Headlight motor gear is bad. The issue with them not going down without turning lights on is due to LED bulbs. They just flat out dont work well with the stock housings. Brakes are luckily painfully easy like most cars on the C5. The AC display you will need to take out and resolder. I had to do it on mine. It is easy so no worries, takes longer to take the unit out of the dash than the actual fix. Center console needs to be kind of pulled out then up, stupid design. I had no other issues on my 2002 in your video other than the headlight LED issue and AC screen, but since mine is relatively low mileage, 48K when I bought it, I had "sitting" issues, like a small coolant leak from the water pump gaskets. These cars were expensive new, then were very cheap for a time, now they are starting to get more collectable and appreciated but many are used and abused. Good luck with the repairs!
I'm glad to see an update video. I've had to replace several headlight motors on my fourth gen Firebirds. That will fix the embarrassing noise. I've also replaced the center console lid. Good luck on the other fixes, and wait until the harmonica balancer needs replaced.
Yeah, I had to tune down the audio quite a bit to save everyone's ears with how loud the noise is. After looking into the headlight motor more, it is completely busted, so I'm shopping for a new one.
