I will say I love the ult arts a ton in this set, that being said I would love to see you make a massive tier list of all the different pack series from base to scarlet and violet and your top 10 sets you would love to see get a reprint that’s not base set

As of right now I only collect cards that I pull. Cracking packs and getting what you get has always been the most fun for me, and the most nostalgic. I’m sure in the future I will start my bought singles side of things though.

Im the opposite. I got sick of bad pull rates and poo print quality. Now i just trophy chase mint cards when i see one i want. Look for good deals etc

@@joshuastreet8664 yeah I’ve had good and bad luck on different sets. Was able to pull Giratina VStar from Crown Zenith and some other cards I wanted, but have also missed out on a lot. It all comes down to where you get the most “value” from your collection.

Cracking packs is always the most fun! I typically go through 1 booster box & 1 etb per set & then wait 2-3 months to buy singles of any other cards in the set that I want but didn't pull. Buying singles is the smartest as it is much cheaper & you get exactly what you want, but cracking packs is so much fun!

As someone new to collecting, is the paldea evolved set going to be different than the base sv set? I just started collecting crown zenith and the base sv and would love to not get another binder for this next set lol

Wow this set looks amazing and i mean really!!! Like AMAZING! Wow im getting a few boxes of this set for shure because it has half of the cards from the old school pokemon and not to mention these new pokemon look so CUTE AND AMAZING even thought i have never played the game or know nothing about scarlet and violet! 😇P.s. I didnt buy scarlet and violet booster boxes because it was so overrated also the cards werent that great and prices were weird and all over the place till now they settled.

Target already been putting them out for purchase. I got 5 of them. I think some of the target employees thought they were just part the scarlet and violet set. Dr. Applesauce two has a video on this. And I went to my local target after watching it.

I think I got a pretty good booster box. Secret gold rare Meowscarada, full art Tyranitar, full alt art Skeledirge, full alt art chi-yu. The card I wanted the most trough was the full alt art Ting-Lu. I’ll buy that one loose later.

Paldea Evolved is definitely a set that I may go hard on. The one I'm hoping to pull the most is the Meowscarada EX SIR. It'll go great next to my Japanese one! And if I can't pull it, then I hope it'll be less than $100.

Anyone thinking that the pull rates were always supposed to be like Scarlet and Violet because the thieving scandal came out and Pokémon finally changed their printing process security standards so people aren't able to steal the top hits anymore so we are getting real pull rates?

It's an interesting thought because it may have affected some boxes for sure. Honestly though there just seems to be so many more hits now thanks to the art cards in the reverse holo slot. It helps when you have 2 card slots that can contain a hit. Without those the hits would probably be similar to SW & SH sets.

The one in the video is likely real (hopefully a draft version that gets more work, not a fan of how they've tried to do the tera). The other one floating around was a fake using an image from a contest which The Pokémon Company held.

Sad to say, but pokemon is lacking ideas for these new generations. It's common sense too, because people are still falling back on Gen 1 pokemon. They need to come up with a rival for Charizard.💯

Less lacking ideas I think and more giving sections of the fanbase what they want. Pikachu and Charizard have always been popular. I think adding more full art cards to sets gives the opportunity for more Pokémon to get stunning cards and still please the Pikachu/Charizard fans when they get another card.

The Paldea Pokémon designs are really lackluster overall. Everyone knows it, deep down, and it’s going to reflect on the popularity of sets that feature these new Pokémon. It’s a problem that the Pokémon company needs to solve, moving forward, or the game is going to start to fall off.
