When Rajivji says consciousness without intelligence and vice versa, he talks about self awareness which AI can never have..When he talks about conscious field in which all 'algorithmic" activity happens, he wants to explore the role of "conscious field" in mediating perpetual duality cycles of nature and can AI "mimic" the role of conscious field (which is non Algorithmic or non material) ? He is also concerned about whether AI can sustain social dharma.

Very scholarly treated .I fully endorse the need to study Ai ,consciousness by starting from Vedanta side.Also the need to have AI with Sanskrit vocabulary,reams,and concepts to build AI supported Vedantic thinking.

After reading," Being Different" I firmly believe,Sh Rajiv Malhotra is a modern philosopher/ Rishi,what Shankar Acharya did then, when Sanatana Dharma was in its decline,Malhotra ji is doing same at present, when Sanatana Dharma is in its lowest ebb due to the long miserable slavery under bigot& fanatic rulers; under present socialist & secular governments ,every one is engaged in annihilating Indian culture & civilization.Rajiv Ji is apprising gulibble Hindus about the present shock waves coming from West in tune with some liberal Marxist Hindus doing all for their personal interests. In the words of Shakespeare," The coming generation will take pride in saying,this was a man who awakened Indians!"
