It reminds me a lot of the Appalachia here in the US. There are certain areas where it's just best not to F around and find out. I've always been intrigued by ghost hunting and seeing the unusual, but certain things like Irish fairies and the things in the Appalachian woods is where I draw a hard line... The things connected to the land are a next level sort of intensity that you can only believe when you've experienced it.

As a kid the Banshee was brought up. I didn't understand than. But I do now. Really wish I was more told about the Culture, Heritage. When I did ask , of course being in the US, my Grands just didn't tell me. My parents just didn't either. But my cousin Mary took me to the Land where she's born, my Grands & Great Grands. Really I felt at home for the first in my life. She shared with me alot I asked of. I am extremely grateful, love her so for sharing with me. This is great with me, when I go Ill see as well. So grateful for all of you at the Irish Pagan School. To me , its much more than a school.So grateful plz believe me.

I am interested in any differences between the Republic of Ireland 's myths and Northern Ireland's myths. I realize that along the "border", there would not be likely to be a big difference. In particular, i never hear about County Tyrone. It would be interesting to hear myths by county. Just a thought. Thanks for all that you are doing, Lora and Jon. This is so important in keeping the real Irish traditions and beliefs alive.

This is really cool. I love hearing about it. I would love to be un-brainwashed About fairies! I also did some listening to the BlindBoy podcast. He talked about the origin story of the fairies, at least according to the monks who wrote the book of invasions ( I think that’s what it’s called ). I’m also fascinated as I once read a little bit about African folk belief (author: Malidoma Some) in magic ritual, sacrifice, shapeshifting, Kontomble (Seems similar to a leprechaun ). There seems to be quite a bit of similarity. Fascinating that very similar experiences span across very different cultures.

I am going through some loss it's crazy how this really scares the shit out of me. But Im just trying to roll with it. Strange things are happening, but I have great respect for the Fairies. I told someone the other day as well. I said they are not Walt Disney. So hopefully you can see in this US, they just don't get it. That's fine, I feel much different.

I'm wondering if Lora knows anything about a question I have. I'm curious if the Sí are the types to be really protective of nature in our world and whether they are getting increasingly angry with humans because of the destruction we keep bringing to the earth? Also, when humans destroy the earth, does that effect the other world where the Sí live? Thank you 🙏🏻
