Jack pines can be a pain to fell when other trees are present because they are top heavy and very limber. I'm glad you're safe and there's no damage to your machinery. Be safe and God bless
i love your energy man and the videos just lost my wife due to Covid and decided to quit my job and pursue a different career path probably not smartest move but whatever im in it now keep it up brother, videos are inspiring to just do your own thing cause life is short
Exactly what I was referring to when I said you have to curl the head back to expose the full drum diameter to make the cut, which takes the push bar out of contact with the tree. With enough forward rake on the push bar you can curl back and still keep it pressed into the trunk giving you all the leverage you need to control the fall. This is why all the monster sized heads have hydraulically adjustable push bars. More forward rake more betta.
It's fun looking at the Ground. At least it was a soft fall. It's becoming a normal everyday thing now. I guess that We need to get use to it. Taking a Fall & Tumble.
The shot in the area of 31:45 or so reminds me of the container that had the velociraptor in it going through the jungle at the beginning of Jurassic Park.
Tim " How much wood could a Wilson cut if a Wilson could cut wood?" Wilson " He could cut a quarter of a cord of conifer if you gave him a quarter for every cord he cut."
