There didn't have to be anything special about the tree. It could have been any ordinary tree. The point is 99.9% of everything was given to us but we had to show obedience by not eating from this one tree. We only had one rule, one law to obey, the rest was all ours. As soon as we ate, we realised we could disobey God and do our own thing. That opened our mind up to the knowledge of good and evil.

Love this video! I always live learning more about God and His Word! A couple other things I've learned about the garden are that the tree of knowledge was put there because God gave them free will and wanted them to choose to follow Him, not be forced to; and by sending Adam and Eve from the garden, He prevented them from eating of the Tree of Life, which would have meant eternal separation from God with no possibility of redemption--our sinful nature would have been eternal!

It was called the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE (of good and evil) in contrast to the TREE OF LIFE. The difference lay in them choosing to live on their own, independent like the serpent, instead of with God. That is why the serpent said, "God knows in the day you eat this fruit, you will be like God, knowing good and evil." In effect, who needs God for living? "Live with me!" And when the woman saw the fruit would make her wise, she ate and gave Adam who ate too. But soon they were going to discover that the serpent did not care for them at all. Cain would kill Abel his brother, . . . until before the flood, violence became so rampant everywhere, with no respect for life, that for the sake of peace, God brought the curtain down on that generation. The waters returned from the heavens and came back over the earth and washed them all away. Except for Noah and his family.

I really love the longer videos. I'm a girl trying to become a more godly woman and you're being a really good role model for me. I thank the Lord for you. Whenever, I feel distant from God and don't want to spend time with him somehow I find the ability to press your videos. God is so good.

The biggest problem we Westerners have when reading the Bible, is trying to apply Western logic to a book written by Eastern-thinkers. When we think of "knowledge" we think of head-knowledge. But to an Eastern-thinker, it's experiential knowledge. Which is why it says Adam knew Eve, and she bore a son. He experience far more than head-logic there! So, how do you "know" good AND evil? It's an experiential thing. It's partaking of both, and then knowing intimately what each feels like. God didn't want us to have to deal with experiencing all that comes with evil. Guilt... pride...fear...hate...loneliness...rebellion...selfishness... This is KNOWING evil.

The idea of the fruit being an apple is actually much more interesting. The Latin words for apple and for evil are the same word, so when Latin became the main language in the church, the fruit of this tree became to be viewed as an apple. Also, on the first part of your video, in Dutch there's this word ownwisdom/selfwise (eigenwijs(heid)). When someone doesn't want to listen to anyone's advice, but wants to do it their own way we call this person 'ownwise'.

I would also say that to know God means to be one with him and him one with us. His desire is that we would be one with him and with all believers. That is his prayer in John 17.

In judaism, the first time they mention sin is when Cain is murders Abel. The late Ravi Zacherias, thought that it wasn’t a choice of knowing good evil, but it was that we wanted to be like G-d to determine what is good and evil. It’s just two different thoughts or perspectives.

“I never knew you” still scares me in a way today. Even though I’ve clearly declared my belief in him on a day that the devil literally tried to prevent from happening. But i believe there is so much confusion about God today that one cant help but wonder if you’re hitting the mark accurately.

Some people speculate that the "fruit" eaten by Adam and Eve was a "fig". Because when they realized they were naked, they tried to sow "fig leaves" together to hide their nakedness. The assumption then is that if there were fig leaves available to sow together then maybe the fruit they ate was the fruit of a fig tree. If the fruit was a "fig," then it would provide more insight into why Jesus "cursed the fig tree." Jesus said, "May no fruit ever come from you again. And immediately the fig tree withered" (Matthew 21:19). Thus in a way Jesus might have been communicating His desire that humanity would never elect to partake of bad fruit in the future.

In Hebrew the word for serpent was "Nachash" which means whisper, seduction. It's also a synonym for "Seraphim" which is the highest rank of angelic classes as they are very close to the throne of The Most High. As we know, Lucifer was a Seraph meaning that he was part of the most powerful angel class in the kingdom of The Most High. But he rebelled and was expelled from heaven. The Most High knew that Satan also known as The Dragon or The Ancient Serpent, he had access to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and that is why God wanted Adam and Eve away from there. When Adam and Eve decide to disobey God, Satan succeeded in seducing them by promising that he would give them a fruit that would make them like God. What happens next is that their eyes were opened and they noticed that they were naked, that is, something has changed genetically and now they both have desires of the flesh. So I think the first adultery ever ,happened in The Garden of Eden, yes Lucifer seduced Eva and had sex with her. Soon after, she had it with Adam too. That's why The Most High curses the serpent's seed, that is, it cursed the Satan's offspring. God also put enmity between the seed of the woman (Habel) and the seed of the serpent (Cain). They had to be expelled immediately because their genetics were no longer compatible in that place, so they are coated with flesh skins, that is, they lose their glorified body and gain the body we know nowdays, made of flesh and bone. To conclude, Eva had a super-fecundation and twins are born from different parents. Adam + Eve = Habel😇 Satan + Eve = Cain😈. Now it makes more sense why Cain killed Habel, like father like son.

One thing on God overreacting: God actually says that He "kicks them out" of the garden so that they would not eat of the tree of everlasting life and be stuck in their sinful ways for eternity. He removed them from the garden so that they could accept salvation from Him, die, and then, when eternity comes and they are fully sanctified, they can eat of the tree of life on new Earth and spend eternity with Him. (This is in Revelation btw)

You make a really good point in saying that when the serpent said to Eve “you will be like God” (Genesis 3:5), Satan was repeating what he had said before during his rebellion in Heaven, “...I will be like the Most High.” (Isaiah 14:14). Thanks for a great Bible study.

The rebellion began with the dinosaurs at the time of Pangea when they began to devour each other. Satan wanted God's creation to destroy itself. "The entire law is fulfilled in a single decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out, or you will be consumed by each other. So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 15:14,15,16) God made Heaven & Earth, black & white, male & female to be united not divided. We are to love one another and treat others the way we want people to treat us. Yet Satan has people fighting in the streets and at war with each other. Even if we keep hearing about revival and the Great Harvest at the end of the Church age.

It's not the " tree of knowing good and evil", rather, " knowing the fruit/result of good and evil"

It is most refreshing to find born again believers helping explain misconceptions about the Bible or things of God using His Holy Word. It is also a shame that for some of us to grow or develop a true relationship with God Through his Holy Spirit we have to be brought down to our lowest point. The tree of knowledge of good and evil in Eden, is also the same tree of life in New Jerusalem. God can do whatever he wants. 1) just having the knowledge from God to Adam do not eat of the tree was sufficient enough. 5.25; Lady, you are putting words in God's mouth. HE TOLD Adam not to eat of the tree. Adam, head over his wife, told the woman not to eat of the tree. The Devil went TO THE WOMAN first. Then Adam, who was with her, they both ate of the fruit. 6.27; that's why God gives us pastors after his own heart. To feed us ( the church ) knowledge and understanding.

Another viewpoint of this tree is that God placed it in the garden in order for us to have a tangible way to love Him back...by means of choice in the midst of perfection. Otherwise, He could have created robots which would autonomically avoid evil. it's a profound way to look at what love is.

All records of your sins have been incinerated by the blood of Jesus when He cried out, "It is finished!" (John 19:30). When God looks at you today, He sees you covered with Jesus' blood and completely righteous. Only the devil, you yourself, and the people around you will bring your sins to your remembrance. So when you are weighed down by the mistakes of your past, run to God and lean on His grace! Why? For He will be merciful to your unrighteousness, and your sins and lawless deeds He will remember no more. This is the main clause of the new covenant of grace! This is His Word!

The fruit was a choice of to obey God or do the wrong thing, (To live or to die that is the question). To choose to know someone is to experience fully, and we have now a curse of knowing Good and evil. So we know depression, sickness, death, and we know good when we help others, love, and share. Adam and Eve accepted the knowledge of good and evil therefore they were contradicting God's Word which is impossible by creatures without free will. But God is without cause to do evil or to be unjust So by choosing evil, we were required to conceive sin (like touching a stove, you get burned) since humans cannot bear the burden of evil, only God could do that and only God can undo the curse of loving sin.

I've studied this, and I decided that we really don't know what the "serpent" looked like when it tempted Eve. I believe the writer of Genesis called the creature "serpent" based on it's description after it was cursed, not before. We don't know what it looked like before it was cursed, but just that it was a "crafty" sentient life form, and not so revolting so as to not be able to gain Eve's trust. Perhaps this life form's descendants perished in the flood and we assume a snake just because the end of the "serpent" is crawling on it's belly. Of course, all these drawings of snakes wrapped around trees talking Eve about an "apple" just serve to make people assume things before objectively reading the text and thinking for themselves what is really there and is not.

In verse 2 the word “waters” refers to Semen and the word “face” as turning (properly down) (think opposition). According to Strong’s Concordance, the word “image” means to shade; a phantom; (figuratively) an illusion; a representative figure, especially an Idol! I think that you can see that this is Satan’s Seed! In Genesis 2, The Lord creates Adam out of clay and gives him the breath of life (a Soul and a Spirit). How many people have noticed people walking around with a Domino’s Pizza tattoo? Take a better look at the logo and the blue die is 2 (male and female from Genesis 1), and a red die with a 1 (Adam)! Since they know this information, you can assume they are Satan’s Seed! In Genesis 3:3 the text “neither touch it, lest ye die” the word “Touch” means to lie with a Woman! When Eve said that Satan beguiled me, it means seduced! If you look up any references of Woman, comes up as Adulterous! The Truth is that Satan seduced Eve and was the father of Cain, while Adam also knew her and is the father of Abel! They were Twins, just like we are living in a Twin System! He is The Angel of The Church of Philadelphia! Before you say anything, before he was saved, he was an Artist who works with metal and grinders, and uses Light as the Media to display his creations! The Lord had instructed him to buy a shipping container and decorate the entire thing with things from end times prophesy. While he was just finishing the container, he got a notice from the city that he had to move the container! He had no place and eventually someone offered him a lot to put it on. Right after he got rid of that one The Lord instructed him to buy another one! He did the same thing. One of them had the judgment seat! Very very good. Thank you. I struggle with knowing God. He is so big and so very complex. But, I do have faith in Him and know that I trust Him and put my expectations in Him and not this earth or its people. Most of all, He loves me more than anybody ever has. I feel so blessed and well taken care of and so secure. I need Jesus only and everyday I separate more from the world. I read the Bible and am blown away by all that He created and did. He is telling a story that He will finish someday, and bring us all Home. I chose Jesus and try to follow Him and resist temptation. I rely with my whole heart and soul on His promises. Fun fact about the apple. The word apple originally just meant a tree fruit. So when the Bible was first translated into English, apple would have been a valid translation.

Many aspects of the Garden of Eden story are symbolic. For instance Satan appearing as a “snake” is him attempting to portray himself as a savior. When Moses raises the serpent on the staff for the children if Israel to look at and be healed he was symbolically lifting Christ as the future Savior.

Father God, in agreement with this message I loosen the word of genesis 3:1, 2 corinthians 6:14-15 for myself and opponents to cast out and bind all doubt of listening to God upon no return in my life while not being unequally yoked with an unbeliever, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

Whom are our Father's 'Two Greatest Councils of Old'? Careful to teach things from a place believing your "puzzle piece" is the entire 'picture'. You are correct in saying, that 'Tree' is NOT what you think...

The forgiveness of our sins is not something we only need to know at the beginning of our Christian walk when we accept Christ into our hearts. The forgiveness of sins is the very foundation of our belief. We never graduate from understanding and appreciating this truth. No matter how much you grow spiritually, you still have the flesh in you (the part of you with sinful desires, the part of you that still sins). Even the most spiritually mature, like the apostle Paul, still had to deal with the flesh daily. “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing . . . ” - Romans 7:18 KJV But the good news is this: Because we are in Christ Jesus, God doesn’t see us in the flesh anymore. We have the flesh and it will be a part of us until we see Jesus face to face, but the flesh is not us. It is not who we are. God doesn’t see us in the flesh, so we should not tie our identity to the flesh either. “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you . . . ” - Romans 8:9 KJV GOD SEES YOU NOT IN YOUR FLESH BUT IN THE SPIRIT. God doesn’t identify you in the flesh; God identifies you in the Spirit. And in the Spirit, you are the righteousness of God in Christ; you are a new creation! That doesn’t mean you will not have wayward thoughts and sinful desires anymore (that is part of the flesh). But know that even when you do, you don’t have to identify ourselves with them. We are to judge our behavior by our standing, and our standing before God is that we are the righteousness of God in Christ now and forevermore. Never judge your standing according to your behavior. Your standing before God doesn’t fluctuate depending on what you do or don’t do. God doesn’t see as man does. Man sees with limitations but God sees beyond human limitations, and what He sees is most accurate. What He sees is reality. So often, we are ensnared in the realm of the visible and we identify ourselves with what we can see. But God doesn’t see the way we do. See as God sees! The more you see yourself as a new creation, completely forgiven of all your sins in Jesus Christ, the more sin loses its power over you (Rom. 6:14). How do we practice seeing as God sees? Even if you had a bad day and you feel as if you have fallen, let the feelings pass. You don’t have to dwell on them. Remember that when God deals with you, He deals with you as if you never sinned before because He sees you righteous in Christ. Knowing this will not make you want to sin more, but it will cause you to fall in love with Jesus more and live above sin effortlessly. “Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.” - Romans 4:6-8 KJV We are living in light of what Jesus has done for us at the cross. Today, we enjoy the blessings of our sins being forgiven, knowing that the Lord will not impute sin to us. It isn’t because God has gone soft or compromised on His holy standards. The word “impute” means to credit to an account, to assign a value to it. Today, God does not impute sin to us because He imputed all our sins to Jesus Christ at the cross, and He credited Jesus’ righteousness to our accounts. “Shall not impute sin” - The phrase “shall not” in the Greek is a double negative. Never will God ever impute sin to you. Will this produce a life of carelessness and licentious acts? Definitely not! Instead, it will draw you closer to God. It frees you to draw near to Him without fear. How wonderful is it to be in the presence of someone who doesn’t look at your faults? Instead, He sees the best in you. One way the Lord loves us is by seeing us in the Spirit, not in our flesh. HOLINESS IS SEEING THE WAY GOD SEES AND SPEAKING THE WAY GOD SPEAKS. In our daily lives, we will still experience the springing up of sinful desires. It happens to the greatest saints of them all, but we are not to harp on it and dwell on it. We don’t have to obey and submit to the desires. The flesh is in all of us but we are not the flesh. Choose to acknowledge the right thing. The more you acknowledge yourself in the flesh, the more you will act out in your flesh. The more you choose to acknowledge yourself in the Spirit, being forgiven and righteous in Christ, the more you will become like Jesus. God’s Word encourages us to see the people around us in the Spirit as well; see fellow believers as righteous in Christ (see 2 Cor. 5:16-17). Acknowledge them in the Spirit for that is how God sees them. Likewise, practice this in your marriage. If you acknowledge your spouse’s flesh, their flesh will acknowledge your flesh, and this becomes a vicious cycle. Learn to see your husband or your wife the way God sees them-a new creation, righteous in Christ. This does not cause people to sin more. As we learned in last week’s message, the one who knows he is forgiven much will love much. Believing your sins are forgiven produces moral excellence, love, and self-control “But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness . . . For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.” - 2 Peter 1:5-9 NKJV We all want to be morally excellent, to possess godly character traits like virtue, self-control, and perseverance. Yet many times, we find ourselves lacking. The Bible puts it simply: we lack these godly attributes because we have forgotten that we have been forgiven, that we have been cleansed. Therefore the converse is also true: when we are conscious that we have been forgiven for all our sins-past, present, and future-we will not live a licentious life but instead live holy lives effortlessly. There are those who preach strongly on morality, love, and self-control, yet without realizing that they are just the fruits of the gospel of Jesus. Preaching the gospel will produce the highest form of moral excellence. The heavenly character of Christ will be seen in those who hear and believe. “for he with whom these things are not present is blind, dim-sighted, having become forgetful of the cleansing of his old sins;” - 2 Peter 1:9 YLT “blind, dim-sighted” - People who have forgotten that they are forgiven are seen as blind and dim-sighted. We see this in the Old Testament. The reign of the judges ended with blindness (with Samson). The reign of the kingship of Judah ended with blindness (with King Zedekiah).

The Bible never specifies what the Fruit was on the Tree of Good & Evil, but all thru the Bible it speaks against Strong Wine from grapes.. Fig Trees & Grape Trees are common in Israel and the High Priest had Pomegranates on his robe, but there aren't any apple trees in Israel.

I grew up with very low self-esteem, having been labeled the difficult child in my family. I was an unplanned baby, and my parents already had one child-a girl, so they really wanted a boy. They were disappointed when I turned out to be a girl and even considered giving me to a paternal family member who did not have children." "My dad comes from a very cold, strict family, and he has a very bad temper, so I grew up naturally fearful of him and always felt like I was walking on eggshells around him. My mom also grew up in a household where she had not received love. Both my parents are extreme perfectionists, very organized, and raised us with military discipline and no compassion." "Thus, I could never relate to God as a Father. God was unapproachable and sitting with a lightning bolt ready to strike me whenever I wasn't good enough, didn't pray enough, or wasn't obedient enough.I was under the impression that God was only pleased with me when I obeyed the law, that I never met His expectations, and I was always under condemnation." "Since encountering your teaching resources, the veil in my life has been torn. For the first time, I am free. I no longer walk under the heavy burden of condemnation. I learned that God loved us first, and I can now have a love relationship with my heavenly Father and Jesus." "I have experienced victory over fear and sin that kept me captive for years-not by trying to be obedient, but by just learning that my sins have already been forgiven on the cross. And no, I am not sinning more now. I am actually overcoming more and sinning less, and I have a grateful heart for what Christ has done on the cross." Do you feel as though you are never good enough, can never do enough and be obedient enough for God to love and acceptyou? Do you feel you are always living under perpetual condemnation? Perhaps you can't relate to God as a loving Father because you've never experienced the love of your earthly father or because your own father has hurt you terribly. My friend, I pray that as you begin to meditate on today's verse, you will supernaturally experience the intimate love of your heavenly Father in a deep and personal way as never before. I pray that this experience will heal, renew, restore, and transform you in a spectacular way because His love for you is nothing less than spectacular.I encourage you to take some time each day to get the revelation of your righteousness in Christ deep into your spirit. Meditate on it and declare it every day. It will put courage in your heart and bring an unshakable peace to your soul. It will energize your faith when you pray and give you a confident expectation to receive good things from your heavenly Father. I believe that's why our heavenly Father, in knowing the things that we need daily, tells us not to worry about them. What are we supposed to do then? We are to seek first "His [Jesus'] righteousness"-the righteousness that He has given us-and all the things that we need will be added to us. Beloved, when you know that your right standing with God always puts Him on your side, every fear will melt away like butter on a hot day. For if God is for you, who or what can successfully prevail against you (see Rom. 8:31)? Grace is the only thing against which the devil has no defense. If you are living by your self-effort to earn God's approval, the devil has power over you because he can always point to something that you have not done. This gives him dominion over you. If you claim God's protection and healing based on what you have done, the devil, who is a master accuser, just has to point to one of your failures, and all your faith implodes. You will disqualify yourself mentally and inwardly from receiving whatever you might be trusting the Lord for. But grace qualifies us for protection. Because Jesus paid the price, we who are in Him have a right to walk in divine health and protection. When the devil accuses you, saying, "How dare you believe God for protection, when you are (he goes on to list your failures)," you just have to point to Jesus' blood, which has paid for all your failures. With grace as your basis, the God of peace can reign over your fearsand impart to you unshakable faith for His protection! Something else happens when you understand His grace-you will also grow in your understanding of how perfectly loved you are by your Father in heaven. God so loved you and me, He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross on our behalf, carrying all our sins upon His own body so that today, we can come boldly to His throne of grace. He did it so that today, we are not as sheep without a shepherd, but we are so deeply loved and cared for by our Abba Father. We are His children and when we call on Him, He WILL answer. We have a God who demonstrated His love for us while we were still sinners-when we had nothing to offer Him but our brokenness, our shame, our sins, and our disqualifications! Oh what perfect love! The Word of God says, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he whofears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us" (1 John 4:18-19, boldface mine). Are you fearful today? Ask yourself this question: Do you know how much God loves you? You see, you can't reason away fear. But when you have a revelation of His perfect love for you, every fear in your life will be cast out. satan before his fall didn't look like snake, but a beautiful Cherub, who after his corruption lost his beauty and splendor. Second thing is that the animals before the fall were able to communicate with the people, but after the fall this was restricted physically. Not completely! Third the snake didn't look like what it is now, but it was cursed by God and took it's current shape.

So glad we really don't know what fruit it was. When I was a little girl, I was told I was evil because I loved apples. I was constantly ridiculed and judge for it. Lol...the people that did that to me are professed saved, born again christians. And guess what they still believe the forbidden fruit is an apple, and continue to judge people for eating it. They think they are wise, but display their foolishness. Their example really does destroy any idea of becoming christian for the average person. I personally love Jesus, the scriptures, and all the studies available, however I absolutely refuse to go to church and become a part of any professing group, you can not trust them. That is my life long experience at the age of 60. My biggest problem I think is I bottle things up when I am in pain then do something stupid and it comes out at the wrong time

The Three Pillars As you may know: the word apocalypse means "revealing of that which is hidden". The sources of information, in this world, will reveal nothing unless you are aware of some basic facts that allows the Holy Spirit to guide you toward fullness in understanding. Some are already aware of these things - but I'll clarify them for those who are unaware or unsure. These basic facts including: 1) The Truth about Sin 2) The Nature of Reality 3) The Name of the Most High The Truth About Sin The scripture tells: us God warned Adam to not partake of the tree of knowledge of good and evil - because it was lethal to the soul. This can be clarified as: Tree = source of information Knowledge of good = truth Knowledge of evil = lies Fruit = doctrines / theories etc Partake = digest and believe Sin = delusion (spiritual death) Sin is described as"missing the mark" in scripture because this is when a soul seeks to justify wicked behavior (using excuses that are of a delusional nature). This is to say: the scripture is primarily concerned with the development of spiritual children (which means it is an attitude adjustment handbook). To be in sin is the same as saying: a person has embraced a state of delusion in which they convince themselves they are righteous or chosen or anointed etc. Therefore, we must take care not to digest and believe anything that has the mixture of lies and truth. The Nature of Reality All of reality has been established in duality - from the moment God created the Heaven and the Earth all the way through to modern day where people are double-minded. Indeed, the duality is everywhere - so we are subjected to philosophies, ideas, doctrines, theories, religions that all contain the mixture of lies and truth to some degree. Duality In Scripture The Word of God is like a double edge sword, having duality, that can be interpreted correctly or incorrectly depending of the attitude of the reader. Yahusha told us He spoke plainly - so we can learn how to use the sword effectively (after we appreciate the duality in scripture). For example, the scripture says Mary was found to be with child before they came together. This can mean: 1) before Joseph and Mary had sex or 2) before Joseph and Mary were married Those who study the scripture with perfect humility will come to understand: Joseph was visited by an angel twice (for different reasons) - and this will reveal the correct interpretation. Duality In Science Delusion is defined as, an idiosyncratic belief or impression maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument. Who decides what is an idiosyncratic belief? Well ... science has claimed authority on the subject of what is regarded legitimate belief or idiosyncratic belief - because it has established the mechanism for scientific enquiry which is considered scrupulous. Science achieved this by integrating the following idioms: 1) Science does not deal in proofs. 2) Theories are "provisional truths". 3) Science is self-correcting. These phrases are paradoxical. An institution that does not deal in proofs is a religion that deals in beliefs - that may be legitimate or idiosyncratic. A theory 'provisional truth' is an idea that is accepted as factual (legitimate belief) until falsified (as an idiosyncratic belief). The phrase "self-correcting" means science is aware its beliefs may be idiosyncratic - but they are considered legitimate until falsified. This means: science is perpetuating a faith in every theory being legitimate - until they are falsified as idiosyncratic. In other words: science fosters theories that contain accurate and inaccurate information - with the reassurance the process of proofing roots out error. This "reassurance" leads people to accept unproven theories as "provisional truths" and arguments, within the scientific community, should include determining the difference between direct and indirect evidence. Duality: In Conclusion Scripture has duality which can lead the haughty to create false doctrines - that contain truth and lies. Science has a methodology that allows the biased to create idiosyncratic beliefs - that contain accurate and inaccurate information. Both of these have caused delusion. This is not to say scripture is the tree of knowledge of good and evil - but it has a duality that allows people (trees) to set roots and preach false doctrines. Likewise, science has taken a path toward creating theories that exalt ancient mystery religion - where people (trees) set roots to preach idiosyncratic beliefs. In short ... people have established institutions (religions) using science and / or scripture incorrectly to assert their own understanding as truth. The point is: these things, I have spoken of, are drawing attention to the fact - many things have been hidden - specifically for the last generation to acclimate and embrace the apocalypse. The Name of the Most High The Name of the Most High is said to be unutterable and ineffable - not because we are not allowed to speak it - but because it cannot be spoken. It can only be observed in the way we abound in the love of Christ - which means it is exemplified by walking in perfect humility before the Father. The scripture tells us we are to place the Name in the forehead - which is to give first consideration toward the manifestation of the Hallowed Name (just as Yáhusha did before us - re. John 17:6) - to avoid creating any kind of religion. He told us to love one another as He loves us so the Father may know He (Yáhusha) loves the Father in Heaven. Indeed ... there is no need for any religiosity - when we emulate Yahusha. Placing the Name in the forehead includes taking care to avoid anything that contains the mixture of lies and truth. This requires effort and practice to master - because we need to take care with our thoughts as well as our deeds. This brings me to my final word: Beware the leaven of the Pharisees, which is (basically) a Messiah Complex, because it convinces a soul it is annointed to preach the Word of God. This is a highly specialised occupation in which it is easy to stumble and cause others to stray. The sword is given to those who seek to circumcise their own hearts - rather than engage in theological debate or deliver heartfelt sermons. The elect, who graciously accept the gift of life, have nothing to prove - except they embrace the peace of our Lord and Saviour. It is wiser to elevate the Word of God by recommending we study the scripture in perfect humility - while demonstrating perfect humility in our ways - than run the risk of making mistakes when explaining scripture. By all means: sow seeds - but let the Holy Spirit bring a fellow servant to full understanding. On that note ... I am a Christian and I believe in God and Jesus, But it is really hard to believe when I have doubts. Sometimes I can’t help but wonder if everything in the Bible is true or if former governments would alter the Bible to fit their nation’s needs.

18:31 God sent Adam and Eve out of the garden because, had they stayed, they would have also eaten of the tree of life (meaning that they would be eternally separated from God, not just temporarily!) This is a great demonstration of God's grace and mercy

A friend of mine read various Dead Sea scrolls about adam and eve. Building on how generous God was with them. God had to bring them both back to life many times because they killed themselves out of guilt, for what they had done in the garden. God restored them and told them they were part of a larger story and they were important. Can you imagine how awful they felt screwing up God's plan? No wonder they killed themselves. God is gracious.

when god says, the day you eat of it you will die, simply means at that time they will become mortal. also ... there were actually two commands. not to eat of the tree. but also be fruitful and multiply. the fact is they did not know how to fulfill the second command, without breaking the first command. thus, sin was going to be introduced to humanity, one way or the other. and sin had to be introduced to humanity in order for humans to chose to be good.

One of the most overlooked parts of this story is the Christophany of Adam eating the fruit when he didn't have to. Adam took the fruit/sin knowing God didn't want him to. But he saw his perfect "bride" changed by sin and chose to take on sin. Isn't that what Jesus did for us, his bride? Genesis is fascinating, but only when read slowly with thought.

Pastor Prince encourages the leaders and pastors listening: God isn’t demanding from you, He knows your flesh but God is telling you, “I am your supply.” Acknowledge His supply! When God gave the Ten Commandments at the foot of Mount Sinai, 3,000 people died. But on another mountain, Mount Zion, God gave His Spirit and 3,000 people were saved. The letter kills but the Spirit gives life! Believing your sins are forgiven is the key to being led by the Lord from within Today, we live under the new covenant of God’s grace. The prophet Jeremiah prophesied in Jeremiah 31 about the new covenant:  “And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,” then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.” - Hebrews 10:15-17 ESV The threefold clause of the new covenant: “I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts” - You will experience being led by the Lord daily. God will write His will on your heart and guide you from within. “I will be their God, and they shall be My people” - You shall be taken care of and protected by your God. This denotes the greatness of God and a people who are provided for, healed, and cared for by their God. “all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them” - Here, to “know” is the Greek word “oida,” which means to know intuitively, to know the Lord from within. All these are possible because of this final clause: “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” - Hebrews 8:12 NKJV It will be unjust for God to punish our sins in the body of Jesus Christ and to punish it again in our bodies. Because Jesus has once and for all atoned for our sins, God will not remember our sins anymore. Instead, we get to enjoy all the blessings and the benefits of the new covenant He has cut with us! Believing your sins are forgiven gives you the faith to believe God for His healing and provision Joseph is one of the clearest types of Jesus in the Old Testament. Like Joseph, Jesus was loved by the Father but rejected by His Jewish brothers. Like Joseph, Jesus was betrayed by His own. Although he was rejected by his own, Joseph became a blessing to Egypt. Similarly, although Jesus was rejected by His own, Jesus became a blessing to the Gentile nations of the world who have accepted the gospel. There came a time when Joseph’s father, Jacob, passed away. Joseph’s brothers became terrified that now that their father was gone, Joseph would unleash his wrath on them for rejecting and betraying him all those years ago. This is what happened: “ . . . 'Thus you shall say to Joseph: "I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you." 'Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father." And Joseph wept when they spoke to him . . . Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.” - Genesis 50:15-21 NKJV The brothers never actually believed that Joseph forgave them, and Joseph wept when he realized this. What made Joseph weep back then is the same reason our Lord Jesus weeps today: when His brothers (a picture of believers today) do not believe that He has forgiven them. Do you ever entertain the thought that Jesus only forgave you partially? Friend, when you don’t really believe that the Lord has truly forgiven you of all your sins, it grieves His heart because He loves you and He fully paid for your forgiveness. If you cannot believe you have been forgiven, you cannot believe the Lord for healing. You cannot believe that God will provide for you if you still believe that maybe there’s something you haven’t done enough to earn His forgiveness. His forgiveness is a gift! “I will provide for you and your little ones” - Unless we believe that all our sins are forgiven, we won’t have the faith to believe that God will provide for us in this time. The truth of the forgiveness of our sins in Christ is crucial. It is not just for the beginning of our Christian lives, it is the foundation and the source of all our blessings. “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgive all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,” - Psalm 103:1-3 NKJV Without believing that the Lord has forgiven all our iniquities, we cannot fully believe that He is the Lord who will heal all our diseases. The Lord can be grieved when we forget we have been completely forgiven in Christ. By the same token, when we believe that all of our sins have been forgiven in Christ, the Lord is gladdened. The Lord is so pleased when you are secure in the fact that your sins have been fully forgiven! And when you know that you have been forgiven much, you will also love the Lord much. Pastor Prince prays for the following conditions: Those who are fearful of contracting cancer Heart condition Headaches Pain in the back Pain in the neck/stiff neck Knee condition Pastor Prince leads the congregation to pray this prayer: “Lord Jesus, I thank You that You are my righteousness and You are my holiness. And teach me Father, and remind me when temptations come that I am not that temptation, I am not the flesh, that is not the real me. Father, give me the grace to know there and there, Lord, to identify myself as I really am in Your eyes, Father. Thank You, Father God. Father, I thank You that all my sins are forgiven through the blood of Jesus.” Closing prayer “The Lord bless you and your families this coming week. The Lord bless you with the blessings of father Abraham, the blessings of Deuteronomy 28-blessed coming in, blessed going out, blessed in all that you set your hand on to, blessed is the fruit of your body, your children are blessed. Amen. Your enemies come against you one way and flee before you seven ways. The Lord will make you the head and not the tail. You'll be above only, and not beneath even during this time, the blessing is not dependent on the times. You are blessed. The Lord keep you and your loved ones, your families, throughout this week, the Lord preserve you, protect you through His blood from the COVID-19 virus, from every infection, from every sickness, from all the powers of darkness. In the name of Jesus, the Lord preserve you and your loved ones from all evil. The Lord make His face shine on you, grant you supply, supplying you always with His favor everywhere you go. When you're without a job, in Jesus' name, favor is coming your way to produce a job for you. Amen. Don't be afraid to send in that email for that job. Be bold, be courageous. Make the interview even online. Amen. For God's favor is with you. I've learned that the eating of the fruit wasn't the sin, the knowledge caused us to judge as if we are God and that was the sin that causes death. It began this whole good vs evil campaign, which is really bad vs evil because good does not have a Vs.

Daniel Quinn, in his book Ishmael has an alternative interpretation of the Garden of Eden that I find quite compelling. I will try to do it justice, but the book is very much worth reading. . . The Garden is just undeveloped nature. As long as humans lived according to the 'laws' of nature, they remained in the garden. And the Knowledge of Good and Evil was the choice of who lives and dies. So, some days, the deer got away and the people were hungry. Some days the people killed the deer and so they got to eat and the deer died. That was the circle of nature, the law of the Garden, the Knowledge of Good and Evil. And as long as humans followed those rules, they could stay in the Garden. But, somewhere people decided that they wanted to be in charge. So they started growing crops and herding animals and didn't need God. So, people were expelled from the garden as a matter of natural consequence. By choosing agriculture and shepherding, they chose to make a very difficult life for themselves, a life separate from the natural order of the Garden. So instead of hunting and gathering, they chose the hardest life imaginable. That was the curse. We are the natural descendants of those people and the system they created, which Quinn calls Totalitarian Agriculture. The hardest way of life ever invented, but the one way that leads to the greatest human achievement. I was like, "That makes sense", but what really hit me hard was when Quinn brought in the story of Cain and Abel...POW! It is so much more involved than this. I don't feel I have the capacity to represent Quinn's story. But maybe I've made some of you curious enough to check out Ishmael. Thanks for reading..

I wrote a song about this very thing and I stop to listen to you because of that, interesting how God works. In the song I question why the “Apple” was there and if it was a test. But then I was thinking about it earlier today and thought, how could we have “Free Will” without it. Jesus would have never had to come without it. I think it was part of his plan for us. The biblical "Tree of Life" is the tree that produces fruit for physical sustenance (fruit, vegetables, nuts...). The biblical "Tree of Knowledge" is the tree that produces fruit for spiritual sustenance (cannabis, Banisteriopsis caapi/Psychotria viridis - DMT, Opium poppy, Salvia Divinorum, Iboga, Acacia...). "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it" - Genesis 3:6 Spiritually speaking (gender aside), matriarchal wisdom can begin with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality (God). Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail). Here is a question I've always wondered about. The Bible says the tree of life was also in the garden and that God banished Adam and Eve from the garden lest they eat of the tree of life. Assuming that Adam and Eve had lived for some time in the garden after creation and before the fall, what are the odds they wouldn't have eaten of the tree of life before eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Since God had specifically told them not to eat of that one tree wouldn't it make sense that they would have at least tried everything else first.

It was the olive. Yeast and sin are the same .i googled what trees have yeast in them and the olive has yeast to make its oil. The dove brought back an olive branch not a peace offering like sunday school told us.but saying sin did this.

My thoughts on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil 1. They had no way of knowing good from evil because they had nothing to really compare to 2. It was the breaking of the commandment that brought about the knowledge because it brought about punishment. Without commandments and consequences there is no real way to grow. If you could do whatever you like with no consequences there would be no way or impetus to rise above nature to reach for something higher, to become perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect. They couldn't follow other commandments without the knowledge of good and evil and the ability to see what is good, (obedience) and what is evil (sin). By opening up their eyes they were able to see what is good and what is evil and thereby choose to become something better than an animal. 3. God could not create them in a fallen state as it would not be just. They had to choose to fall for themselves. The consequence of falling was the introduction of death (thou shalt surely die) but that was it. It was also paid for by Christ (in Christ shall all be made alive) They did die in that day if you think about day being the 1000 years. Neither lived to be 1000. We couldn't bear the weight of a single angry word if we were to bear the weight of our sins. There is some mercy in not allowing us to feel the full weight of out sins at the moment because we would die under the weight of the first one and be unable to enter into the presence of our Father in Heaven. Instead we are given a chance to grow from them (through the gift of repentance) and to pay some of the price through some of the pain and suffering they cause to us and others. It is the mercy and the wisdom of God. It was no different for Adam and Eve. James was about works being the ultimate expression of faith. Knowing God - If you love me, keep my commandments. Taking the name of Christ upon yourself (calling yourself Christian) mean that you will do what He would do if He were here, that you will say what He will say if He were here. It also means that you would not do or would not say that which He would not do or say. Saying that you accept Christ was not enough for James and isn't enough for God.

When a Bible translation says that Adam and Eve would know good and evil for themselves, people need to know that the Hebrew word that is being translated as "know" really means "to determine for oneself." Thus, the sin of Adam was in no way necessary for mankind to come to know good or evil, as is so often read into this. God determines good and evil for man. Adam and Eve chose to define good for themselves, rather than accept God's commandment.

The gift was free will... God was not a hypocrite... God did not give them a free will, only to turn around and tell them "do only this, and not that". Adam and Eve's "sin" was they became ungrateful and not thankful, began to complain/disrespect. The "tree" of knowledge was not a tree. Here is the real truth....We are all on our own self directed journey of self discovery. No one can explain "the truth" to us because we are meant to find it within ourselves. We are meant to interpret things within ourselves, our own way... As soon as we feel like we understand "truth" and attempt to tell others, then we give in to an ego pursuit, and become the "deceiver". To know God and be known by God, one must know "unconditional love" within themselves. It is okay that we testify our feelings but as soon as we try to "correct" others "beliefs", then we have become "self righteous". Read the Genesis story, but discern the Truth for yourself... Adam and Eve had 2 sons, Cain killed Abel, and then went out and took a wife of his own. Where did she come from? humanity existed before Adam and Eve. The love of God is unconditional love... love of humans is conditional love... unconditional love is truth, conditional love is deception... Believe what ever you choose, my belief is.... The fruit of knowledge did not fall from a tree, it was a mushroom... and the "heavens Manna" was also the same mushroom... psilocybe cubensis. All the seed bearing plants and fruits are here for us.... it is up to us to see them for what they truly are. Or not, essentially the basis of free will. choose to think freely or choose to rely on the teachings/ ideas/ beliefs of others... I think, therefore I AM.

Tiny teens grow up when they take the fruit🍍🍎🍓🍇 from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The youth convert their knowledge into practical experience. Then tiny tots bring Joy. The Gospel is the Word of God that Jesus gave so we may have Eternal Life. Jesus is God Incarnate, the high priest above all, our Messiah.

How is a person going to overcome evil when it is ignorant of its ways? The eating of the fruit symbolizes partaking in its ways.

The apple is a symbol, apple doesn't have to be an apple. Like when you are waiting a prince in a white horse, it doesn't have to be a man in a horse, it means more like a right man for you. And yes, you can call this as snake spirit that misleaded them, there is not so much about animals talking. It's how well we can teach meaning of symbols to children and also for many grown-ups. When they havent't much thought about these things, they might still have mainly these child constructs, and no wonder they are atheists in that case. Where in genesis do Adam and eve die in any form? I fail to see how getting kicked out of a garden and forced to earn a living through hard work and painful childbirth being spiritual death, or spiritual at all. And giving life and dying seem antithetical, but maybe that's just me.

It was simply a choice between Everlasting life or knowledge. Man chose knowledge over life. He was not created immortal but it was possible to attain immortality if he ate the fruit of the Tree of Life.
