Yeah I will do a few more on the float this year myself, I think when I’m on a wreck at anchor and down for the eels I’ll stick a deep float out over the back away from the boat and see what shows!

Hey Gavin! Personal choice I use mono in all my Tope Fishing with a few inches of shrink tube at the end by the hook but others use a short length of wire about 6 inches or wire completely but it’s personal choice! I don’t tope fish from the shore but I know Cox & Rawle do a great range of shore rigs for them that you can buy on Amazon or look at to get inspiration il link one shortly
