im from indonesia and i have this zenix Q hybrid. in here the queue of this car is almost a year, you should buy this asap since even in indonesia we need to queue 1 year. about the fuel consumption, 1:16 would be ideal number. 1:20 is very difficult to achieve IMHO, this is a very refine car that would be a massive upgrade from a diesel innova. even a diesel fortuner GR still not even close from driving experience.
Some people are complaining about why the sunroof and rear infotainment were removed in the PH variant. The Malaysia variant costs 2.4M in PHP, the Indonesia variant with all specs costs 1.8M PHP, while the India Hycross costs almost the same as the PH variant. The Indonesian and Indian units are manufactured in their own country. So the price is not affected by import tax. Imagine putting all the same specs in the PH variant and then pricing it around 2.4 to 2.5M, you will compete with the Mid to Top range variant SUV which most people will not buy into.
Just wished they did a V variant or an e variant of the hybrid not everyone needs captain seats and other luxury amenities. Toyota needs to stop putting hybrids as top of the line models only here in SEA. In the states and JP there are hybrids with hubcaps for wheels.
AFAIK, yung TOTL ng indonesia is 2.2M includes the sunroof, dual rear infotainment, dashcam and the bodykit. yung nakakainis lang di man lang nilagyan ng bodykit ang TOTL na ang mura lang naman yan para maiba sa v variant. tapos sana all black nalang ang interior ng TOTL tulad sa indonesia.
It's bcoz pilipine is a poor third world country and not a special market for Toyota unlike the other ASEAN countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore
I just don't understand why manufacturers keep putting captain chairs in the middle of their top specs! They should give buyers a choice of a bench as captain chairs limit passenger volume! Sure it looks cool, but in a car, passenger volume is a must and manufactures can make bench seats with the same functionality of captains chairs w/o losing passenger volume.
What gasoline octane level is recommended for this innova hybrid? Am curious why the torque level is low. Suggestion. Pls have a car review with 5-6 passengers on board and test the driving dynamics, ride feel, comfort, etc. and compare w/ other MPVs. Innovas are meant to be people carriers.
"Saleswise", this will sell like hotcakes on a 2.8 Fortuner or Grandia tuned engine in the PH market. BTW, your "camera" is fine, your "pare" is ok and your presentation is perfect. After all, it's free! Thank you for this and appreciate the effort. Subscribed.
@@geraldreyes7835 Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive is very solid. Maraming mga Prius sa mundo na naka 10+ years and still going. Hybrid is great. We are thinking of replacing our Toyota Camry 2.5G with the Innova Hybrid.
In the philippines rear drive is ideal specially if you going up the hill & rough road. Front drive won’t last on rough road base on my experience driving front drive
Dealer said 8 year warranty on battery that has 10 year life and 3 years on car. NiMH battery costs 180K now. Also better to understand the fine lines on what battery and car issues that are considered under warranty or not. Will RESALE VALUE afterv5 or more years be affected considering the buyer may possibly replace the battery?
5:09 Fun fact: speaking of minivans, this new Innova Zenix actually shares the same platform and mechanical components with the Noah and Voxy minivans sold in Japan.
Don’t make a big mistake to buy this front drive if you live in the town of rough uneven road or with high hill front drive won’t last. Repairing front drive parts cost you a fortune.
Oo nga bakit walang sunroof? Dapat pag sinabing hybrid Q..ang pagkakalam ng lahat may sunroof na un..kaya pala napapanuod ko d2 na reviews walang nabanggit na sunroof.
You may want to upgrade your camera Sir Reygan.
SoJoo has the same car reviewed at the same spot and kita dun ang dark spots.
@@geraldreyes7835 I'm sorry but I don't like over exposing my shots. Dark areas are meant to be dark, and proper lighting and exposure are meant to show off the correct details.
Why is that? Can you give me an example of a FULLY hybrid 6-7 seater car that is under 2m with an ottoman? Even RAV4 cost more than this. Okavango is MILD hybrid. I am not saying the price is cheap I am saying I was expecting a higher price. They could have added more variants tho.
@@BanTheManofGreedyup I agree the price is spot on. As an owner of a 7seat diesel suv myself, I am actually tempted to upgrade(yes an upgrade) to the zenix cause its just a much better deal than those more overpriced ppvs. I prefer the captain seats too since i seldom sit more than 5 passengers anyway. And in terms of road presence, it actually looks much wider than the Fortuner. Just swap those skinny tires with 60-65 series tires and negtive offset wheels and it would look so good.
@@fullbass1426 aside from that the 3rd row looks comfortable to sit with unlike in a SUV. And compare to a SUV this might actually save you on gas prices. I just hope reviewers can actually borrow the unit so we can actually see the gas consumption.
@@BanTheManofGreed would want too see those real world FC numbers too. I actually prefer the non-hybrid model, as I am not yet into electrification. The m20a-fks has decent power figures and actually one of the most thermally efficient engines currently made by toyota.
