Wouldn't the guy try to kill you now? So you'll end up in the gutter like the previous person he lost to? I guess? Dunno? Seems like that's something that could happen.
@heyamarii yah well I wasn't expecting it, just going dowb on my horse and got thrown off it from hitting the rope he has tied across the trail lol I always killed him np but the posion always got me
You almost spoilered her..Why? He knocked me off my horse and killed me 10 times in a row with that damn poison my first time. Second time he got a dagger to the throat. I still don't go anywhere without antidote in my bag any more though.
"Hey lad! Don't you want to put a little wager on the Rattay tourney?" I think you are more than ready to get some extra coin on certain miller's account. "Dead man tells no tales" quest ended abruptly, because you attended tourney in the past, and found nothing about Black Peter there. It's confusing, because at that point you had no idea someone like Black Peter even exists. In dialogue with blacksmith, picking line "I took part in that tourney" is interpreted as you attended tourney after proposing blacksmith to do so, went there but found nothing, and it ends the quest. But you still should be able to tell the blacksmith what happened to his son, once you find out.
Ooooo good memory! I should bet on myself and make some extra cash with the Miller. Thank you for that reminder. That makes sense the quest ended like that, it was a tad confusing for me. At least I got context of what’s going on at the tourney though
Yay, we so back baby! :) Taking 2 digestive potions, so you have enough space in your belly for a hair o' the dog is what we call a pro gamer move. :D Pretty sure the Riddler says your solution is the correct one when you say three haha. I've got some correct though, so he's not just mugging you. Yeah when you choose your weapons for the tourney, and so do NPCs. Every candidate gets one choice weapon round and one opponent weapon round. If it isn't over by round 2, Divish decides weapons for round 3. You get the same armour as your opponent, so that's why you don't break your own armour and also so nobody can gain an advantage. Well, except Peter somehow snuck plate paulrons in there.. Yup, he also chose axes last round lol. You were level 0 , very close to 1 when you entered the tourney and Peter chose axes! xD You're 100% correct about master strikes and combat in general. Also: You were getting those feints down after you were practising master strikes. Some very nice jukes there. Also good attacks after winning a master strike or clinch if you're close enough; make those free hits count. Congrats on Shadowfax! That horse armour is very high tech in 1403, looking good and made in Priby! "In through your nose, out through your mouth!" lmao when you're coaching Marius on cardio day xD You went back to Rattay but you could've just built the first stage of the Rathaus and you'd have a trunk in Priby too. I heard you found Peter by now? :D That bloody bastard knocked me off my horse in full gallop
I agree about the master strike thing, being too OP. Attacking always risks being parried, waiting until an attack consistently allows you to preform a master strike. Combos look great when preformed but are never viable against high level opponents, and you don't need them against low level enemies. I'm really hoping KCD2 improves on the combat. They seem to be paying a lot of attention to criticism and the master strike thing is one of the main one people bring up. The armor you get from the tourney is some of my favorite. It's not the best, but it looks great. Oh and about the tourney, everyone gets to borrow a set of armor and weapons to make it equal. So you're not using your own gear. Congratulations on defeating Black Peter. I'm glad that he's been humbled and has accepted defeat with grace and dignity.
Congratulations on winning the tourney! Especially since you had zero skill in the final weapon type. Did you play this after Still wakes the deep? If so then you had the added handicap of a wounded pinky finger 😂
