Only true competition reality super fans appreciate this channel, the casual audience doesn’t really follow these kinds of things very closely. But yeah, this is by far the best channel for this kinda lane
Strong agree. I have watched almost every single one of BLM's videos and have been subscribed for a few years. Idk, the quantity of the content just keeps coming. Survivor and BB ranking videos is my safe space lol
@@sawyerscheitler6416 I think some do, for rhap at least. the ones that get attached to players and want to see interviews usually will tune in for those, and those are their videos that do really well. The rest of rhap videos get pretty similar viewership to this channel. In terms of once upon an island, I actually think a large part of his fan base are people who actually don’t even watch survivor. Many comments on his videos are saying how they’ve never watched a single season but they watch all his videos, I think it’s the storytelling aspect that draws random people in. With these channels, that are usually lists, rankings, reviews, and what ifs, only true super fans of a show itself will enjoy those kinds of things
Bergie said on the Jack Vita show that he had a pre-breakfast confessional where he got a murder letter on his chair while holding the shield. He said the reason why they likely did not show that confessional is because he said that he was going to gun for Parvati after this and production likely wanted to highlight Dan's downfall. In short, yeah if the traitors attempt to murder you while holding the shield, you would know.
I feel like when dan got out and peter refusing just killed the season because peters ego becomes such a big point of focus on the show also hampered by that horrible fire circle twist that just limits the choices and kills any pace of the season.
I feel like you’re really underselling Kate and Sheree. Kate was so much fun and her complaining is hilarious as always and Sheree was hilariously clueless.
I felt like Kate was trying too hard to recreate her magic of last season but kinda failed, until she was a traitor it felt like ‘why are you here?’. I’m sure Sheree’s entertaining on Housewives but she was such a dud here. Even if she was clueless they could’ve shown more of her actually being clueless instead she did nothing looking like she’d rather be anywhere else, maybe the edit was just unfair to her
Absolutely agree, but I think production needs to cast him as a faithful. Similar to Dan and Parvati he would be at a major disadvantage starting as a traitor. Hopefully someone would recruit him halfway through the season.
I was really high on trishelle going into the endgame. I was always really surprised that she wasnt murdered for some reason but i appreciated how she realised things others didnt like how it makes sense for dan to throw out a traitors name. Her biggest flaw imo was sticking with the peter group which put that big target on her back but if you were to ASSUME that she went out of her way to bond with kate (she was still hard targeting pheodra) but if we assume the main reason she was kept over john and sheree is cus they felt closer to her and liked her more/thought she could work with them more (which is just wrong???) Then i think that is a big boost to her game, tho i think if the traitors werent just bravo people shed definetely had gotten murdered beforehand. I felt really satisfied with a trishelle win it felt like a big evolution to how she had been previously on the challenge.
For me - UK2 - UK1 - AU1 - US2 - NZ1 - US1 - AU2 - CAN1 I do think all these seasons are better to rewatch in a binge and I think US2 in a binge might get a Top 2 spot.
I agree with you on can 1, I find it much worse then au2 cuz its the same stupidity of au2, mixed with the sloggy strategy of us2, topped off with an unsatisfactory finale. At least in au2 none of the traitors won, that was interesting. here in can1, it just felt so annoying seeing how risky the traitors were playing, and none of the faitfuls pick up even the 2nd traitor going out being even remotely sus. especially with that shield fiasco where they ALMOST dropped it, if not for the winner of the season actually being a player and betraying his partner. admitibly, deserving winner, but it was over the basic strategy. GOD that season sucked
As someone who's watched all versions and seasons of the show they really need to get rid of The Challenges...The show needs to have more social seduction scenes more opportunities for Traitors to scheme and manipulate The Faithfuls.
Tbh the season is mid but I don't understand the people who HATE this season. People seem really upset that the cast ganged up on Dan and Parv, but, what else were they meant to do? It's pretty clear both sucked as traitors and were easy to clock. Did people just want the players to keep them in for fun? It seems that a lot of people can't enjoy a show if their favorites get booted.
This season was great. Got a bit annoying that certain people would not listen to the people that had the correct read but it all worked out in the end.
This season was going so so well until the formation of the Peter Pals and the entire house being against Dan/Parvati. After that point the entire back half of the season turns into a slog and honestly not even fun to watch with a horrible finale. Very sad that a season that was on the path to be an all time great fell off so hard
The finale seemed insanely scripted which was very disappointing. So many decisions that made zero sense and seem like they were just added for good TV.
I’m tired of people saying they were Burnt out. Nobody advised you to watch various seasons across countries. You are from North America so naturally you have two seasons. Of you choose to watch the same Show in various countries that’s on you. It not fair to say burnt out. Not everyone watches all series. That’s just stupid.
I agree with most of your take. With a huge exception of John. To me he was the most insufferable person I have seen in a long time. I couldn’t stand him in the show and then the reunion he was deplorable. Going after MJ for having no right to be mad but not Phaedra. I don’t think MJ should have won but she can feel anyway she wants. He totally invalidated Peppermints feelings and had to inject his stupid opinion on everything.
Listen, I’m not someone who cares what people’s opinions are on issues like this because I’m not a sensitive weirdo… but this just seems unnecessary like what’s the point of commenting this no one cares
