Ang comprehensive.. Galing! Looking forward ako sa IPO nito since December 2021.. Sana lang, bumaba pa ung price per share pra mas enticing sa mga Investors..
Interesting! I haven't done this myself but how does the recurring income look if we carve out non-recurring one-offs such as trading? I'm sure umakyat yan nung pandemic as rates went down. NPLs, may section sa BSP excluding retail? I suspect medyo malayo NPLs ng consumer loans sa non-retail. Agree ako sa competitive landscape at nasa corp banking, but feeling ko talaga nipis ng margins dito. I don't see much growth. Unless siguro magSME sila. Haha just my thoughts
Balance lang din :) most top tier corp loans, rate nasa 2%, loan rate ng car loan, 12%. SME loans nasa mga 8%. So net risk return din. And remember most corporate loans are clean, meaning walang collateral unlike retail auto and housing loans na laging may collateral. Credit card at personal loans, clean pero liit lang nun sa total bank portfolio. But tama naman, mas ok na tinignan yung npl ratio relative to the market. Just that we may want to look at non-retail npl kasi you're comparing against total npl na baka naskew ng retail segment.
I remember na to be a universal bank, dapat may % of equity na nasa nasa public. 10 ata. To be listed within 3 years of approval, otherwise revoked. Funding, nasa 20 bio na capital BCom, minimum capital for universal with 100+ branches is 20 bio. So it's more the listing requirement than the funding.
Nothing new with the fundamentals. All updates are about the IPO dates :) Tentative offer period: March 16-22, 2022 Tentative listing date: March 31, 2022 Tentative offer price: P12.50/share
@@KuyaRap nakow pag nakadeposit ako yong interest labas in 9months. Seriously, I find your vlogs instructive and quite easy to understand by an investment newbie like me. Salamat.
In my opinion avoid this IPO, Bank of Commerce isn't really a competitive bank and there are other banks that are cheaper. I prefer shares of Asia Unitedor Metrobank. If you can take more risk maybe RCBC and Eastwest. Also avoid PNB.
