Hector's bravery and morality is what i aspire to be like. Even as a greek i was rooting for him since i was a kid ,what a legend he is standing strong for his foolish brother .
@@thalmoragent9344 and then the greek army would just leave ? Also Helen and him claimed they loved eachother so even if it worked somehow he would sacrifice his brother happiness
I feel the same way. Hector seems to be the ultimate hero of the story. I think Hector is probably the most honorable hero of the Greek myths: he loved his wife, he was a good father, a good son, and an excellent military commander, always doing what was best for the men and the army over himself.
@@thalmoragent9344 He always did. At the moment Helen come into Troy court till the day he met them. Long before the war started to the last time he visited the Troy court. He always told his father to returned Helen yet for the love of Priam to Paris he won't listened.
"As Troy fell under its own weight, the other great civilizations of the world realized with concern that they themselves would not be eternal. Meanwhile, in Italy, a group of merchants began to take an interest in a vast area occupied by seven hills..."
@@bluesky6985 I mean, Troy did literally get razed and Sacked from the inside, and the surrounding towns and cities it had as allies were also mostly Sacked.... so I mean, Troy was pretty much "history" at that point 😅
@@bluesky6985 Troy was.. part of Judah? How so? 🤔 I doubt Troy was ever the good guys considering the actions were mostly their fault in the War. Must've fallen from grace, evidently
@@thalmoragent9344 Judah had 2 sons Genesis 38. The line of Zarah left before the children of Israel went to Egypt. One went to Greece and the other made it to Troy. If you go back far enough London way called New Troy.
The most amazing Narration I've ever heard I became totally entrenched in the story. the different personalities were fully fleshed out and the grand scope of this story was very clear throughout the narration.
Amongst of a hero whose fought in the Trojan war the noblest one is Hector. Not only as warrior, guardian of Troy and her champion but also as a husband whose seek not any concubines and as a son whose love for his parents surpassed many by far. Yet his father driven by the guilt over Paris banishment chose to spoil him.
Really really like your "Trojan War Saga". Appreciate you "See U in History" team. I will eagerly wait for upcoming parts in order to see what happened after the fall of Hector.
Nice rendition of the Trojan Saga, but I must say the part of Odysseus RUNNING and dodging arrows upon jumping out of his ship must be wrong he must have just stood still on the shield. Else he would have been the first one to touch Trojan sands instead of Protesilaus.
Fascinating and interesting Video on the Trojan war Saga Prince Paris and the Gods of Olympus are both responsible for the Start of the Trojan War in the First place
What's amusing about the Trojan War is that given the preponderance of prophecies that are known to both sides, it comes off feeling like a modern video game where both sides are racing to score objectives and quest markers to ensure the other's defeat.
Very beautiful rendering of the Iliad and of its premises. However, it should be noted that in the Iliad it is explicitly stated that Patroclus was older and more responsible than Achilles.
No the real mastermind is Zeus. The world is overpopulated so he devised a plan to create Chaos and War and did not invite Eris and you already know what happened.
The Mith always Amazing... The story of the heroes from The Age of Greek. Full of Action and romance. The pictures are So Gorgeous. Thank you for this Myth story.
I spent a week in Mojave with some people I met 2 days before. Best week of my life. One of the guys told me to read this book which reminded me of The Matrix movie, but with more information. And it changed my life…so I’m paying it forward: “Man Being Volume 1: The Transmission”. It covers everything from time travel, dreams, death, the afterlife, reincarnation, extraterrestrials, portals and gateways, Vatican and Renaissance secrets, Ancient civilizations, Lemuria, Atlantis, Jesus, Sinai, Egyptians and the Pyramids, Hebrew letters, etc. Wild read. Best I’ve had in years. Highly recommend it.
PHENOMENAL work -- this really brought to life one of my favorite epic works of all time. 👏👏👏 Would love to know what music was used and whether the soundtracks are available 🙏🙏
The story of the Trojan wars is one of the examples why I hate infidelity infidelity does not just destroy one person it destroys everyone and everybody around them and I deeply and truly feel sorry for the victims that have been hurt through infidelity vio con dios
May I ask you? Is Helen's daughter a cousin to Orestes, son of Agamemnon? And is it true that she actually married Orestes after he killed Neoptolemus, son of Achilles?
Lately I've been watching vids that are 30+ minutes long , on 2x speed and with subs ... Not this video , so engaging , I've always been fascinated by the glorification of circumstances , but now I know they were just people , and true story is probably now even 10% as interesting as the myth.
Hi! Can someone tell me the song’s title on the part about Aphrodite’s son, Aeneas? It was so beautiful and relaxing, I’ve been trying to look for it, for months. Thank you for the answers!!!! 💕💕💕
Really like Hector man, ok he bottled it from Achilles for a little bit, but then he faced Achilles and his fate, i felt so sorry for his wife and kid, one of the worst parts of the war, Diomedes was a proper bad boy too, he took on any one even the gods in Ares and his woman, ok he had help a little from Athena but still a bad boy, also Aeneas too, Stood firm when Faced against Achilles too, Odysseus was a ok too, oh And Pyrrhus the son of Achilles came and had it up too, killing many warrior's
And we wonder why not committing adultery is one of Ten Commandments. Oh idk… might only lead to one of the largest war in the Ancient Greek world, destroying countless lives and heroes.
I find it telling how the Trojan War growing up we arent told it is essentially an anti war epic....even Achilles regrets how short sided his desire for glory was
Athena seems to forget that Aphrodite is the goddess of love and passion and that she can unleash a war among the gods.Aphrodite can turn all the gods against Athena even Zeus could not resist her charms.
