As someone who can't use normal over the counter soaps and shampoos, and who can't use everyday household cleaners and detergents, I stopped wearing makeup years ago. I also stopped coloring my hair. All your perfumes and other beauty products have toxins in them. Some will say they have a toxin, but claim that it is less than the standard allowed amount set by the government. But consider this. You wash and condition your hair with less than the standard allowed. You use your body wash with less than the standard. After you shower, you rub yourself down with lotion which has less than the standard. Then you brush your teeth. Then apply face care products, makeup, hair gels. Now your sink is a mess, and you grab that spray bottle of cleaner to tidy up. You've possibly just used over a dozen items that each have less than what is allowed, but you're building up toxins with each application. I hope nobody has their body go haywire like mine did. At 55 years old, I suddenly started breaking out in horrible itchy rashes, due to all these toxins. Now I use specialty beauty products for keeping my skin, teeth and hair in decent shape. I use only vinegar and baking soda for cleaning. And going to the grocery is heck, because I can smell every scented thing in the store. Everything seems to be toxic to me.
Facts. I've searched for years for a natural deodorant that actually works and lasts. I found some I liked, but those had sodium bicarbonate in them, which eventually gave me rashes and tender lumps that would go away when I stopped. I finally found the best one I've ever used a few years ago, and haven't switched since. It's Claydry Palo Santo. It has clean ingredients, smells amazing, and lasts all day (even partly into the next day, lol). I've put everyone on my family onto it and they all love it.
