Wrong. He knelt down and began writing their NAMES followed by their sins. The Bible states that ONE by ONE they left, until their were NO more accusers. The scriptures don't SAY what JESUS wrote but we INFER what he wrote by what happened next and the manner that each one departed and it's in keeping with his nature and his WORDS.
God hates when people plaster their ideas into the narrative as though they are facts. First of all, the whole story was added to the gospel later by the Roman church. It never even happened and even if it did, your ideas are your ideas and you need to be careful about equating your ideas with facts when they are speculations.

To know what Jesus wrote in the sand, refer to the only other place in the Bible where this happens. Jeremiah 17:13 says, "O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters." So, we know what he was writing in the sand: names of those who forsook and departed from the Lord.

I wouldn't worry so much about Jesus writing in the sand as I would worry about God's eyes of fire seeing the sin's in a created being just before He drops the gavel and sends the eternal soul to hell. Jesus wrote geomantic figures in the sand. He did not practice divination but this was a statement to the Pharasees and Saducees that he knew that they did. Divination and other ocultic arts have been practiced since the beginning of time and divination is extremely popular today. When the Jewish leaders lost their intimate connection with God, they turn to divination hust like all major leaders at that time. He was letting them know he knew they were serving their father the devil.

Jesus was very well educated. He studied with the most brilliant teachers, in different lands. His uncle was very wealthy, traveling business man. He took Jesus with him, so he could be educated by brilliant scholars.
