THE TRUE DAMAGE OF LESLEY'S REVAMP 

Elgin: *She needs to do hit and run while relying on her passive dmg* *Finally! The role of Lesley being an assassin has been fulfilled!*

Ngl, I feel like people are over exaggerating her passive. Yes, her passive change is somewhat crazy but they seem to forget they nerfed her other stats to balance her out. Even official server lesley have higher poke than this.

I think they ramped up Lesley's difficulty a bit. You now need to time your attacks properly in order to take advantage of her new paasive and freehitting may not be a viable option now since her true damage does require some time to recharge. Also, it seems like she's now more geared towards taking on fighters instead of squishy heroes due to the adjustments on her skills and passive.

Everyone talking about her revamp on passive while I have fallen in love with her voice... They made it soooooo seductive

I think the revamp with her relying on her passive is the way she should be played. She's a assassin/mm so hit and runs definitely should fit her style now. Maybe I'll start playing her again soon.

instead of malefic roar, buy hunter strike instead for cd reduction and movement speed. cd reduction to reduce her skill 1 and skill 3 cooldown and movement speed to complement her hit and run style (the pen is a bonus too)

They need to increase the damage boost on her skill and her crit damage by a little bit, and she’ll be very solid. It’s nice that you don’t have to worry about penetration, but other characters still do more for less effort.

As a Lesley user since her first release, she's now becoming more of an assassin than a marksman. Good revamp.

Now thats alot more balanced than having to literally see a Critical Strike True Dmg xD this change makes so much sense on lesley and finally makes her rifle feel like a true sniper rifle that can penetrate thru armor, instead of some funny looking rapid-shooting sniper rifle with crit speed build xD With these changes she dont have to worry about not poking the tanks too cuz she now deals true dmg so she can poke everyone as much as she like as a true sniper. She’ll finally compete against beatrix on who’s the true sniper now xD

This is an adjustment I've been looking forward to but I still find it idk maybe odd how they are pointing lesley towards a build/kit that is focused on penetration through her criticals and away from attack speed builds (since she's a sniper) but majority of the critical stats are still locked behind attack speed items. I think the best case for lesley, although is very unlikely, is for a new item solely focused on critical stat (other than berserker's) is added, similar to Aulus with his War Axe. Just my thoughts.

She doesn't benefit off of Attack speed so much, so I'd probably focus rather more on items with normal physical penetration for better critical conversion, as well as maybe the boots for cooldown so she can spam her skills more sooner.. Problem with that is energy usage.

Imagine if her passive can put her into a camouflage state when her enhance basic attack is ready

10:09 That is how Lesley mains play her in her old version(crit Lesley). She can deal much more before, she can instantly deal 3/4 of your full HP.

As a Lesley main I like her as she is rn, I can basically solo carry an average team with her, she’s like a variation of Layla.

With Lesley's new in game mechanic, it definitely made her more interesting to use. I'm probably going back onto using Lesley👀 Only thing dissapointing is her voice. She sounds so mature (i like it, but it doesn't suit to judge with her new lore) while Gus is still being him, playful troublemaker.. Like a teenager.

i like how she relies on her passive as if she needs to reload her sniper to shot

She becomes a situational pick MM, for counterpicking high armor tanks just like Karrie/Claude against high HP tanks

Even though she's strong in the late game, when enemies keep on delaying your farm and ganking you, it's hard to catch up especially with MMs that specializes on attack speed. Don't really know if she will be in Meta once she's released but let's just hope they'll try to buff her early game damage. If they wanted her be like a hit and run MM, they should add a slight movement speed boost when hitting the enemy with her passive I guess like give her 50% movement speed for 0.5s to be able to reposition herself just like what they did with Bruno

Tbh I think Cooldown reduction is gonna be more effective on her since using a skill resets the cooldown kf her passive

I like the new Lesley! 2nd skill is finally more usable due to longer range. Attractive looks and voice lines too! It feels like they slowed her movement aside from being easily seen when using the 1st skill may be due to revamped graphics. With the current revamp, she seems like buffed and nerfed at the same time! 😅 I thought they gonna make her a one hit hero this time like beatrix before but that wouldn't be a good idea (or too much!) considering how agile she is, making her both a marksman and assassin.

Crit true damage is cool, but I preferred the physical pen passive more, cuz her normal basic attacks can benefit from the physical pen stats which can give her a fighting chance when her passive and skills are in cooldown.

I don’t know why I feel uncomfortable on how lesley carries her gun. Also, someone have to tell Egin that it’s a bad idea to use her ulti during a full team fight.

i think they want to return lesley as a burst type marksman. which means no more attack speed items like windtalker. her core items would be berserker fury, blade of heptaseas, and hunter strike. these 3 items will give a lot of physical damage and also crit chance

The "hit and run' style is exactly how i thought Lesley was all about when I first read her skills. Quite dissapointed when I found out she is just another regular crit mm with shittier early and less damage vs tanky enemies Now they fixed her dmg vs tanky enemies while staying loyal to her hit and run concept. You can tell her dmg early is still shit so I guess She's still gonna be treat as a weak mm. Current Lesley has Bad early and 'decent' late, this new one has very OP late but even shittier early so I think that balances it out

If the Jungler clears your waves before 5 minutes, they get nothing from it. It's like having a roaming item, so them clearing your wave won't cost you anything, unless you're trying to maintain a specific lane state.

This is completely damaging to my playstyle with her. THere are plenty of ways to revamp her other than making her a tank killer. This is bad. I don't like this revamp at all. I play her as an assassin all the time because that's what she does best but this kills her reputation in that area. If I were to revamp her, they should remove the slow energy recovery when she is hit so she can utilize her skill 1 more to escape and probably use it to remove slow debuff. They can also widen the gap created by her skill 2. Lower her attack speed and it's good to go. I currently don't have any problems damaging tanks even with her current skill set. and if they want anti tank damage, then the passive deals % target HP true damage. THis is just bad. Very bad.

This Lesley revamp is a giant nerf. I've been spamming old Lesley non-stop these past few weeks, but when the revamp came, I tried it and I felt that her overall damage and playstyle is much worse than before. There are so much more nerfs than buffs in this revamp, sadly. But for Gusion's revamp, he didn't receive a single nerf at all, meanwhile Lesley got so many nerfs. TwT. Improvements to playstyle (buffs): - Base Physical ATK from 131 to 140. - Passive can now deal true damage, but only if it is critical. - Ultimate can now give 5% extra critical chance for each level-up for her ultimate, up to 15% extra critical chance. - Ultimate skill base damage for each bullet is increased from 200-300 to 250-350. Nerfs to playstyle: - Lesley's physical attack growth reduced from 9 to 7, which is a total of 30 physical attack loss in max level (level 15). - Lesley's base critical damage is reduced from 200% all the way down to 140%. - Basic attack base attack speed reduced from 1 to 0.8. - Enhanced basic attack damage reduced from 120% to 110%. - Enhanced basic attack damage to minions reduced from 140% to 130%. - Instead of converting each 1 point of fixed physical PEN to critical chance, it now converts each 1 point of fixed physical PEN to 0.5% critical damage. - First skill extra physical attack decreased from 75-200 to 85-135. - First skill can now be easily noticed unlike before. - The first skill's cooldown will now only start after Lesley's invisibility has ended, that means you have to wait. Unlike before when you can use her 1st skill right away just after her invisibility ends. So basically, lower physical attack growth, lower critical damage, lower attack speed, lower enhanced basic attack damage, lower enhanced basic attack damage to minions, lower critical damage, no more critical chance from passive, lower physical attack bonus on first skill, more noticeable invisibility in 1st skill, and longer cooldown on first skill, in exchange for 9 extra base physical ATK, true damage passive, 5-15% extra crit chance from ultimate, and 50 points higher base damage for each bullet in ultimate skill? Sure, the true damage from the enhanced basic attack of her passive is useful for countering physical defense, but its damage much weaker compared to before, so this new Lesley is definetely not worth it for me. I remember killing the squishy enemies in 4 hits or less in the old Lesley, but in this new one, I have to hit them for more than 6 times just to kill them. I prefer the old one. This is what Moonton did to other revamps too like Kagura and Odette, they ruined them...

That's why you should build EB + TB on Lesley. These 2 are her true core item eversince her release but ppl still tend to build atk spd items on her

As a solo que Lesley with 1.2K matches (52% WR), I'd say the buffs can make her popular again. But the re-adjustments (the nerfs on her critical damage) may put off most MM users. She's too squishy in early game and will need help from teammates to gank gold lane for her to farm your reco items. For me, I am excited to play her do that 3-hit combo to enemy heroes. For me, she is better now. Just don't die early often. Get your items, play smart, play safe early on. Thank you for this video Elgin. :-)

I was a Lesley main for a long time but I stopped. But when the new revamp came, I didn't hesitate to play Lesley again.

Swift Boots / Magic Shoes Windtalker Berserker's Fury Endless Battle Blade of Despair Thunderbelt (more true damage procs for tankier enemies) or another Berserker's Fury (for oneshotting squishy targets). You can't change my mind.

Before they implement the new talent system, I'd like Moonton to buff the Critical Damage we get from Marksman Emblem. Currently we get 4.5% extra crit damage per point (max of 13.5%). Make it 5% per emblem point (max of 15%) and give weapon master 5% extra crit damage so we can get a max of 20% crit damage. Just enough to nullify the crit damage reduction heroes like Ling and the new Lesley if they give Berserker's fury.

Yes the true damage helps a lot but with the nerf of her other stats I’m not sure how well she can do against other marksmen who usually don’t build much def items in the first place.

I don’t think this is going to make her any better than she already is she is losing her other stats to get that true damage and her basic can’t be triggered quickly enough to actually kill a tank with high hp fast like Claude or karrie with dhs and golden staff

Well as a lesley main user. I am thankful to the developers for noticing lesley and giving her some adjustments. Honestly for some time it is hard for lesley to catch up with the other heroes as they were given some nice adjustments specially with the tanks and defense item when it comes to the late game. I couldn't feel the strength and damage of lesley like from the old seasons. But with this I feel that lesley will have more potential all through out the game. And with this I can feel that most likely lesley will be banned in RG like what happened to wanwan and beatrix.

elgin you can check the bushes just by holding the ult and canceling it it will not use the sniper shooting ability but it can give you vision and a lesser cooldown for your ult

she will make karrie less picked now unless you're talking about hybrid build karrie.

As a lesley main with almost 2k matches, using flicker as a spell isn't advisable since she already has a big survivability rate because of her first skill. Use purify instead.

The build i like to use for revamped lesley is Magic shoes(cd) Berserker's fury Endless battle Blade of the heptaseas(for extra crit chance) Thunderbelt(true damage) Blade of despair SPARE EQUIPMENT Hunter strike(for more crit chance) Demin hunter(for high hp enemy) (I DONT NEED TO BUILD THAT MANY ATK SPD ITEMS BECAUSE SHE RELIES ON HER PASSIVE)

I wish moonton make Fridrenn ulti becomes critical true dmg just like his step sis Lesley. I said this because his ulti can be counter by physical defends. So with his ulti being crit true dmg he can go 1v1 and he can kill other heroes with defends.

When I first picked up lesley, I thought she would be as her voiceline says "one shot, one kill" and go full on one shot damage. But soon, I realized she still need attack speed like other marksmens. Now this is more in line with what I originally expects lesley to be.

I see that her new playstyle shouldn't be a problem anymore. If revamped Lesley comes to the Official Server, I'll build Berserkers Fury first, then Swift Boots for some attack speed (yes she only has 20% reduced attack speed bonus from emblems, battle spells and items but this is gonna be my footwear choice if I want attack speed and movement speed at the same time), then Blade of Despair, and the following items are: Endless Battle, another Berserkers Fury and lastly, situational items: Wind of Nature if I'm against physical DPS dealers like Zilong, Yin, Argus, Masha, Sun, most assassins and almost every MM and even Franco(since there may be players who like to use DPS items on Franco because his stacks allows him to deal 150% maximum damage on all of his skills but only one skill). And Sea Halberd if I'm against heroes with great sustain like Esme, Yu Zhong, Balmond, Estes and etc.

building this kind of lesley is easy such as: magic boots(cd reduc), 2(25 crit rate), despair and wind chant that can poke around 2k or 2.5k maybe give or take if they do not remove her first skill extra damage

I'm just glad they used her old voice actor for the revamp unlike other revamped heros

2:47 i think junggler can help you to clearing lane when you around and when enemy die, because of new adjustment junggler can't get any bennefit from minion wave for first 5 min and that can be helping for denied several minion on enemy tower

People kept saying she is now broken but I think she is balanced with big nerfs on her damage and attack speed..... She now feels like assassin/marksman not marksman/assassin I don't think attack speed build work with her anymore just pure dmg build.....her play style would be hit and run I don't think she can go 1v1 face to face with attack speed late game ADC like miya or moskov

I think they should just completely get rid of the penetration to crit chance passive and give her some inbuild crit rate because no one is gonna use penetration iteam in her now. Also it will be better to use raw damage iteam on her now rather than atk speed . I think best build will be --- berserker, scarlet phantom, 2BOD.

I remember suggesting that moontoon should allow Lesley to deal true damage from her passive. I also recall suggesting Lapu-Lapu to be revamped where one of his skill would allow him to jump to a location, knocking opponents up and have an enhance skill that swings his sword around to kill his enemies. Eh?

She is like brody, depend on passive, the difference is brody could take a whole squad in instant using ulti, lesley are more hit and run, her early game damage arent par with brody, but difference in late game, and dont forget her damage wont go so effective againts mm or mage , but fighting tank and fighter that is worth a shot
