When did he lie the first time? If you're talking about the documentary you realize that was a series. That's like saying he lied to us from the psycho series. When did he lie the second time? He never lied about why Corn quit.
It’s quite poetic that Jeffery filmed the both parts of the finale having been the one who filmed the very first video and that you have him your camera as a thank you gift
Rewatching 7 years later. seeing all the extra bonuses. Corn was a little greedy but realistically 36k a year with no benefits and as an independent contractor really isn't much. Plus what I will say to Jesse. Trips aren't a benefit if the person doesn't care about going. Vidcon isn't a bonus if they don't want to go to vidcon. Jesse talks about oh I gave him a 500k youtube channel. That isn't a benefit if the person doesn't care about being a creator. Fame isn't a benefit if they don't care about fame. But knowing corn was getting 7.5k for a few months and an extra 6k when the series ended. Yeah he was greedy but he was right about needing more money because he didn't see a future with Jesse. He was giving up potential promotions for jobs he actually wanted to film for Jesse. Both people were in the wrong for different reasons.
This happened 8 years ago. Making that much a month was really good! You are definitely thinking about recent years, yes that isn't much but 8 years ago it was really good. And plus depending on the state, could be more than other states avg! So yea, you need to think 8 years ago not today!!
Your looking at 36k a year in 2024 versus 36k a year in a 2016 New Jersey. If he didn’t see a future with Jesse he should have quit earlier. Regardless of how much you’re getting paid, to constantly attempt to go against a contract you signed with your employer asking for more benefits and money is ridiculous.
I’d also like to point out 36k a year in 2016 is roughly 46-48k in 2024 Pretty good salary for a dude holding a camera that majored in Criminal Justice 28:37
Im on Jesse's side. The kid's that say "Corn was underpaid" have surely not been in the workforce. It is hard to find a solid job. Holding a camera for $3000 a month is amazing. You can't even make that at McDonalds working long, hard hours. I am totally with Jesse on this one.
But Jesse was the producers, editor, writer, cinematographer and the CEO, so he should be making 6 figures annually, he's doing 3 or 4 times the amount of work. All corn is doing is holding the Camera.
He was drunk and she said something,it wasn't anything mean it was a joke about something like that he was drinking while working and he flipped her off.He apologized to her after he did it and it was all good and stuff, but in one of the BTS he flipped jesse off after jesse told him to use 2 hands on the camera cus he only had one hand on the camera.
I think it's more the fact of people still not knowing what's real and what isn't and then they get confused and they get pissed at him because they don't know if he's still playing an act.
And he got A 1 Year Contract so in Reality he Can demand what ever he wants from his boss at least That's who it works in the Real World. but how ever What kinda Boss is Stupid a Enough to give a new employé gut a contract which say he cant get fired 1 year so haha You Screwed up Jesse
I don't think Jessie understands Corns side, even corn said don't go hating on Jessie and he even said he didn't really want to explain why he quit. Another thing, Why would Corn tell people how much he makes, I wouldn't want to tell tons of people how much I got paid! Jessie seems like he's kinda avoiding the entire idea of corns explanation. We don't even know if Jessie was accepting Corns calls, maybe Corn tried to call Jessie first, but Jessie never answered, who knows. Corn as well was only speaking his mind, unlike Jessie, in this video Jessie is speaking in cover, he's not speaking his mind. I'm just very annoyed by this, Jessie seems like a lot of what he says Hollywood is, he doesn't even understand how Corn, was sorta pushed into having a RU-vid, and a Twitch, do you think he would do RU-vid or Twitch if he never got hired from you? He barely uploads, probably getting a job or applying for one. Either way, I'm just pissed from this! No hate, just pointing things out!
Jessie also didn't realize he did this job because at first he thought it would be great! But than he realized he didn't really even like the job, he is trying to make money, plus he had a contract? How is he suppose to end a contract ? He was struggling to like doing it, Yes Jessie has a point he is trying to make money, maybe he could have been more excited for a fun exiting trip, and maybe Corn kinda did screw Jessie over at the last minute, but Corn still has reasons he did it, there's just so much to talk about.
I know this is a really old video at this point, but corn was completely living above his means. Dude needed a reality check and a punch to the gut. He was living extremely comfortable with the job he had.
@@zhukov7923 Corn had to hold the camera, Follow directions, and maybe move some stuff if it was needed. 36k a year basically to just hold a camera is good.
@@zhukov7923 I understand that, however 3k a week is good pay for what he was doing. Not only that, but Corn also had a RU-vid channel, and was making more money from that too.
franPT69 actually it's not that good. It's $36k a year, which really puts you right above poverty level; not making enough to not be able to afford personal insurance, but still too much to be put on Medicaid and government help etc. Not worth it.
i am studying and get 750 dollars a months and have my own appartment with my girlfriend and its pretty easy. but 3 grand WOW. i would even do such a job for 1-2 grand. its fun and very easy
You probably will never read this but when you start doing something with a friend there is nothing like having them by your side all the way and making them happy as much as you are. As a friend you would of expected the same but money is the root of all evil on both sides. Money will drive the best of all relationships apart.
Yeah from now on everything on this channel is a series in my mind and it just seems odd Corn posts these videos and then the Jesse/Brian story ends and now here we are seems planned to me.
36k a year for holding the camera for 5 hours for a few days and getting off the rest of the days? are you fucking kidding me? and all of that along with his channel, twitch, and other social medias. so his salary is similar to a guy with a masters degree with like 3-4 years of experience which is so hard to even get and corn was just holding the camera
Do you guys even know how 36k is how little? I mean it's good compared to being a builder, or a fast food employee. But anyone with a degree makes A LOT more. And yes, holding a camera is harder than you think, and jesse make it seem.
yung poogaloo i said, with years of experience, corn isnt a pro at being a cameraman as what jesse said, he wanted to be a cop so for him to do something that easy and also something that he is not a pro at then he should be atleast thankful to jesse because jesse could have got anyone instead of him. jesse also said he gave him a christmas bonus and he still complained.
Dude :| you cannot justify it whatever you say....i make windows and i fit them and im only on £14,000 a year....i only get 1 day off a week and i work 14 hours a day....anyone would give thier left nut to be in Corn's shoes bro...holding a camera flr $36k a year is a dream come true especially when its with your froends
To sum it up...... Corn is now with Jessies old GF. She got caught fing another girl on J's bed. Corn wanted more money to film that. Corn complained that he worked 2 years without a single day off, and was expected to do housecleaning and laundry. J spent alot of money to build a wall around mexico to protect his pool, for his vids, so J had no money to spare. Corn was forced to live in that gaming room as he was on 24/7 call. He had no where to live when dad knocked it down. Corn didnt want to do laundry in Switizerland so he quit.
You are obviously just a silly little child. Come back when you understand living expenses and how Corn had benefits working at the prison for almost the same pay for less hours.
May I just point out that when there are issues with people who have a massive fan base it is very different to people who don't really have a fan base. Just don't comment when you don't know the whole story or when you have no idea what the truth is. That's the problem with a lot of these comments
well it looks like jesse wanted to keep it private, but corn posted his side of the story. had jesse not responded, he would have just allowed corn to have people hear only his side of the story. both parties might be exaggerating some parts of the story but that is our job to determine the truth, details that match up from both stories
NO corn is not doing it for the money! its a personal thing and thousands of people have been asking were is corn? they have been asking corn to make videos about why he quit actually he didn't even what to make those videos your a complete dumbass for thinking that corns only in it for the money plus if he was working every day no days off and holding a camera 24/7 and have no time with his family nothing so yeah he deserved a pay rise to be honest
Watching this again, I have to say I'm on Jesse's side. Corn read the contract. He knew what was in it. He signed it. Throughout the job, he's giving Jesse a shitty attitude and demanding for more money. All these days off and making lots of money, I have absolutely no idea why Corn would take that for granted. If I were Jesse I would have fired him prior.
Wish I made that much. I work 40+ hours a week and I'm only making $800-$1000 a month. I'm getting married in 3 months. I have $20k in student loans and I don't have even have my degree yet. That's good money. Corn could have been a great deal more patient and understanding there.
So, Corn was in it for the money. Didn't care much for more than the money. Wasn't grateful for the money. Who has to talk over a 125% raise? Wtf. Easy job and just wasn't happy.
3k a month for 6 hours a day as an assistant is good. 7.5k as a raise is REALLY GOOD from 3k to be an assistant. I understand everything Jesse is saying.
i never thought I would say it but in this video Jesse sounds like he actually has a brain. I guess the no common sense and nothing but stupidity was his character
Yea like moving his laundry 3 times or a few heavy fan mail boxes have you ever helped your parents with groceries well that's pretty much the same a KID could do that he acted like 20 lines the whole series and held the camera and gets more than 2x his salary is supposed to get in which he agreed to for 2 years and breeched it an hour before Switzerland honestly this is one of the easiest jobs ever he's just greedy what was Jesse supposed to do not pay anyone else and not get paid himself to give it all to corn just to do simple task 3k is what they signed for and Jesse gave him a raise to 7.5k and he didn't even appreciate it so corn is too greedy
looking back at this 6 years later it’s pretty clear what is the issue was. When you have a friend and you offer to pay them an hourly rate for them to help you do a full blown job it’s usually does work and they should appreciate the opportunity. But when the job has the potential of becoming largely successful and the money becomes larger than ever anticipated it does affect relationships. It’s a fine line between what people think they “deserve” and what they get. The issue is the animosity between corn doing a job and just lending a helping hand towards Jesse. I think it’s imminent that when corn sees the popularity and success of the series and in turn the money, he would feel as he deserves a much greater cut. I think eventually if corn had put his head down, accepted the reality of the job, as it being more of a friendship aspect he would’ve gotten paid a large sum by Jesse like the rest of the actors got.
Well also considering he lives with his parents (unless he has to pay rent) he doesn't have to use that money to pay rent/mortgage so 36 grand isn't THAT bad
Scarce here, today we have some AMAZING drama between a youtuber named McJuggerNuggets with 3.2 milion subs with slander videos back to back complaining how Jesse was not paying his cameraman enough. So, basically here, his cameraman who has left is making video's trying to hurt Jesse's buisness relationship. Now the 2 youtubers have had shootouts at each others houses hoping to kill one another..
dude thats good considering people make that after many blood, sweats and tears i mean all this dude had to do was hold a camera i would take that job in a heart beat
People have bias towards hating Jesse. Always have to hate the boss am I right? Anyway, I believe Jesse more. Notice how in Corn video, he just says Jesse a dick just because he didn't get a raise and never once said how much he was getting paid. Sounds like he's trying to make himself not look like a greedy bastard. I say Jesse is in the right on this one.
wiffasniffa Or, what if Corn just realize he can keep asking Jesse for raise and trying to take advantage of the fact Jesse is so nice to him? He seen the money and realize he could get more money by just holding a camera. You don't get mad when your boss doesn't give you a raise.
Hey whats up guys, its Scarce here and today we have a bunch of stories for today, now the first one actually comes from Mcjuggernuggets, you guys probably know who he is, he has over 3 MILLION subscribers, and he actually made a response against Corn. That's right guys.
I think Corn had it made. That's a lot of money for basically doing nothing. 3,000 a month for doing videos is something people should pray for. Corn overreacted!
listen to the video- it was 3 grand with TONS of bonuses because of the whining, a kiss off check of 7,500 after the money whine, then a TWENTY PERCENT raise, all inside of a year, plus money on the way out the door. Jesse got screwed over big time on this one
Corn is still the best. Jesse is a sociopath, in the series and in real life. Hell he even said in his bts that he didn’t blame his character for blaming Corn for the RU-vid channel and divorce video.
Jesse you're a creative genius and the psycho serious was beyond brilliant. I fell in love with it and millions of others did too. Anyone would have loved to be a part of it and would have just done it for free because they believed in it. The fact that corn was getting paid an unbelievable amount of money to be a part of something so amazing and wasn't satisfied is psychotic. Plot twist: corn is the psycho not your dad! :) love you and all that you do keep creating phenomenal content
Okay - So, I'm just saying, if I went to college, invested time/money into a degree... I would sure hope that I was worth more than $3,000/month. If you had a 42 hour work week, it would be the equivalent of working $17.86 an hour. Or if you worked a 35 hour work week you're making $21.43/hr. I have a BA and am currently doing my masters and that wouldn't be enough for me to stay, sorry. I have a few jobs and the bottom salary I have accepted is $25/hr, and top of the line right now is $39/hr. I will grant you that Corn didn't have a film degree, but there's something to be said for desiring job security and working a job that is going to set you up for the rest of your life. Why didn't you pay him hourly for his time? Also, because he was such a major character and around all the time... Why didn't you give him a percentage? Because you didn't think he deserved it. Who's really being greedy?
What really bugs me is how he complains about the expenses for Jesse to buy RV and other stuff. Employee doesn't need to give a shit about that because it's not his problem.
Exactly. Like, don't get me wrong, Corn isn't completely innocent in this. If he really was disrespectful and flipped the bird to Jesse and his Mom, then yeah, he should have had disciplinary action. And in terms of pay, maybe if he was paid an hourly wage that was consistent then working 35-42 hours a week then he wouldn't have felt like he was being taken advantage of. I wouldn't want to work for $18/hr, sorry.
Rewatching this a few years later as a young adult and if my boss cut me a check for 7,000 grand free and clear, you best believe I’m gonna take that opportunity
See the thing is, it's jesse's business. Ofcourse he's going to be making more. He's the front man, who has to conduct all the business deals, and well take the responsibility. If you want to make the huge money of a company then you have to make one. What Corn was making is really good all things considered. In my area a good job is considered 2 grand a month, and that's after taxes in shitty working conditions. I see this pay as fair, and the raise he got was generous. I wish someone would cut me a check for 7 grand, I could live a year off of that with just bills. I started my own business so money is at a premium.
Most people like my parents work 10 hours a day and they get payed less that 20 K a month, and they have me and two other brothers to take care of... corn needs to stop complaining
Maybe you should watch his video first cause if you did you would understand that he was asking for more money because he thought he deserved more and on top of that he quit is fucking good paying, benefit giving, time off giving job to work for Jessie.
did you even watch the video he gave him alot of money by holding a camera and pay him meals and trips and really he can have alot of time to have a break and jesse even said so and corn did break alot in the contract
Mad respect Mcjuggernuggets. I haven't watch any of your videos in a while but I'll get caught up, after the series ended I just lost interest but this video has shown me the kind of amazing person you are. See you around dude.
Jamie Street I'd just ask for an apartment 200 for food and cable / internet. I'm paying 500 now bills come to 800 total. so 1300 a month and I'd be happy. oh and gas for the car.
