Marc, LR is correct about Alabama. They play 8 conference games, would schedule 2 patsies and then another one before Auburn. It has changed recently and especially now with a 12 team playoff. But they are not the only ones. Check out the other SEC non cons. For the most part ( except LSU ) . They schedule to give the teams the best chance to win the national championship. Its worked out pretty good for them and Georgia. When they're claiming yet another trophy, nobody cares or remembers that they beat UL Monroe, Mercer and Kent St or that they didnt play Notre Dame..And btw, they beat ND twice in the playoffs.I want USC to continue to play ND, I really do, but if they stop playing them in the regular season for the betterment of the team's chances to make the playoffs and win a National Championship which sometimes might include beating them to get there, I would take it. Probably not the most popular take, but so be it. I'm pretty sure the series will continue.

Funny, I watch college football more than anyone, and I don’t remember watching any freezing ass cold games in the BIG10 last year. You act like players on SoCal’s roster never played in the cold. There from all over the country, even the kids from California, you all think California is 75 degrees 365, 24/7. Go to places up north, the high desert at night during fall, with the wind blowing at night feels like a knife cutting through you. So don’t give me this cold weather BS, always the BIG10’s go to, it’s lame and you’ll soon find out.
