Asking Imam Zamana for help is shirk. Help is to be asked from Allah directly and solely. Only Allah can help you. Then it is up to Allah on how he sends help your way.
Based on the logic you present, going to the doctor or asking your friend for help is also shirk. If you ask Imam Zaman (AJ) for help "MindunAllah" (meaning independent of Allah) this is shirk. If you ask him for help "Bi Idhnillah" (meaning by Allah's will) this is not shirk. When you go to the doctor, you don't believe that this doctor has attained knowledge independent of God. You believe that God has bestowed him the ability and knowledge (of course the doctor has pursued it and worked hard for it) to help you. As a result, Imam Zaman (AJ) is the representative of God on earth and can indeed help.
@@prep4imammahdi Going to the doctor and asking for help is not shirk. Believing that the cure is with the doctor and not God is shirk. If it is not God’s will to cure you, no doctor can. Similarly, help is sought directly from Allah. Then it is upto him on how Allah sends help your way. Going to the doctor is not wrong, you have common sense, you know a doctor can fix you but who enables that doctor to fix you? Allah only, who guides you to the doctor, Allah does. If it is not Allah’s will to help you, you can call upon whoever you want and you would be denied help.
I made the same assertion in my initial response. Nobody said that Imam Mahdi (AJ) can help you if it's against Allah's will hence when I said "Bi Idhnillah". The doctor serves as an intermediary. Allah directs Malak al Mawt to extract the soul from the body at the time of death. Shaytan in the Qur'an states that I will misguide them by Your Might. Nothing happens in and beyond this universe without Allah's Will. When someone seeks intercession with Imam Mahdi (AJ) it is not to say that they have sidelined Allah. Imam Mahdi (AJ) is the representative of God whom Allah has ordained with capabilities.
