Man update just came out today and I fucking love troodon!! I’ll be streaming it all night on twitch tomorrow!

Imagine being a full adult Steggo being slowly whittled down by a pack of these in the pitch black. You can't run because you have no stamina from the poison and you keep getting pounced. So funny that you can harass almost anything with these things.

I didnt cause just recently im gonna come back to the Isle thanks to this update, so your tip is really appreciated (i did play yesterday Evrima to clean the dust off, had fun)

Probably because it’s just the most popular due to Jurassic park the game,Jwe, and Ark. Which ark and Jurassic park the game gets a pass cause they were in the game before the troodon was no longer valid

vs carnivores being able to tag a dino a couple times and slowly bleed/venom them to death. Herbis get CC Carnis get DOT. But even then there are outliers and fringe cases like Carno charge, technically deino if you wanna count snatching dinos as CC, and then stego being able to do massive bleed. But generally I think it makes sense that Herbis often have more CC type abilities rather than DOT or just raw damage (which has been notoriously terrible and made many herbis absolutely useless against even similar sized foes in legacy because of passive health regen. I don't think anybody would be playing pachy in Evrima ever if fractures didn't exist.). Dinosaur Herbivores weren't just lunch. Many of them adapted ways to handle predators and for many of them it involved powerful muscles or deadly weapons attached to their bodies. Tenonto's tail is bigger than a Utah FFS. That would hurt to get slammed with. Galli legs are longer and probably stronger (due to distance sprinting being its thing) than even a Utah's so it having a powerful kick also makes sense.

I dunno man. I feel like if you got kicked by a cassowary or ostrich, you’d be flat on your back. Herbivores should be able to protect themselves.

@@ShadeScarecrow Yeah Troodon is tiny by comparison to most other dinos on the roster. They should realistically be one shot to most animals (basically anything even a little bigger than it could probably do big damage.) Which is also fine since it grows fully grown in like 30-45 minutes from what we're seeing. I say this also intending to be a Troodon main in the game. Quick to grow and quick to die is fun as hell IMO.
