0:00 Intro 0:53 The Ball Brothers Rise To Fame 3:50 The Fall of The Balls 5:50 The Pressure On The Bulls and Hornets 7:30 The Ideal Scenarios for Each Ball
Um this video is kinda dumb.......2 out of the 3 Ball brothers are in the NBA. Thats LITERALLY a 1 in 100,234,009 chance. because basketball has become international. There is no scenario that this family has endured a "tragic downfall" their family legacy is cemented....... they WON!!!
because black woman have problems following black man and they are not patient or built to be behind a long term plan. the sooner black man knows this, the better the future will be for your kids. black women are disrespectful and a man like Lavar with his temper he would end up in prison for punching one in the mouth
With his dad hyping him so much, he really finnessed and got Magic to select Lonzo 2nd overall. Ahead of guys like Jayson Tatum, D Aaron Fox, Lauri Markannen, Donovan Mitchell, Bam Adebayo, Malik Monk. Man dude is made of glass and is a total bust.
3 blk boys wanting to be the next big thing in the NBA and ppl wish and hope they don't succeed 🙏 sad bruh I'm raising 3 boys that play ball I tell them everyday ppl praying for your downfall don't give them any space 💯
The fact that they have made it as far as they have is incredible. Most kids don't make it this far. But they could have been superstars had it not been for their dad. He is a great hype man, but he had too much control. Lonzo figured that out after he got to the Lakers. I guess LeChina James was in his ear...maybe LeChina has done one good thing in his life. Anyway, once Lonzo figured out that he needed to get away from the Big Baller Brand, he was on the path to be who he could have been all along.
man....these boys better learn about Steph Curry's leg and ankle management plan. (things you have to wear, do, and strengthen on when it comes to the legs and feet)
Lonzo is done. LaMelo can come back, and LiAngelo sucks. Lonzo was never worth a shit anyway. LaMelo had promise but he's hurt, and LiAngelo flat out has no game. Overhyped brothers
I'll just put this out there.... Unfortunately we'll see em playing in the Creator League for views.... Not sure if they got the work ethic to get back healthy to play in the NBA
Basketball is a lot more than skills. it's IQ, it's health, it's mental toughness, it's being able to adjust and fit in with your teammates, it's a drive, determination and discipline.
I don't think Lonzo has a future in the NBA due to terrible injuries. LiAngelo is just not good enough to play at the NBA level. LaMelo is currently not playing due to injuries, but he is the only Ball that can have a promising career in the NBA
They defo began too late for the careers they had and the regimen they were on. I don’t do ANYTHING near as hardcore in regards to working out (running / hooping / gym) but I know that A) I need the right nutrition to sustain myself, and B) I need good technique in all sports or I’m gonna hurt myself (running, gym, and to a lesser extent basketball). Early vids of them lifting… scary-bad form that could’ve damaged their bodies and that’s what we’ve seen. Plus the miles of running and the strain of constantly playing basketball (especially on their knees)
Going to be honest the real downfall is the father. I did a lot of reading about that guy and he basically made them focus on the "ball" brand... If only they signed with Nike or any other company, I think they would have way more success...
Lavar Ball wanted the spot light the whole time, but this family were always so arrogant, between the reality tv show, the overpriced and cheaply made brand. The fact Lavar Ball was a total snake oil salesman charging 500 bucks for those store brand specials just to touch on a few points. The whole thing stank and I always thought anybody who believed any shit that came out Lavar’s mouth was dumb as hell.
After hearing of their workout history, it really is no surprise what's happening to 2/3 of them and it's really sad and pretty much their dads fault. So while he should be accredited for their earlier rise, he can also be to their quick downfall by putting too much on them
Melo just got the rookie max extension that might get him potentially a $260 million bag. So we can pump the breaks just a little on this alleged "downfall". The title is terrible. Everyone always wants to tear others down. Best wishes to the entire family. Hope Lonzo gets his knee right even if he never plays again. When healthy, he is a baller.
B.S. Lemelo Ball just signed a max contract for over 200 million and liangelo is hurt but is still getting paid his contract and will also get an extension and u call this falling off , show me where I need to fall
None of them have the talent to be a big nba star tbh. Even without injuries. This is a good example of how people's perception can be influenced by majority and how hype can elevate one's perceived potential. Without their Dad hyping them, none of the press, team and scout would even bother placing them as contenders of becoming an NBA superstar. All of them at most, would just be a role player in NBA or a good bench player.
Their father really placed a burden on them. So sad. They are the poster for the modern celebrity culture. Such wasted talent. The physical abuse, the questionable training, the sneaker issues. So sad.
yeah i feel like their bodies were not built for that early adolescent training and over playing...too many miles on those joints...might be a good case study for future athletes...
Lonzo and Lamelo will be back as soon as they recover from these injuries because they both are very talented ballers and as for Gelo….. well, I only see him making it on a NBA team if he goes overseas and really shows out which is very possible, if he can get steady consistent minutes to flourish.
been rooting for gelo since high school but as I watch him play I've accepted that he may never have the athleticism to keep up in the NBA. since he's only 6'5 he needs to be quicker and have better D, spot up shooting can only help him so much, he kinda played like a big in high school but that's not gonna work
@@yerocrazy you’re right man. Gelo could bully people in the paint in H.S but he isn’t bullying anyone in the NBA. He needs to go overseas, improve his defense and become a sniper again, then he might get his shot after really showing out for like 2 seasons straight. Regardless, all of them boys have already won life, I just want to see them ball as all of them are fun to watch.
@@rapgodreloaded9259 agreed, but I also think with longer and more consistent minutes his shooting surely would improve again like back in the day. Cheers man.
Lonzo and Lamelo have a thin/ small bone structure making them like AD & KD prone to injury. Liangelo just isn't that talented and might as well stake his claim overseas.
Yeah same reason why Giannis still gets constantly injured even improving his strength a lot. While guys like Jokič, Shaq and Wilt never have/had any injuries basically cause they are just genetic beasts. Jokič and Shaq could go on full cake+burger diet and still play 100+ NBA games in a row probably lol.
Lonzo’s NBA career is over unfortunately. It’s such a shame because he had next level passing and vision. He’s really the only brother I actually enjoyed watching.
Every single one of them is soft, and that works against you at the highest level. His kids had and do have talent, but the daddy sucks all the oxygen out of the atmosphere whenever his children are within ear shots. It's unfortunate but big Pappa couldn't take a back seat and enjoy the ride.
This. Especially if Lavar wasn't so obsessed with Lonzo playing in them BBB shoes after it already causing multiple injuries to him maybe this shut would've never happened.
Liangelo playing this preseason had me thinking he was gonna play this year, THAN he’s been not even playing in the Gleague. Ok maybe it’s just me but I don’t get how you can be on the preseason roster but BARELY play in the G league?
Charlotte Hornets did him dirty IMO. Everyone knows Gelo can play, everyone is wondering why Hornets and Swarm won't EVER let him. He's going overseas now, anjd good for him, at least he can get on the court.
Gelo talking about going to NBL to play for New Zealand Breakers. Zo never looks happy any longer, even before those injuries. Melo gonna be just fine.
@@georgelugenalt200 it's cause MJ took Lavar saying he can beat him 1v1 personally and blacklisted Gelo. I know it sounds like a joke but I'm deadass.
i had a dream.. a dream where there was no more balls in the league and no more mention of them.. they just faded into obscurity.. years later we tell the ball story and laugh
Liangelo just needs to transition his game harder to his couple strengths. Mainly just become a spot up shooter. You can find yourself onto any bench in the NBA if you're a reliable shooter. Then try and improve and make your opportunity for more from there. You see how hard Liangelo keeps working despite all the rejection. How can you not want a kid with that much heart on your team.
Tragic downfall??? Lamelo ball is 21 and just made his first all star appearance and is going to sign a 100m+ contract in the next few years. Lonzo is on an 80m contact until 2025, is 25, and he still has plenty of time to heal and improve. Liangelo hasn't been taken off the G league team and his breakthrough is pretty much imminent. They have access to the best doctors and healthcare and will all become healthy. Worst case scenario Lonzo collects 80 mil and doesn't play. Lamelo will fully heal lmao. Imagine making a video about a literal 20 year old who just made the all star team and saying his downfall is coming, you are actually a straight up hater and should be embarrassed
I think their Dad wanted them in the NBA more so then they wanted to be there. why did all 3 HAVE to be basket ball players!? I'm almost certain they have other passions.
Lavar was most likely aware of his own and his wife's genes. He's 6'5 and his wife's like 5'11- 6'0. He knew they would produce tall children. With that being said, he probably didn't want them growing up hearing mfs asking if they played ball, they respond with no, then they get labeled as being " tall for no reason." So he tried to maximize their basketball capabilities. Sad but i feel like it's true.
The only guy who will stay and survive (metaphorically) is LaMelo, despite the injuries, he'll come back next season, probably better, but must be traded from the Jordan-ruled s-hole team to a solid team like the Grizzlies (replacing Temetrius Morant due to the latter's antics and probably ending his own career). LiAngelo is not good enough for the NBA. Lonzo is completely done like Brandon Roy, even though he achieved less due to earlier injuries.
LiAngelo is definitely dad’s biggest disappointment. I feel for Lonzo the BBB shoes destroyed his career and his poor training regime. melo will be interesting to watch, but will just be good player not a star.
And this is why Lavar ran his mouth so much and tried to cash out right as Lonzo was coming into the league. His loud mouth may fool many into believing he was confident, but really he wasn’t. If he really believed his boys would change the game, he’d let their game do all the talking. And no, don’t try and pretend “he just loved his boys” There’s a huge difference between loving and believing in your kids, and being obnoxious, stealing their spotlight and writing checks with you mouth that your boys have to cash out, not you.
This dude is really acting like lamelo wasn’t an all star last year and kept up that level up play when hurt. People overreact about everything and will do anything for a headline. He’s acting like none of them will be in the NBA by the end of next year.
I remember in 2015, my high school Played Chino Hills in the finals, I of course had been out of school For a long time, but as a good alumni, I watched the finals on TV… I thought Lonzo was the best player on the court that night, I thought Lavar was kinda different and awkward, But I felt Chino Hills was in great position to win the title (they destroyed everyone the following season with lamelo joining the team) and then Lonzo fouls out, and now it’s time for LiAngelo to step up and be the man and instead he completely disappeared and they lost in double OT, and from that point on, I have not been shocked at all that LiAngelo has not made the NBA, his brothers got all the talent and he just is a few Steps down
Don’t forget Bozo Ball got drafted before Tatum. And his college rival Fox is flourishing right now. He’s too overhyped and his fans thinking he’s still that good is hilarious. Melo over that clown all day. 🤷🏻♂️
I'm curious why LiAngelo is ahead of LaMelo. Literally all of Gelo's problems began when he stole a pair of designer sunglasses from a shop in China. There are more than a few NBA hopefuls who did extremely stup!d sh!t like this. Many of them actually served probation or even went to prison for it. Almost ALL of them NEVER got a second chance. Gelo got no punishment, quit UCLA a week later, and then, got like FIVE (5) extra chances. Wait... 1. Lithuania 2. JBA 3. Oklahoma City Blue 4. Detroit Pistons 5. Greensboro Swarm ...yeah, five extra chances. And now, it looks like chance #6. The NBL! So no, Gelo definitely competes with Lavar for the bottom of this list. Lavar only takes last place for the way he treated his own wife, the way his failed BBB brand treated Lonzo, and because so many people who would know say it was Lavar who pressured Gelo to drop out of UCLA. 🏀
@@TuNnL lmao i mean yeah when you put it like that he definitely has had lots of chances. i just put him before lamelo cuz I think should come back fine next year and continue where he left off
My memory of the ball brothers is from the funny B/R comic movie and one of the balls was caught in China some years ago because he tried to steal stuff from the shop.
Jello never had the skill set for this level, so he’s gone. Zo’s on The decline, he’s never played a full season and this injury that my wife rehabbed from in three mos., is just the beginning of his eventual landing spot in G league. Melo’s peaked, and the injuries to his already frail body will increase until he’s left with G league talent.
Lamelo improved every year since he’s been in nba despite being hurt for ONE YEAR and being an all star the year prior. People love to just spit, sweet fuck
@@nathanryan4711 …he was an all star cause someone was hurt and decided to give up his spot. When he was healthy, he wasn’t chosen by fans or coaches. He’s brittle and he’s peaked his skill level. Nothing left but to decline cause of brittle soft tissues. He’s not a winner, doesn’t make anyone better, just guns from the 3 line with average to below average %. That’s my take on LaBrittle Ball, hahahahaha
All three are bad and you can blame their dad for hyping them up so much. Also, lets not forget about the BBB shoes. Lonzo is where he is now is also due to those shoes. I remember when them shoes were torn apart after one quarter.
@@Adactylous see you're one of those people who just feed into what you see in the media , Kyrie is hands down the most skilled point guard to touch a basketball why wouldn't young developing players ant to learn from him ? is it because of this false perception of him the media creates for their own benefit ? because that's quite frankly the reason people talk down on him when he's quite literally one of the most down to earth guys you'd ever meet.
A wise man once said: "The ball don't lie"... No truer words ever spoken about players like this. They fooled the public into getting into the NBA, when they were NOT NBA talent. Now they injured and almost out the league. You can fool the people but you can't fool the game
Lonzo is definitely on his way out. His marketability is trash now that he's had three major surgeries on both his knees at only 25 years old. He is clearly an injury prone player considering his very short career and age. LiAngelo was done a while ago. It must suck to be the middle child and the only one not good enough to play in the NBA. Both his older and younger brothers are in the NBA and he's playing overseas; that must be at least a little humbling. Lastly, I think LaMelo has a broght future if he can avoid the injuries. He does seem to be injury prone as well, but this one may be a fluke; time will tell. He is the overall best as far as skills go, the youngest, and has the most remaining marketability. I think he has already peaked and won't go on to be a hall of famer, but he may be able to ride out at least a decade in the NBA and have a career as a bench warmer on multiple teams at a minimum.
I don’t think it’s a fall off. Being an NBA superstar is rare. Just building out a career is a W. If they can stay healthy Lonzo is a good starter Liangelo is garbage and Lamelo Is a multiple time all star and generational wealth which I say is a W
One thing tho lonzo never was any good since he joined, nothing impressive compared to the hype that he had... bold average stats too, very very average. Lamelo will be good.
@@youngboy2pacdrake melo is 21 years old id hope he hasnt reached his prime yet lol. and youre delusional to even mention melo and kobe in the same breath.
Lavar keep tryin control everything like bro your not a physical therapist let then boys get professional help. I’m mad he fired his wife’s therapy after her stroke nd she still not right. Gelo is Tina twin
