more focused on getting Cobra out of there.
Thank you Ohara for this awesome review 🔥💪 I want to add somethings: Go (5) Mu (6) Imu called themselves Mu (6) and there are 5 elder stars (Gorosei) @StrawhatUFO on twt has a very interesting theory about the D. Initial standing for "Departure" referring to the French Revolution anthem " Le Chant du Départ" (Also Rogers "Divine Departure" 👀) And looking at Imus arrow-like powers in this chapter.... D No Ishi (Dの意志) = Will of D D No Isshi (Dの一矢) = One Arrow of D Do whatever you want with that information.
bro ohara literally killed it ,I mean I saw your video of chapter when you said that all other five elder stars must be Jupiter , Venus , Mars , Saturn and Mercury . I took a screenshot of it he just missed it by interchanging mars and Mercury . great prediction man
When it comes to Oda, you know he is going to try and make a very clear message with what their power is. Someone who is a high up official in an unjust isnt just going to control devils. What if its something like the Fear Fear fruit, where she can manifest your deepest fears and insecurities. Or create a fear you didnt have before. oda has been making a lot more absract powers. If Luffy is the hero people made up because they wanted him so bad to exist, there has to be a manifestation of common fears of the people in the world. Also if they actually do have Devils in them, that means whoever spread the name they are called knew about those devils before other people. I dont think you could control these devils. They probably need to use us as vessels to exert their power on the world of One Piece.
Could it be that Toki (odens wife) is Queen Lili and somehow Imu forced Lili to send him to future and later to foil Imu's plans Lili herself goes in future and introduces herself as Toki.
And also it has been theorised by Ivankov that Imu is actually immortal thanks to the ope ope user from way back, so there's no need to go to the future if u are immortal and able to live forever.
@@mohamedalizouaied6451 My theory is that if IMU isn't immortal then him being alive today is only possible by using some time Travel shit which can be done using Toki's Powers.
What if, just what if, Zunesha is actually Nefertari D. Lily cursed by Imu because of her betrayal? We know that Joyboy and Zunesha knew each other way back 800 years ago or so and with the introduction of Lily to the story, she might as well be the great Zunesha we know. She might also carry and transport those poneglyphs around the world herself.
Maybe Imu actually uses a Water Type devil fruit since. How the moon controls the tides and all that and the artist that colored it is playing a massive prank
My thoughts & opinions of the chapter: 1. After learning that Vivi’s ties to the D initial is one of the main reasons why her ancestor didn't become a Celestial Dragon & there's Poneglyph in Alabasta's royal castle, wouldn't this mean the other places Luffy visited (such as Sky Island, Fishman Island, Zou, Wano, and probably Amazon Lily) respectively had D carriers regardless of who they are, or if they still exist today? 2. After seeing the silhouettes of the form Imu & the Elders recently took on, I am getting the feeling that Luffy will most likely be screwed unless he takes Saturn very seriously!
Imu's shadow arrow ability kinda reminded me of Medusa's ability from Soul Eater It's ironic because Medusa is referred to as the "Snake Witch", and Imu used that ability to kill King "Cobra" lol
Imu's fruit might be called "the moon devil" since he used a arrow similar to a devil's tail to stab cobra and sabo. Another thing is that he controls the world which is opposite to joyboy who wants to free and bring smiles. One more thing is that he could tuns the goro se and maybe other people into demons since they chose to follow him
The only problem I have with this revelation of Imu and the Gorosei is that it makes me wonder what they were doing during Roger's time and Xebec? I mean Roger literally became the pirate king and let himself be captured, why would they let that happen?
It's kinda like how in Naruto if Obito ever wanted could have just teleported in Naruto's room as a kid and kidnapped him but conveniently never does and only tries capturing him when he gets too strong. It's just fiction and you can't really bother yourself too much.
They couldn’t kidnapped Naruto the geddou statue could only absorbs the tailed beast in a certain order . And the nine tails had to be the last in order for it to work.
@@truffle6082 bro just stop, it's as simple as kidnapping him by appearing as the ghost that Obito is, keep him alive until the appointed time and then extract the beast. Again, thinking about stuff like this ruins fiction lol.
@@runimcomingforyou.4505 1. I don't give a shit about Naruto, it's a shitty story to begin with. 2. Yes you can, Oda has literally built the world of One Piece up, so there needs to be reasons for this.
@@returnofskurk1633 There's lots of plot holes in one piece, it's no different... I mean roger literally got executed by fodder soldiers in a meaningless setting. Oda is never gon' talk about why so and so didn't stop Roger from becoming pirate king or w,e else...
