I’ve gotten some requests to share my whole story and I’m finally ready to do it. Few people are as lucky as I’ve been in life but some things I’m not proud of have happened. This is my full story. It’s not for everyone but it’s all true and the people who helped me along the way deserve all the credit in the world.

I have been watching this channel since the Timofey Mozgov video and it has been amazing seeing the steady evolution of this channel and as a journalism student, it feels reassuring that you don't have to be working for one of the major networks to be happy. Hopefully, this upcoming season will provide the channel with interesting content to cover and see grow into a bigger presence of basketball youtube.

I’m a recovering heroin/fentanyl addict personally myself, have spent time in California treatment centers and also live there now and even currently work in the treatment industry. Stoked you were able to turn your life around so young and I appreciate tf out of your transparency

Your videos on NBA content are by far my favorites on RU-vid, and have been since I found your channel last year. I didn't know anything about your personal story until I just watched this video, and I gotta tell you how much I admire you. Thank you for telling your story, it's very inspiring. My son is 17 and about to head to college and he and I have had some very rough times in the past year or so. Hearing about your struggles when you were his age and knowing how you turned things around is really touching and encouraging. I wish you and your family all success and good fortune.

Wow respect man. I have been clinically dead from an overdose before and battled addiction for years, barely coming out of the other side. It’s always great to see someone come out of the other side, be successful and glorify the recovery not the drugs.

That wake up moment were you snapped out of that child like mindset and behavior to a committed to change adult mindset and behavior "without the near death experience" was something we all had the world would be a much better place. So many people don't have that mindset or that moment of realization and they are usually the ones who cause so many others and themselves pain/heartbreak/misery. Luckily you had the moment and lived to tell about it!

I found this video after your latest Ja video and I had no idea about your past. I recently started watching you and I am glad you linked the video. So happy for you and your family. I got hospitalized after a night of drinking and decided to get better help. At 29, I'm glad I did. As a black woman, it was soo hard (sooo hard) to get help. My mother still has no idea I see a therapist. I am still too ashamed to tell her. We are taught therapists are useless and we should be able to shoulder whatever burden. I had to learn that was wrong especially when you've had trauma. GET HELP, NOW. Don't wait.
