I can relate. I am the strong friend who's always checking on others. One thing that I've been trying to do is set healthy boundaries. I also try to tell others what I need.
For some reason i used to feel like my friends/loved ones would think i didn’t care as much if I started setting boundaries especially when it came to always being the one to come to, vent to, etc. It’s definitely important to create some balance!
I definitely can relate. I'm the strong friend that everyone comes to to vent and get advice. Although most of the time I don't mind, it does get heavy. I too have issues opening up and being vulnerable, but I'm getting better at it. Thanks for sharing!
I agree! I think what makes it heavy for me is I can’t always separate my emotions from what they are personally going through because I care so much. We both just have to continue to work at it and strengthen that vulnerability muscle so that there can be some give with the take! 🤗
