Great parents? Why was she SA'd then. Where were they? The only girl in a huge family of boys and they didn't WATCH out for her? Doesn't make ANY sense to me. If they forced them to be in show biz, you watch your kids like a hawk so they aren't used and abused. DUH. They had a huge family by choice and worked those kids ragged, and that was NOT ok. George didn't know how to manage the wealth and they ended up owing millions back to shady folks. So he worked them HARDER to pay for his inability to make sound business decisions probably due to not having a grasp of managing their portfolio well.. Sorry not buying what they have sold as their "real" life. She is LDS, why wasn't her 2nd hubby supporting her brood per church tradition. She was the main breadwinner...WHY? Doesn't ALIGN one bit with her faith. I have nothing against the Osmonds, but I find there was a lot of neglect for their kids due to their parents choices, and then Marie went on in marriage #2, had the big brood, worked and suffered abuse from him for her and the kids just to keep up appearances that it was all that and it wasn't? WHY, oh being divorced 2X wasn't looking good for her LDS image. You can NOT tell me hubby #1 was living his best life the whole time alone, as he was a big cheater with Marie, and the reason for her kicking him to the curb. So he is waiting around doing NOTHING all those years, while she was married to #2. Then when that goes bad he comes and saves her from that guy, REALLY? As an LDS man why wasn't he remarried and having another family??? That is the PLAN for those in that religion. But he forgoes all that, not buying it one bit. Then when she comes available and loses her son, he is the man that made it all better??? WHAT???So much doesn't ADD up, not being mean just not buying it. I get they have the same issues we all face, but how come her parents didn't seem to care much for their kids to protect their ONLY daughter from being assaulted. Why did George push those kids so hard to get the $$$. That doesn't seem like a caring dad to me one bit. He lived above his financial means. He couldn't PAY for hearing aids so the kids worked. He couldn't pay for the increasing size of the family so the kids worked MORE and HARDER. Then when they lost it all, he pushed them to get what they OWED paid off plus get them back to their financial status before his bad decisions happened. NOT right. He told Donny if he married (which is thoroughly ENCOURAGED by their religion at that age) he was throwing his life away. Sounds like a loving father to deny his son marriage so he could market his son as single goods. SICK!!
everything has a monetary price on it...she has merched her life, her choice but it is SO sad. Everything was content for a book. Or getting a sponsor (weight loss). Why does it all have to be merched, therapy for most of what she has endured imho is the better choice. But that wouldn't net INCOME, ugh..Fine have the benefit of income from the obstacles, her choice, but so cringy. Ever heard of keeping stuff private, of course not.
