My friend Robert played slug in this and spike in Class of nukem high. He told me he was cast because he was a bouncer. He went on to own and run Surf Reality a theatre space in the L.E.S. were lots of indie comics got their start.

In the some of the deleted scenes it shows that Juile & Wanda were not killed by Melvin. Instead Wanda's buttocks are extremely burned and bandaged and Julie has had all her hair cut off. Also it is explained earlier in the film by a scientist that tells the public because of his accident with waste he must seek out evil and destroy it.

I work in a pawn shop, and we had a woman bring in a ton of 80s/90s toys. Mixed in were a handful of toxic crusaders action figures. (Which honestly are pretty neat) and it still boggles my mind a little how this movie somehow got transformed into a kids cartoon complete with action figures.

I own all 4 Toxic Avenger films. I really loved The Toxic Avenger as a kid. It was one of my favorite films. I had a Toxie figure as well as a Toxie beach towel.

I read about it and found out it has a musical, a cartoon and a video game. Funny at wikipedia the guy Melvins whole name is listed as Melvin Ferd III Watch behind the scenes of Final Destination 3, the tanning bed deaths. They set fire on a stunt woman for like 26 seconds for the real effect. Flame resistent clothes and gel they tested out that lasts 26 seconds. Chopping Mall is so fun with the bad effects.

Both of my exes hated movies. Well one just didn't care much at all for them, so she acted like she is doing me a favor by going to the movies or watching one at home, while the other would just sit there with a long face until i gave up and turned it off or left the theater. I couldn't stand that, as I have always loved movies. I am happy for you guys James. It is awesome when a couple shares a passion.

I think if toxi didn't know that the middle aged lady was a slave ring leader there would've been more scenes of of toxi killing random people to better convey that. I think they were trying to say that toxi is becoming uncomfortable with how violent his punishments are
