Amazing video perfectly explained, and it's perfect for me. I'm getting my first pc build, and I'm between the towers 200 and 300. I'm also in between on the 7900xtx 24gb sapphire pulse or 4080 super oc edition. The case is 116.99 cheaper since the 200 is on clearance for 60 and no stand available. Then the 4080 Super oc edition is 30 cheaper as well. I got all appropriate high-end hardware for a steal of a price at microcenter. They both should fit everything but the 200 will have a 280 aio which would save me 50. The 300 would have a 360 would both would be good cpu cooler and I'm doing all thermaltake and amd products. Maybe I need a sponsor for my first video of my channel showing my pc build being done and explained like this. Any notes on thermal differences between the 200 and 300 or do I need to call the oem.
Just 2 questions, 1. Will it an Asus Rog Ryujin III 240 aio? 2. Bit of an odd question, but are the bottom feet removable?# Anyways what a great in depth review.
Thanks flufffy3719!! Yes, an Asus Rog Ryujin III 240 aio will fit on the right side (not the top). You can fit up to a 280mm on the right. Yes, you can remove all 4 feet on the bottom with a single screw for each one, they are very easy to remove....that's not an odd question at all, haha. Good Luck and Have Fun, thanks for watching!!!
Thanks imbarod, I can verify that a mATX board does fit without too much trouble, just a few little things to consider..., I did post the video last week, check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Jyqg-oeNjgY.html Good Luck, have fun!! Thanks for watching!!
I was actually looking at the Tower 100 the other day, I will have to check out your previous review on it. This one whilst it looks quite big seems very restricted cpu cooling wise as you pointed out, it might look good with something like 200mm fan in the top exhausting heat. Thanks for the review.
I built two Tower 100s for customers. I would never do it on my own rig. As you stated, thermals are a slight issue so the fans have to stay ramped up constantly. It is noisy and thermals are still on the high normal side. Now this case... I ordered one for my personal rig. My current setup uses a Hyte Y60, since I am upgrading to AM5 I decided to give this case a go. The fact that I can put a 280mm AIO in here is a game changer regarding an ITX build. If I was you, I would pay a little more for this case, especially since newer CPUs run so hot
Great video! Very in depth which is exactly what I was looking for so I can plan a build in this case. On the M-ATX board fitment. Thermaltake says in their RU-vid video that M-ATX will fit but may interfere with some wire touting and cooling.
Hi Alank009, I used 120mm fans on the top and a 240 AIO. But, yes, you can fit a 280mm AIO on the right side. I has room for a single 140mm fan on the top (comes with a basic one), and a single 140mm fan on the bottom. It doesn't have room for 2 on the top and two on the bottom. If you want a little more room on the top, check out the new Tower 300, it allows for 2 140mm fans on the top as well as up to a 420mm radiator on the right side. I'm working on the video for that, but will be another week or two before I'm done with it. It's a cool case as well....it's available for purchase now, check it out. Good Luck and have fun, thanks for watching!!!
Hi masond482, I'm happy to hear your MATX build went well in this. I did a video on that, I suspect most MATX motherboards would work, what motherboard did you use, just as a reference... Thanks for the report and for watching!!!
If you take out the power supply cover..can you use a 360mm aio cooler??.. It looks like it would fit...or you could even modify the psu cover so you can have both.
Exactly what I was thinking..my tower 200..just arrived... I'm going to try it with my kraken 360.. I wanna see if I can fit an ATX motherboard in aswell with a custom set up..I. Like my motherboard..and I don't want to replace it unless I'm upgrading my CPU too I'll let you know
Probably a dumb question but I dont care. I just built my first pc with this case and used a tuf 4080. Should my bottom fan be intake or exhaust. I have both my bottom fan and top fan set as exhaust and my GPU gets warm on some games. Should i flip my bottom fan as a intake and just blow up to one exhaust fan? Is one exhaust enough?
Hi antonyjharper31, I suspect that board will fit fine. It will be hard to predict on any given board if there will be issues, but Having put an matx board in it, I think most matx boards are doable. (I know you watched the other video, so hopefully that help, report back if you have any issues with it)......Good Luck, thanks for watching!!!
I would love to do a stormtrooper build in this case (Black internals, white externals). Do you know of the corner railings are interchangeable? For instance, if I were to buy both the snow and black versions of this case, could I swap the external parts for a completely white exterior (including the corner railings) and a black interior?
Hi Kahlimer0, I can't disagree with you there. I do like the glass, but as with some of the mid tower cases, having a choice of panels (on both the 100 and 200) would be awesome!! Thanks for watching!!!
I want to thank you for putting a side by side of the tower 100 and 200. I was in the fence with the tower 200, but after seeing it, I can see it’s massive!! That’s a hard no for me. I’ll keep my tower 100 until I find something better.
Thanks battlepowered! I don't blame you, it's a fair bit larger. I do love the tower 100, that's a hard mini-tower case to beat. Good luck, have fun, thanks for watching!!!
