i like the idea that being murdered is an inconvenience like breaking a bone, because that implies getting sentenced to death is actually getting off lightly.
This is some inspired ass comedy. It's obviously the same type of comedy as his review videos. I say this kid's going places if he can put in the work required.
Scott: "So, Mr. Wool... Did you kill anybody?" Liza: "Objection, he doesn't have to answer that." I think it's funny that this is a rule that actually applies in real court sessions.
@@masonshipton2344 trust me, I've tried to sue the bees in defamation, let's just say I had to pay $999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999.99, and since I couldn't pay the fee, I now have to work a full time job sucking off queen bee, a terrible fate for cash to get me out of debt.
"Listen if they convict you, I'll just start yelling. They can't convict you if you can't hear. That's why the deaf don't go to jail." -Scott the Woz, 2020
@@ArshadZahid_nohandleideas they're the same lines but the recordings are vastly different you can especially hear it when they get to "I was lying as a joke" 'so you lied during a court of law' "AS A JOKE" so they did do two different recordings. one in person and one with just voices but the lines are ready angrily to play over footage. I think they even loop the audio because that whole exchange a second time
Scott is legitimately witty, it's like a speeding bullet with jokes. Kind of makes me wish he and his supporting cast (who are all extremely funny in their own right) had a show or something lengthier like that.
If you watched/listened to the episode of The CraigSkitz Podcast with Scott, he actually does talk about eventually writing a show of his own sometime later in life.
@@Keithington249 I order mine by what system they belong to followed by the order I purchased them. If that information has been forgotten or multiple games were purchased at once, I then organize by franchise (the order of the franchises is determined by personal preference), followed by if they are a main-line installment or a spin-off, followed by release date.
9:56 You can hear the "I was lying AS A JOKE!!" conversation going on in the background. However, this is not reused audio. This is it's own take. Meaning the entire time they're talking, Scott and Eliza are going in circles with Scott getting more and more angry.
I just realized that Scott Said “That’s “Me”to you” because that’s what he wrote in to identify himself as the lawyer This man is a genuine comic genius.
@Julian Borges at the start friends “the lawyer is me” because scott wrote down me as himself and then later on he says to call him me. Best I can explain
"you know now that I think about it, Madden really did suck, and that was even before they melted his statue to make new pennies" - Scott Wozniak, RU-vid sensation and now SNL writer 2031
@Eric Lee Of course! Years 1-100 is the "First century".. so 101-200 is the "2nd century".. so 901-1000 is the "10th century".. 1901-2000 is the "20th century".. and thus, of course, 2001-2100 is the "21st century" It's a common mistake though!
The ONLY two times that Scott has EVER interacted with a female are: 1. In "Anime Games", where Dr. Anna May tried to murder him 2. This video, where Liza tried to beat Scott in a Trial Not really sure what this means honestly
You have real talent for writing, Scott. I mean it... I had to rewind every 10 seconds or so out of fear of missing a joke before giving it my undivided attention because every line in this sketch could be a home run. I know your youtube career has never been hotter, but if it ever isn't for some reason, you could make an actual career at writing comedy television or movies. It's been so long since I laughed this hard at a youtube sketch I forgot people knew how to do them and you sure did it. I'm saying this now because this video was particularly spicy but honestly, this comment could have fit in under any of your videos. You're so funny dude. PLEASE never stop making content. PURE TALENT.
i cant agree more. its outstanding. we need more creativity like this. not to mention all of the jokes carry over. its a smart tactic it makes even the earliest episodes importaint with the awesome baby referance. not to mention it has a genius meta-lore!
Defense: I have evidence of him murdering someone! Prosecution: Yeah, but that's not enough. We need some *solid* evidence. Until them you're story is just a story. Also prosecution 2 minuets later: I mean there is a possibility that he didn't do it. Defense: Any evidence? Prosecution: *stfu* no one cares...
@@CloverChats You're right so the timeline would go - Scott stole copies of Madden 18 because he only believed there is one Madden game and that is 08' so Officer Steel Wool was hired to stop him but he wasn't able to stop Scott before he learned that there is more then one Madden and the guys Vegans Anonymous Gatering "stole" the copies of Madden 18 and were caught before the game wasn't worth a care anymore and that case was dropped - After finding out that everyone has a Madden to call their own (with a song and dance) he decides to play "Dick Vitale's Awesome Baby College Hoops," but he got sent to a different timeline where Awesome Baby is the only sports game so he goes on this crazy saying things that weren't "Awesome Baby" (no pun intended) so he was put under house arrest and Steel Wool had to watch over him to make sure he doesn't leave, but the ankle braclet was an extra large and he escaped. - When Chet invited Scott, Steel Wool, Rex, and the others to a dinner party and in Chet's video saying why he wasn't there he got murdered and anyone could of been the killer because they all had beef with him. So they had to be on their toes "Murder Mystery" style to see who was the impo- er I mean murder which was Steel Wool at the end of it and everyone except Steel got treated for murder. - Scott also said he had Jury Duty at the end of that video which could be this video but that would mean everyone got treated for murder earlier and Scott paid off his bankruptcy by hosting the Christmas Awareness Party for recent murder victims so they healed up fast and them got together to sue Steel Wool and win or it takes place at a different time and they probably got murdered at a different unknown point That's my guess on the Steel Wool timeline took me 30-45 minutes to write down but it was worth it Edit: Also forgot to mention that Scott made Games on a Shelf go out of business which made Chet and Scott lose their job's and Chet didn't like that would go before Madden 08' Christmas.
This was like unironically one of the funniest Scott The Woz episodes dude, it's just a 10 minute skit with Scott's humor and I would LOVE more episodes like this one
TBH I think the only reason he made this an episode of his show and not one of his originals is because he wanted to get episode 200 out by the end of the year
I think what really does it for me is the insane delivery of every line. Every line is delivered like it’s coming from an autistic alien who has only had a year to study human behaviour. It’s some quality stuff
NGL, I feel exactly the same way. In fact, this one time, I was chatting with a guy, and he said "NGL", and then proceeded to ramble on for like five lines. Like dude, what's the point of abbreviating like that if you're just gonna keep writing so long? It's ridiculous! People like that really grind my gears, you know that? You know what that's like? When someone just gets on your nerves so bad you almost want to kill them? I hate that feeling.
I think the charm of these videos comes from the fact that they feel like a middle school project. A high budget would ruin the appeal. Not saying he couldn’t make a really funny movie, just that it wouldn’t capture the same essence of these videos
