Always great to see this group of 4 play together! It's been a while since we've seen Liang Ying and he never disappoints. I'd say my power level 7 deck is Elenda and Azor card draw/tokens. Casting Whispering Madness twice in one turn thanks to Cipher had me make 14 Vampire tokens in one turn; the next turn I played Order of the Sacred Dusk, giving all my vamps Exalted so Elenda and Azor swung for 22 in the air with Ward 3 😂

My power level 7 deck is Neera Wild mage. Sometimes I flip Eldrazi titans and most times I flip mana rocks. It’s a 7 because on paper it looks terrifying but in real life, I always flip average or below average cards to cast for free. I always end up with the best cards in hand instead of on top of the deck.

My favorite power lvl 7 deck might be Subira, Tulzidi Caravanner. When I first played the deck, I was going for combat synergies and extra combat effects (with damage triggers, etc.), but I didn't realize what would happen if I cast a Surge to Victory targeting my Relentless Assault in graveyard. Sooooo... Then I accidentally won that turn with infinite combats and a few unblockable dwarves and pirates. 😂😂

Ironically I build my decks to be 7ish, excluding high power color staples, no tutors, and adding a couple bad but fun pet cards. My most 7 like decks are Alela, Cunning Conqueror with that just casts fair stuff on your turns and makes a faerie and just gets smashed or eventually overwhelms. The next choice of mine would be Tovolar, Dire Overlord with just an obvious beatdown werevolf plan. Great games as always!

I guess my power level seven deck is my Belisarius Cawl token beatdown deck. All I do is just keep tapping Belisarius Cawl to generate a ton of tokens which I use to tap to make more tokens and then draw into anthem based artifacts and just hard cast them for the massive beatdown! Most of the time, I tend to just have a bunch of random tokens and artifact dorks and when they get flying, I get to see the panic on my friend's faces 😂

My power level 7 deck is Rith The Liberated Primeval. I consider it power 7 because its Naya fight dragons lol. The deck is meant to use fight cards to generate 4/4 dragons once per turn and beat down my opponents.

My power level 7 deck is Sefris of the Hidden Ways. It's gimmicky, but themed by the dungeon mechanic. It can play well and compete in most games, but can be hit or miss with the venture into the dungeon mechanic.

Yo, that niv-mizzet deck just went off like crazy. I love it when the power level of Esmond's deck kept on changing. Hahah My level 7 is Vannifar Evolved enigma. It doesn't have any of the 0 drop mana rocks on it but it plays well by cheating out big stompy creatures and high mana value enchantments. The deck is built around flickering creatures to abuse their etb abilities. Being a simic deck, it's easy to ramp and hard cast some of my key pieces in case I can't cheat them out. Sometimes it's just fun to psyche out my opponents by cloaking a land. lol

Zurzoth, chaos rider. If left to run wild it wins by turn 7-8 and also the ping damage from multipliers stacks up. Most I have skullclamp damaged per devil is 9 damage

My power level 7 deck is my Drafna bobble head deck. Its power level is determined by the number of bobbleheads I run and since I run all 7 its a power level 7 haha.

my power level 7 deck is easily my xenagos god of revels. the malignus drop, into xenagos buffing him to a 40/40, followed by a main phase 2 chandra's ignition to kill everybody is my favorite play :D

Love this! My Power Level 7 is Sydri Galvanic Genius. I used her as the commander because I have artifacts but always fail to use the main card itself. Consistency is 6 out of 10 guilds!

My decks are all sevens (at most), I guess. The powerful ones are tweaked to be less consistent (ie Sidisi, Brood Tyrant or K'rrik). Overall subpar Mana bases (no fetchlands, no triomes, etc), low on unconditional card draw and usually combat is the primary (if not only) win condition. I don't even own Sol Ring and/or Arcane Signet copies for each deck (currently 9) that would run them :)

My power level 7 is my very first deck, retooled over the years. Prime Speaker Zegana hand-size-matters tribal. Just attempting to flicker her till I'm holding my entire deck, with a bunch of 80/80 creatures & sooooo many alt wincons!

I think my favourite power level 7 deck is my simic dragon flash deck. It's a Renari/Acolyte of Bahamut deck that doesn't even have the super expensive dragons because they're, well, super expensive. But there is just something so satisfying about throwing out dragons on your opponents' turns. Not especially strong but it works quite consistently :)

My power level 7 deck is tribal Griffins. Being in mono white is automatically a 7. Although the creatures are evasive the supporting cards aren't very strong and the creature cmc is too high for the rate of p/t you get

My power level 7 is slicer hired muscle cuz you can share it with other players but they can't attack you with it so their commander damage will jeep on increasing

My favorite Power level seven deck is Volo, Guide to Monsters. Almost every creature has unique types and I purposely left out all blue instants to keep the power level lower and more casual.

Always love seeing you guys play. It's a great example of people just having fun playing commander. My (favorite) PL 7 deck is probably my artifact based Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker deck. It's nothing insane, but if left to do its thing it will sacrifice a ton of creatures every turn in the rotation for big damage/card draw/etc. It's very much a typical aristocrats decks with heavy grave pact abuse. My playgroup tends to not like infinites, so things like triskellion is about as not infinite as an infinite can get.

My power level seven deck is my Colfenor the last Yew treefolk deck. It's power level seven because there's only one sacrifice outlet, so Colfenor's ability almost never goes infinite. It wins by attacking with trees. But most of all, it uses wren and seven to create treefolk token which Im pretty sure is supposed to represent Seven.

My power level 7 is my Ziatora the incinerator deck that flings creatures, it is my 7 deck becuase the average mana value of non land cards is 7.

My favourite power 7 deck I use is Anzrag, the quake mole. The deck itself isn't so crazy, but it's always funny to see friends confidently block my commander then I declare my next combat , pairing that with cards like Xenagos, I get to continuously double up my power over, and over, and over and over and over again. And a funny little combo I do is casting fog on my commander + lure, to continously get him to a ridiculously high power and casting Chandra's ignition to go kaboom and kill everybody with a million damage.

I have a budget power level 7. Vhal/Raised by Giants. 7 because it's super budget (~$25) but it can absolutely bully stronger decks by dealing unblockable commander damage and pulling HUGE amounts of mana out of its arse

My PL7 deck is an oooold commander: King Macar! He is consistent, can be a powerful control against creatures decks, can create gold tokens (better than treasures) but most important: he does things that you dont see in mono black too often, like tap-untap shenanigans. It’s pretty consistent, built around a good ramp engine and can also combo off if needed!

I've been slacking on keeping up with the new Magic sets but out of my current collection I'd say my Delina, Wild Mage is a power level 7. It can definitely pop off but part of that depends on the luck of the dice rolls

My PL7 deck is Jinnie Fay tokens galore deck. My biggest token record was 300+ cats after I replied an Arachnogenesis by my opponent (also playing Jinnie) with my Call the Coppercoats on second main phase. Fastest win was T5 Purphoros + Dockside + Academy Manufactor combo with Jinnie on board.

Was great to see Liang Ying again. My power level 7 deck is Gluntch, The Bestower. It can go off if the conditions are right, but is overall fair. I enjoyed the turn-based power level variance discussion.

7 should not be considered average in a scale of 1-10. I have solved the “every deck is a 7” issue.

Great game! I've got to say my favorite power 7 deck i have right now is my Ellie and Allen Paleontologist deck. It's all about cycling big mana cost cards to my graveyard that I exile later to go digging for my combo pieces in my deck to win with a storm of brain freeze.

Mirri is my power 7 deck, and funny enough, your version during this game is a 2/2 instead of a 2/3, and is common instead of rare. Cool misprint there Esmond!

My power level 7 is Aleesha, Who Smiles at Death. Pretty typical mardu sacrifice, does have entomb and Master of Cruelty but that isnt hard to deal with.

My power level 7 is Varina, Lich Queen. It's explosive and has combos but no tutors and needs zombies to swing to get going. Also Matthew you can't get an Overgrown Tomb with Arid Mesa!

My power seven is a Doctor Who deck with the Fourteenth Doctor and Clara Oswald as the companion. Its a power seven because it does a wild array of things based on the cast trigger, and the win con is upkeep trigger of Gallifrey Stands!

You guys so do a mixture of extra mechanics like bounties and dungeons, or plane chase with and monarchy. Been trying this with friends and it is a lot of fun plus doesn't get boring as we switch decks.

My level 7 deck is probably Jenny Flint/Madame Vastra partner deck that I have fondly named "Cannon Lesbians" -- whole goal is to make Vastra as powerful as possible, make as many artifact tokens as possible, and beat face, while including as many canon lesbians ( (mtg and universes beyond, either cards or references on card name/flavor/art) as possible 😍

Idk if mine is a 7, but my new Teysa clue deck seems most fitting. Storing up some clues over the the first few rounds and then sacking all of them while a payoff is out. Pretty straightforward and pretty easy, so I think it is a 7?

I am always uncertain if my deck is a 7 or more towards an 8 and from my playgroup where I asked a few others one said it was an 8, the other more a 7. So yeah. Probably my Henzie all creatures deck is a 7, but might be an 8. Duskana is more than likely a 7 also. Most of my decks are just combat oriented, rarely do I play combo. Which is generally what I would place higher than a 7, because a combo can probably win out of nowhere. Also a reason I don't think they are above a 7 is because of how fast my decks can win. None of them outside of extreme outliers can win before turn 7/8. Maybe I can take out one person at turn 7 with a good start and nothing stopping me.

My power level 7 deck is Agatha! because she can either win at turn 3 or never win at all! WHO LET HER COOK 😡 I made her in a way where she ramps for more mana quick, and artifacts that can make my creatures untap, so that it can tap for mana, and untap.. and it starts tapdancing for mana until I cast one of the many invokers that can allow me to blast everyone in the face! (Also I hope to win the giveaway cus I cant proxy deckboxes)

My power level 7? Kotose the Silent Spider. You see it is a theft deck. I cast the cards of other players, so I will always have the average of the table's power level.

I have no idea if my decks are 7. I play budget so my decks are definitely not higher power but I have a couple of pretty synergistic decks in Henzie, Atla Palani, and Alela.

My power level 7 deck is most definitely Geth, Lord of the Vault, because you know how everyone always say their deck's power level is 7? well Geth is mono black steal commander, so after i blow up the board, i play their creatures and artifacts to play THEIR power level 7 decks. And yes, this does sometimes end with the table complaining about their own decks.

I honestly think power lvl 6 is an average deck, while 7 is more optimized deck, like having your mana rocks, fetches, key essential cards and synergy, 9/10 are cedh, and 8 being 9/10 but not having like the fast mana and bunch of the tutors. My Power lvl 7 deck is Phelddagrif. Different from most ppl's group hug build. No politics cards, just a bunch of mana ramps, everyone draw cards, double mana cards, fogs, few removals and counterspells. Main goal of the deck is to speed the game up, make someone else the threat, delay the game a bit, and just mill everyone out. Hug everyone to death.

When sac the treasure inst a -1 +1 situation? Cause it will lose one of the affinity to gain one mana. So I think 2 or 3 cast was impossible in the play

My power level 7 is Tayam, Luminous Enigma, which is secretly a nine Nazgul deck. It should be a power level 9 really, but 2 of them always get removed.

Beautiful day crew and community, my level 7 deck…. Okay, I love cats! So I have a great Cat tribal, but I felt I needed to teach dogs they are in fact second class pets! So I made a dog tribal deck called all dogs go to heaven. It is commanded by Tevesh Szat, Yoshimaru. It runs most of the black/white/artifact dogs who fuel my card draw (running as many sac and draw effects) into beloved cards like approach of the second Kitten(sun). My dream is to have alt art of dogs from movies like Old yeller so I can win on the emotional axis as well. Always love and laughter in your lives and cheers :)
