This Valentines Day, we are taking you to the most romantic Scottish town, Gretna Green. The famous destination hosted many weddings ceremonies for those who marry for love, often against their family’s will. The local blacksmiths had performed hand fasting ceremonies at the famous anvil and their service got so popular that they needed to introduce a second ceremony room.
Nowadays you may need to be a bit more prepared to get married at Gretna Green, however the popularity of the location hasn’t changed over the years. Legend says, it means good luck, just to even touch the ancient anvil!
