Jim Carrey, the most talented actor ever who has never won an oscar which goes to show how bias the academy is. He should of definitely had a few of them by now. He will always be one of my favorites of all time.
I’ll always love Jim. Not just for his funny roles, but for roles like, The Majestic and no. 23. But also because he’s just an amazing human being. I hope he enjoys his retirement. Lord knows he’s earned it. I’m still going to miss him.
I have a lot of respect for this man. They say comedic actors are broken souls. I wish him all the best. He reminds me of Robin Williams. No one knew his pain.
I met Jim thru a friend in 1987 at the Comedy store and he had the twinkle you knew he would be of note. Nothing astounding there was alot of pretty talented comics there in the 80's.Saw him again about ten years at a restaurant with Lauren. He did that chug the bottle thing when the waiter poured a taste. I said hi and he pretended to recognize me but hes just a nice guy. Just saw him at Whole Foods in west Hollywood and he looked like a lost old man, kinda glazed over and stooped for as tall as he is. I said hi and he just kind of smiled and said thanks. What price fame has.
despite all negative stuff that has been happening with him he still manage to make millions smile and brings epic moments that will never be forgotten. im amazed how hard life shaped him into such diamond. hes a great comedian, showmen, jimman. thank You for being there and making us smile!!!
I love Jim Carrey. What a brilliant guy with such a powerful backstory. I’ll always be a big fan of Jim Carrey. The struggle he endured and continues to endure, is real and went way beyond anything included in [this documentary] and I think people tend to forget that sometimes when they see the success, money, and lavish lifestyle that a successful Hollywood career yields. Dig a little deeper and he has quite the story, doesn’t he? Big fan, Jim! 🤘🏼🍻🎬
I remember when i was 13 and me and my dad went to London. We decided to go to the cinema and watch something. I had no idea who Jim Carrey was and was a bit put off from the poster. But we bought tickets and went in. From the first second I sat there, mouth open, amazed over Jim. He really opened a new comedic part of my brain. He somewhat changed me for the better. I love your performance Jim, and I love you. And I feel your pain. Not that you will ever read this, but here's to hoping.
@JimCarrey-xo5cx since In Living Color. Huge talent was so clear. And in his movies, everything Jim Carrey did my brother did first. Sticking out straight horizontal with the ground from a street sign or making his eyebrows dance independent of each other, or jungle noises, the list goes on. He had my brother's humor and the same great big brown eyes. Plus I just love how smart Jim Carrey is. You can't be that funny and that intuitive and hilarious and brilliant without being super intelligent. And I could watch him dance forever. It's mind-blowing how he can make his body do whatever he thinks of doing.
He was one of the actors from Hollywood I just looked up for real entertainment and more. Though I wasn't wary of the kind of toll it could take on him, I can feel it as I get older by every passing day.
I want to see part 2. Jim Carrey is such a good actor and like any person we have our ups and downs, we are human after all. I hope all is well with him now. When my sons saw him in Sonic The Hedgehog they went crazy because they grew up watching his movies. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I hope we do see more of him. The whole family loves The Mask. ❤️
Thats the movie when I first saw him. I never get tired laughing watching it. Didnt know his life's ups and downs but thank God he made it. Hope he is still fine nowadays. I ve seen all his movies here in PH.
How can you not like Jim? Lol. I'll admit that he does put a lot of passion into his roles. He's very enthusiastic. His personality may be a bit much for some, but he really is a great guy
@2:10 That early picture of a him as a child is classic Jim Carrey!😂 Could you imagine having him as a son? You couldn't stay mad at him. He would just have to cracking up!
Ace Ventura is by far one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I think it was the first time I ever laughed so hard I was crying - literally. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jim Carrey is my favorite actor. I actually did a power point presentstion on him for a school asignment in the 6th grade. The Mask is my favorite movie of his. And there are loads of inaccuracies in the movie "Me, Myself, and Ireane" but I still love that movie. I'd love to have a chance to work with him on a more accurate portrayal of Dissociative Identity Dissorder.
When our son was 7, he watched Ace Ventura. For months, he perfected Jim's voice & quirks over & over by practicing in mirrors.... "OH reeealllly" everytime we said something that struck him worthy of a comeback. Once our neighbor came over and asked if we could "keep him down" 😂🌟🤣🌟😂🌟🤣🌟😂🌟
I LOVED ‘In Living Color’! So did my son, he was very young at that time, and always mimicked Jim Carrey, he could do that Pet Detective walk perfectly. 21:55 😂😂😂
Jim Carrey studies people, and even when he was very young, like in the 70s & 80s, he understood more about people & society than most experts do today.
He was my favorite actor as a child, respected him so much! The rough life growing up but still finding happiness within it, that's power. So sad his life has been crumbling and now he thinks of cosmic entity spectacles controlling the world and crazy thoughts. It's always the funny nice people who leads to depression then suicide, hope he does not end up like Williams, wish him luck!
Jim is a damaged person. But who isn't. But each to his own. We all have our own traumas and all have our own issues. AS a Vet, Previous Paramedic, Fire fighter and now Peace Officer, I have my own traumas. I will not criticize Jim for anything that he has gone through. We all have our own issues.
Besides Robin Williams, the only other actor who always put a smile and joy right through my 90s era with his brilliant comical performances. Legendary Actor..
Man, he has to be one of the greats. I really hope he is not going to also be one of those tragic comedians who ends up taking his own life. Every time he show his serious side which is rare, I always thought that he has so much sadness behind his eyes…
Jim is able to portray human emotion & character traits well because he’s an empath and intelligent - most actors are narcissists, even some of the great ones, BUT, they’re only great because they can *mimic* human emotion & character traits well due to the sophistication of their type of narcissism (like a Greater narcissist) and their intellectual intelligence. But with people like Jim, who *know* how emotions & character traits truly feel, and who are also highly intelligent, are the BEST actors.
Look at greatest comedians like Jim or Robert Williams and many others ... You’ll see comedy always comes from a dark place, they know the pain so well and try to make fun of it. I’m glad Jim is enjoying his life and choose to do what he loves, he’s a gift to the world and he deserves to be happy just like how he makes us felt all these years. God bless this wonderful man❤
Jim, they just don't know what to do with the likes of us. I've recently found out that the best cure for depression is trying. Since I've been trying, my world is a much better place. After 40 years, I remembered that I like to paint clothes. I found allies in the political fight. I helped a friend buy a house and set it up just because I'm retired and have the time, and it was all fun! I could have been sitting in my little apartment feeling sorry for myself having to live in a cruel world. Instead, I found ways to make my corner of the world a little better. For one thing, I rescue books from the recycle center and cram the little libraries in town full, so everyone has plenty to read. It's what I can do. If you need ideas on what to do, I suggest you ignore your money and start small. Or you could ask me. I have more ideas than you can shake a stick at.
One of the great physical comic actors of all time, and a fine dramatic actor to boot. Contrast the tour de force that is The Mask with The Majesric. Extraordinary.
What a talent. Jim Carrey is amazing, I have enjoyed every one of his movies that I have seen. When anyone gives so much of himself to his work, there is little left to give to daily life. Jim, I pray for you that God brings you peace that will comfort and heal you, giving your life real joy.
Regardless of his buffoonery -for it is often a mask of genius - we treasure the serious role because we know his acting range is as extensive as his persona. And that his need to be alone for some length of time is an act of recharging - saving those around him from his exhausted neediness, a vacuum, which could probably suck all the energy out of all those he loved and cared for - eventually bringing resentment, discord, and irreconcilable difference. He is one of the most creative talents ever to entertain the masses - and he has paid the full price.
This was my guy lol now I see why my mom introduced us to his movies she bought all of them vhs we know the lines word for word we would re watch them all the time. Ace Ventura pet detective was really good. But yeah after so many years I found out he’s from Toronto like me 😆 🇨🇦🍁
❤❤❤ goosebumps. This is such a confirmation. The first words he said, just before I clicked on this video I said my mantra : whatever Im searching for is also searching for me, the person I am looking for is also looking for me.❤ These first words touched my souls❤
The ex wife saying 10k per month isn't enough for a child (especially in the 90s) is ridiculous. Imagine how that would mess up a kid to be raised to expect luxury cars, security etc. Greed brings out the worst in people
My thoughts exactly. Golddiggers don't deserve to be parents in my eyes. It's one thing to have high standards it's another to believe you can't live off $10,000/month. She crazy as hell.
I’m not sure why channels think they can manipulate or persuade people into giving them likes just so they could see the second part I mean you guys are here by the grace of God and should be grateful for the people who do watch because it monetizes your pocket not mine Essentially what I’m saying to you as you need me more than I need you because you said that you would put out part two after you got 10,000 likes I refuse to like this video even though I did for the pure principle of it
I love Jim Carry, to know about all this pain that has been part of his life makes me sad. I'd love to see Jim do well in all of life, I have no idea how anyone can remain sane and have a normal life with so much craziness always filing his days. I'm pretty sure that loosing both his mom and dad in such quick succession, impacted Jim in huge ways. I think that Jim Carrey is amazing and wonderful. I wish Jim every success in this life, and that he will find the peace that God brings to everyone who comes to know Christ in a personal relationship.
I think Jim Carrey would have been hysterical playing beside Nicole Kidman in Bewitched. He would have made the perfect Darren. It would have been a Blockbuster.
5. Rage and grief debilitate me. It's impossible that this hell is actually my life. My only desire is to die. 6. I am paralyzed by terror and loneliness and trauma and longing. The emotional pain so intense and the darkness so all-encompassing, I feel I'm being buried alive 7. Desperate for escape from the pain of the reality of my life. On every level in every way, I am raped. I don't stop sobbing.
