Even as a Charger’s fan I wasn’t the biggest Rivers fan in the beginning. But he definitely earned a lot of my respect from this game. Though we lost the fact he played with that kind of injury shows how much heart the guy really had. Of course one’s gotta wonder too how we would’ve done against the pats if we were at 100%

The trash talk made me hate Rivers but when I found out he had one of the 3 surgeries he was about to get and he still decided to play the AFC Championship against the Undefeated Patriots made me respect Rivers and didn't care about his trash talk and made me wish he won a Superbowl as a player

There's a difference between throwing on 1 leg and running through 200-300 pound men on 1 leg

I agree with Bruce, LT did wimp out. Not only that he was not engaged on the sideline either, he was off by himself with his helmet on with that visor covering his face the entire game. Sprain VS Actual tear. The guy with an actual tear played the game and tired. The other watched.

This was an amazing performance, but I have to say the greatest demonstration of toughness in NFL history was Johnny Unitas completing a game with three broken ribs and a punctured lung.

That wasn’t tough. That was kind of dumb and irresponsible. He had one of the best backup qbs in the league in Volek who had lead the Chargers on a game winning drive the game before. But it doesn’t really matter who was at qb. They weren’t beating the Pats.
