Out of everything in the showcase this one was my absolute favorite!

There is something beautiful about the Lego pixelated aesthetics of this game. Not sure if it's nostalgia, but sometimes simplicity is beauty. Maybe the contrast of the light effects helps?

Loving the voxel style here! Great looking setting and I'm liking the tone. Gonna have to keep my eye on this one. Hope that Shin'en gets more recognition soon! They do some really solid work!

I'm really looking forward to this. I love of all the exploring/adventuring aspects. Puzzle solving and whatnot are my jam. You have my attention Shinen. I'm hoping for the best

This was my highlight of the whole event. I really like the look of this. It looks like an interesting take on an action adventure game. Sort of like a weird mix of Zelda and GTA.

The Legend Of Touryst: Awakening

This is really tempting me to buy a switch

This game plays really smoothly and runs great on Switch. It looks beautiful with the simple 3D pixel art style and lighting. It's a really charming game. Shi'nen has always seemed to make sort of B-List games that were impressive on a technical scale. If you look through their games you'll probably recognize a lot of them. I think with the Switch they have really found their platform. The Touryst is a great gem and they also made FAST RMX back at launch. It's really impressive what this relatively indie is able to accomplish. Even the aforementioned B-Tier games have some devoted fanbases back on the 3DS and there was a clear talent in bringing the best out of consoles graphical limitations with games that shine above the rest. The Touryist art style reminds me so much of The Legend of Zelda Link''s Awakening for Switch. There's a nice simplicity to it and it's a joy to play. I also think this game is a big flag for the company and the future of what they are working on. Shi'nen is leveling up and finding their stride.

I love this game. It's like a mixture of Zelda and Lego and the soundtrack is amazing. The end of the game shows that there may be a sequel.
