I'm curious why David censored himself in the second verse ("dressing-gown" vs. "bath towel"). Surely Newsworld viewers weren't that prudish? :)

Plenty of artists change the lyrics of their text from singing to singing. Dylan, Bono, and Paul Kelly come to mind -- so he's in good company. My gut says it wasn't censoring.
