Another great one with Jason Statham is called The Italian Job. He’s part of an ensemble rather than the lead, but it’s such a fun-filled entertaining ride.
The entire fight sequence in the bus yard is amazing. His climbing around fighting in the bus is as close to Jackie Chan as any stunt man ever got in my opinion
I went through a phase once where I'd watch movies with director commentaries on because it was interesting hearing behind the scenes facts about shooting movies, and the fight scene at the end where he dumps the "oil" on himself has an interesting story behind it. Someone on set realized that dumping real oil on Statham would either not look correct on film or maybe it was a health issue, but for some reason they weren't able to use oil, so they instead substituted it with maple syrup. So Statham literally poured a massive trough of syrup all over himself, and then had to act like people couldn't get a grip on him while being covered with a tremendously sticky substance. It makes the whole scene more incredible to watch with that fact in mind.
I hope y'all are going to watch the rest of The Transporter trilogy. Also, check out Crank (2006), Chaos (2005), War (2007), The Mechanic (2011) and The Italian Job (2003).💜
Now you got to check out District B13. The guy that did the stunts for Jason Stratham in this film is the star of that film. These 2 are the 2 best action films of the 2000s.
Now that I think about it, it was very wild I used to have Transporter 1 2 & 3 on DVD that I would watch on repeat growing up. I thought Jason Statham was a bigger deal in the Hollywood scene. Ended up watching Crank and that was a whole experience
Shu Qi, the female lead, didn't speak english when filming this movie. She delivered all of her lines phonetically. She was in another film I am fond of called 'So Close.' It's not the greatest film but there are a couple of ladies kicking but with some endearing moments.
The oil fight scene is NY favorite part of this movie. The second one is pretty good too. The refueled versions, don't compare. Jason Statham was perfect for this role.
Yesssssss thank you for listening to us well me lol for this request Jason Statham is so good in this what legends you two are to watch this I'm buzzing to see Ur reaction here we go
The Transporter trilogy movies were the first I was introduced to Jason Statham and was blown away by the action and his style of fighting. You two should watch Transporter 2 an 3 because I guarantee you'll see more fighting moves you've never seen before! Did you know the main bad guy Matt Schultze who played Wall Street is the actor who played Vince in "The Fast and the Furious? He also played Chupa in Blade 2! Another franchise I think you two would love is the "Death Race" series! But if you do watch them start with Death Race 2(2010), Death Race 3:Inferno(2013), then Death Race(2008), and finally Death Race 4:Beyond Anarchy(2018) because 2 and 3 are prequels and fit the story better.
Honestly? I had never heard of Jason Statham before I saw Transporter. After I did, I was like, "Have the 1980s come back?!?". (and HAD to see the entire Trilogy as they came out!) So good!
madeleine are a French sponge cake that are made in the shape of shells...they have a slight taste of orange because fresh orange is inserted into them. u can get chocolate chip ones as well.
A great movie. I like the old-school action. Yes, there are some FX. But many chases and stunts were done for real and not just with CGI. And Statham is really good in this one. Perfect for his martial arts skills. Quite a career for the former member of the British National Swimming squad as a diver. Then modelling. And then the movie business. His debut in Guy Ritchies "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" is also worth a watch (so is Snatch).
18:31 Okay! That's a rocket launcher that's over-compensating for something! Even the rockets have little shark faces on them!? The bad guy in this movie is hilariously creepy and by trying to tie up loose ends he just brings more attention to it. 🤣
This movie was so underrated when it came out still up there in the great action movies and also the sound track when they’re swimming together after the house blew. This is Luc Besson at its best like work of art The 5th Element
My dad has had a huge man crush on Jason Statham since he saw the Transporter. He's 75 and will still drop everything to see anything starring Statham. The Mechanic with Statham as the lead is a fun watch too.
Octokrool brothers, these are to add to your legacy on RU-vid: (1.) "Blacula".........2.) "Cooley High"........3.) "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate", starring Martin Lawrence). Everyone will enjoy watching you two react to THESE movies!.......Good reaction!
I first watched Jason Statham in "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and then "Snatch". The next time I saw him was in this movie and his action movie prowess just came out of nowhere to me!
You guy are gonna love transporter 2 and 3, Jason statham truly is a master at his craft and the transporter trilogy stands on its own because of the fact. Another Jason statham movie double bill I recommend you watching is the Crank movies, mayhem that just builds mayhem. Loved your reactions to this, can’t wait to see your reaction to transporter 2.
Transporter 2 and 3 are awesome, I think better than 1…can’t wait for you guys to react to them. The Mechanic is also good…so many films with Jason as the lead
When you're done with The Transporter series you must watch Collateral, his Transporter character makes a cameo. Plus it's a badass movie. Added note: The guy who first attacked him when he landed between the two trains is a villain in Jet Li's Kiss of the Dragon. He's one awesome martial artist.
You liked this movie, you absolutely have to react to Crank 1&2. Insane movie. I remember seeing them in theaters and instantly downloaded the ring tone to my phone and used it for years. If you know, you know 😂. Also, he was in a great movie with Jet Li called The One. You should watch that one, too great fight scene in that one.
Yall would love Death Race! There are prequels and sequels to that series, but that was the first film made, and the only one with Statham. (the film itself is a remake of Death Race 2000, starring David Carradine, and also has an early-in-his-career Stallone)
You guys should react to Crank and Crank 2. I know you woukd both enjoy those movies, a little different from other movies but very entertaining. I have only seen 1 channel react to Crank and there were way too many cuts to be that enjoyable.
Hard to go wrong with a Luc Besson, with his action movies, great action, beautiful cinematography, funny and silly, unapologetically bad villains, can make a actor actor/actress, or a model, to be a great action hero and always fun and entertaining (and with deeper meaning if you want too)... read the other sugestions from him... great films (specially like his Joan of Arc's, if you read the originals sources, he did a great job, probably the closer to "true", hard to really know, almost all 2st hand and her legal process)... great for more serious on, The big blue... and he writes great ones, my favorite The Crimson Rivers, great detective story. He also wrote Taken a lot more... i dont know how he can do such films with so low budget, even with the bigger ones... and Curtis he is also a simple guy, look his actress :)) joking not joking :)
Pleasantly surprised by this video. This along side a number of other good action films was a movie I grew up with, watching it a number of times at home since my family bought it on DVD. Lots of fun.
My favorite out of the franchise I think is transporter two Jason is just amazing when it comes to action is just so damn cool as ridiculous as some stuff in these movies might be still gets a 10/10 from me 👏🏾👏🏾 definitely should watch more of his leading role wrath of man is very good
Great reaction guys now y'all need too watch, transporter 2&3. I loved these movies when they first came out,I'm with you guys as far as bad guys ,you got to be able to backup all the talking, another thing I can't stand is when the girl just stands there and screaming the whole time the guy is fighting I'm glad she was actually helpfull. Another movie he's lead in is crank that movie is wild,y'all would love that one.
Oh, hells yeah~! This was one of my fav' action movies from back in the day. Even bought it on UMD for use on my Playstation Portable. Which I still have actually, and came in handy during long night shifts at work. Everything from the action, to the acting, writing, music, and pacing made for a great and entertaining experience, and glad to see ya'll agree. Until the next one, take care and have a good one~! P.S. Also, when ya'll can, I still do HIGHLY recommend "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)", "Broken Arrow (1996)", "Assassins (1995)", and "Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins (1985)" for ya'll to react to. Believe me, you won't be disappointed. 😉👍
