I hate that Dreama Donathan so much! That was unnecessary for her to rip the flower off Dorothy Jane Torkelson's salvation army cotillion dress! I am so glad that Riley Roberts put Dreama Donathan in her place!
I’ve held the same opinion of her since adolescence. Wtf kinda name is dreama anyway? She’s a nightmare. I hate when people try to embarrass others unnecessarily 😒
If This Show Had Gone On Longer Riley Would've Graduated College And Dorothy Would've Graduated High School Then They Would've Realized They Were Made For Each-Other.
If Dorothy Jane and Riley are different ages wasn't Steve on Full house older than DJ and if that's the case I'm surprised Danny let her date him I think that Milicent could of gave Dorothy Jane a chance to be with Riley but with Kirby he is too immature for Dorothy Jane he nothing like Dorothy Jane just saying
It's funny, I haven't seen this show since it aired but for some reason I remembered this episode like I'd seen it 50 times. Good things just stick with you, I guess! :)
@@Jamessmith-xk3fh No. I forget who sings it. No disrespect, but not even close. I do love the song though. I’m sure it’s in the credits, I’ve just never looked.
I was little and don't remember the show but I saw RU-vid mention the show and saw someone say it was on RU-vid so I decided to watch so far after 2 episodes it's not bad but reading up on season 2 they screwed up what makes the show good
This is a great show, very underrated tv shows of the 90's,it was way ahead of its time.this tv series is pure family entertainment.this one is no exception.
This was such a great show. I have fond memories of watching it on the Disney Chanel as a kid. The theme song makes me cry, reminds me of my childhood with my large family. 🥹
Yeah, I hate it that NBC was so unfair to it. Believe me, if I had been in charge, that show would've stayed on. Why do networks keep shit shows on the air? Ratings, that's why.
Yes, I wish the show would’ve followed Dorothy Jane through high school. They tried to revamp it by moving them to the city, but Almost Home wasn’t as good a show, in my opinion.
Por favor suban los capítulos en español 🙏🙌 soy de la ciudad de México 🇲🇽 y quise recordar un poco d mi adolescencia .. pues con esta serie conocí el humor negro y sarcástico 🤗
Poor 14 year old girl doesn’t realize the boy next door only treats her like a little sister but she still dramatically fantasize that he is secretly in love with her. Poor girl is in for a painful reality call later on in the series.
Cuanta nostalgia,el hombre de la luna, aquellos años tan hermosos llenos de inocencia,mi nudo en la garganta es el mismo que en los ochentas.gracias por los recuerdos
Wow. So many little bits came back to me just before they happened. From Chucky Lee going GOoood gooooood, to Mary Sue saying she wants a baby brother and her mom saying no, to Kirby saying "you'll ditch me." Thank you. ❤
I cannot stand Dreamas smug look on her face but the dance was ruined when Kirby grabbed DJ at the dance at the end and she was humiliated by everyone at the dance with him when she wanted to dance with the most handsome guy in the school Riley
I feel like they should've set it up better. Maybe they could've put in a line or two where Kirby expresses some dread that Dorothy Jane will ditch him to go dance with someone more popular than him. Man, if only they did that, we'd better understand his jealousy at seeing her with Riley.
oh my Gods! I remember this show from the late 90s on Disney. I was a teenager. The wholesome atmosphere is so amazing. 😢 we have nothing like this on tv anymore. Back then you always found good shows like this one that taught you morals and had heartwarming characters. Love Dorothy Jane talking to the man in the moon every episode. As for this episode. I hate that Dream Donavan. She didn't have be so rude. But I loved how Riley stood up for her.
wait wait wait wait WAIT ... WAIT! am I crazy, hearing impaired or is that girls name Dreama McDonathan? someone please, pretty please correct or confirm
What the heck happened to Ernie Lively and Benj Thall (the original eldest son of the family) after the pilot? I liked Ernie's character, as he was a sweet and fitting suitor for the mother. Aaron Michael Metchik's character was a bit of a punk! But the biggest change between episodes 1 and 2 was the addition of Mrs. Cora-Beth Godsey from The Waltons! I don't remember her being on this show. Man, she pretty much looked and sounded the same in the '90s as she did in the '70s. Crazy!
Michael Jacobs, the creator, basically gave up and scrapped the show to start focusing on Boy Meets World. That's basically why the Torkelsons never went very far.
Hailey was a snob at the party she did not speak to Dorothy Jane I think she was too good to speak to her I don't know what he saw in the snob girls just saying
does anyone know if Anna Slotky was Pentecostal? I know the character wasn't because the other girls wore pants but she never did. It was always a dress or skirt
I loved this show as a kid, but now watching it as an adult and single mom, it gives me even more "feels." Dorothy Jane took the high road, because sis Dreama would've gotten slapped for snatching that rose off MY dress.
