Hey just so you know, you not getting any diet is because of your full stomach, not about a game bug. You can keep eating with cera in case you dont have bacteria stored, but you dont get any diets. Hope it helps! Also make sure to get the organs out of bodies after opening them up with bites, they give a ton of diet with even just 1 bite

If you weren’t aware, ceratosaurus gets a buff near bodies when another creature is near. This is chuffing, and it gives the ceratosaurus damage reduction. The reduction is based on the size of the body, so an adult stego or deino body is a whole 80% off any hits you might take (this buff also only applies to non-dragged bodies)

Owl when you’re hunger is full even though you won’t vomit you still won’t gain any diet from eating the organs. You have to wait till you’re hungry again

14:42 no, that's intentional. just like with deinosuchus, ceratosaurus can eat as much as it wants without vomiting which allows it to completely remove bodies if it so chooses, but it will not gain nutrients if its stomach is full.

Man I loved that Teno fight. You both behaved like proper predator/prey there. Legit wish that more dino gameplay was like that.

think what makes you so good at the isle is your so patient most people get excited and charge in but i love how you tell the story its almost like a book.

Petition for OwlTime to play Rain World! (day 2) its a great survival game with complex AI and punishing gameplay, he should at least check it out (its fine ofc if he doesn't want to) Also, great vid!

Here are 2 tips Owl, - You get more diets from organs if you eat them the slow way, instead of swallowing them. - You not getting the diets is not a bug, having full hunger stops you from gaining diets. Eat the organs you want before getting full hunger to get full effect from the diets. Amazing vid by the way.

Great vid, but diet and hunger go both ways. To get nutrition you need room in your stomach its not a bug.

There aren't many dino sim players who are willing to keep hunting after getting hit real hard like the beginning of that teno fight, I can always respect a player who fights to the death

God I love your videos. Perfect good time entertainment. Just love the presentation. So soothing. Also- yeah the sameness of the map has been a complaint of mine since forever. I feel like the devs put way too much attention on the dinosaurs than they do about a fun experience- which to me is a map made with love. Seriously these maps need biome diversity- literally places that are unique from one another. All the waterfall or river areas are so identical I still struggle to figure out where tf I am every time I log in. I really wish they’d get their act together and make an experience that is actually fun. Legacy was more diverse- but still somewhat stale. Give us caves, hidden ponds, unique twisting trees that stand out among the others. freaking fireflies- come on Isle, Day of Dragons is working harder and faster!

Your videos are alway my top favorites to watch during lunch breaks u do a amazing job and u seem like a chill guy on game Lol. the unguarded ones probably players from path of titans originally I came from the isle to path of titans and it was bizarre in some ways 😅 as babies more than half the people just run around out in the open not a care see another player noo don't run or hide "I'm a baby I'm safe" I had 2 people I spawned a new dino with and they just started trying out alll the noises then and there no caution...😂 no fear of death

idk if u know this but you can get a health buff if you stand near a body (thats not an ai and is not dragged) the bigger the body the bigger the buff, you know it's activated when you start chuffing

Hey just for next time, make sure you get the organs of any player bodies you find. If its a smaller body and you can carry it in your mouth, then hold left click and shake your mouse around to get the organs out, too. Organs provide a lot more nutrition this update

The carno you fought in center was less than 75% I'd personally say about 70ish %. A way you can know is that a 75% Carno can charge and knock over a cera, but he stunned himself on you.

Not gaining diet on a full stomach is correct. You can only gain diet for food that restores hunger.

This has probably been my….most intriguing journey as a RU-vid content follower. I think I was here at 2.5k subs. This dude has come so far in terms of quality it’s kind of mind boggling. His growth is so well deserved, I watch these story telling masterpieces and giggle as I think back to videos with a few thousand views. Back when a video might consist of a chain of baby snatching leading to threats of server bans, or the very first beginnings of story telling following a jag Rex from spawn to death. Fun times.

This is the video that caused me to buy this game, I had never heard of it before your videos. I never got to play on Isla Spiro tho and the open fields with bushes and trees looks so cool, the rivers looked nice too. Sucks gateway has none of that, I am tired of the hills and cliffs everywhereeeeee

"Anyone else feel like Evrima is just jungle and river?" Absolutely. Plains as well. Nobody spends any time at the beaches or swamp so there's no reason to go there. I only occasionally see players in the highlands or by the water access dam. I really wish there was more going on at the beaches. It would be nice to be able to catch fish, crabs, or gulls there but the oceans are dead apparently. Didn't there used to also be beached animals on occasion? What happened to that? I know there are sea turtles but they hardly ever spawn.

While playing as a Baby Dilo from a nest, there were 4 of us we all went to the water to drink, and i said "god i hope a croc doesn't kill me" and the guy to my right gets Gobbled up by a Croc... Rip Friend

Currently in Update 6.5 You dont gain any nutrients when you are Full stomahce. Its not really a bug, but a bad design decision as far as I'm aware that needs to be reverted. Also , another awesome video Owl. Love it.

I mean, it kind of makes sense. If your stomach is full, you cannot digest and take in anymore food or your digestion quickens to accept that food and fails to absorb nutrients well, so you don't get nutrients for eating something on a full stomach. It should not be a bug but a feature. Why do some animals get to fill in their nutrients like this but others cannot? Not only does this not make any sense but it is also unfair towards the rest of the playables. Edit: I was notified that this is actually a feature. So you are indeed not supposed to gain anymore nutrients once your stomach is full. As it should be.

Wanted to note that the bacteria doesn’t work itself, you gotta keep applying that. Once it pukes you gotta go all in with charge bites to make em puke again. Ceratos play isn’t to be patient and long like the Utah, also tail bites don’t do bacteria so you gotta get body and head or base tail bites. You could have killed it once it puked the first time. Great vid tho I enjoyed it a lot

Also, The reason why it isnt giving you any diet when u eat is because after your stomach is full you dont receive any, but I haven't finished the video so idk if you figured it out.

Tbh i dont like evrima cuz it takes waay to long to grow and u allways get killed by either big groups or cannibals,it kinda killed of the entire survival genre

What evrima needs in Gondwana the continent that came before what we now live on now it had a variety of biomes like swamps, grassland, forests, jungles, deserts and snow and the dinosaurs lived on it

Its not a bug, if you got a full stomach you no longer get the diet from it you must wait until your hungry again to get the diet from it.
