Right, the episodes didn't air in order in which they were filmed originally. He might've come back. The next season he was in Against the Grain, so maybe he wouldn't have done that. This wasn't a bad series, I think the ratings weren't there and the network was doing so well at the time, it didn't need to give shows much of a chance as it had done the decade before.

Been thinking about this series and watching more of the episodes. It is really sad that NBC didn't put enough faith behind it because it was the sort of show that should've stayed on the air longer. This second season wasn't bad, although I liked the stuff between Dorothy Jane and Molly the best part.

I love to think that she got back together with Kevin, I always thought she was crazy for breaking up with him LOL

Yeah, it seems to end on the note that Dorothy Jane has found a boyfriend she does like, since she does go after him at the end. I think they would've had developed a relationship had they done another year.

It was never stated, they were never referenced in the new show. I think its just a fan theory most accept as the explanation of their where abouts. Personally I think it would make more sense if they moved in with their grandmother Bootsie. She was living right there in town while the father was going all over the place for odd jobs.

The writer's changed it that Millicent had only three kids instead of five, Gregory and Molly were introduced as the replacement of SF and RA at least in a way of speaking.

@@orlandobabe Yea, strange. I don't mind so much they written them out, but the fact they just didnt give an explanation, makes no sense to me. They could have just write in one little scene in the first episode of 'Almost Home' with for example Mary Sue being sad her brother and sister are not with them, and her mother comforting her that it was their choice to go live with their father but they will see them with Christmas and stuff.
